Well, I took the plunge and bought a 2003 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor today with MINIMAL issues and she roars then the tranny went :*(, all it needs is a new tranny and a new starter, my question is, well, I have been looking ALL damn day for a used tranny but I can't find one, so, I was wondering do I NEED a 2003 transmission for an 2003 or can I go let's say to a 2004 or 2001 or 2002? I was just talking to a guy that will sell his transmission which is a 2004 but is NOT CVPI tranny, and what year of a starter can I use for my 2003?

A lot of Cole Harbour RCMP Cruisers can sit for weeks before they move, and i'm pretty sure all the extra cars are because officers are assigned to a specific one, then once shift ends it gets parked.

Pardon my French but, that's a crock of shit, I am NOT a wannabe cop, I don't go around pretending to be one either I drive tow truck but I do deal with police at MVA's, they are a decent looking car, and a retired police cruiser doesn't go for $5000.00, i'm not old either, so as Cp702 said, it's a stereotype, you know how many vehicle parts that can be repaired go into the garbage because the city doesn't want to pay to have them fixed? so, unless a police cruiser was involved in an MVA and is a complete right off then whoever told you they sell them because there is a serious problem with it, than why the hell are they selling an unsafe vehicle? I have seen RCMP Cruisers pulled off the road for a busted fuel pump, so whoever told you that is full of shit.

There would be SO much controversy over the mod, by the time Rockstar is done with you, you won't even be able to sit down. There are people who find flying planes into the GTAIV World Trade Center funny, so mods like that, definetely would not be very good/smart
