You live in Canada, nothing you say holds any value in this particular discussion. The USA and Canada are completely different countries with completely different history. I don't see the logic in comparing Black Canadians to Black Americans. What you say may be true in Canada, but it certainly isn't true in America. Unless you've lived in America, anything you say is irrelevant because the discussion is on Black AMERICANS. Not Black Canadians.

So, racism in Canada & the U.S are different? right.. racism is racism no matter how you look at it & it's 2015 shouldn't be tolerated anywhere you go regardless of history.

As a Black American myself, I agree to an extent. I disagree that most Blacks are as you described above, but I do agree that quite a significant amount of Blacks are. This has a lot to do with bad parenting within our community. There's actually history that follows up to the mess we call the Black community today. The cause WAS White oppression back then, and to say that racism was never an issue is extremely ignorant, almost bordering retarded. The fault falls on Whites for keeping Blacks in a poverty stricken status over history, and the fault falls on Blacks for giving up and wanting everything for free due to bad parenting. When Whites thrived, Blacks suffered. When Whites became wealthy, Blacks remained the same. When Whites were hit by the Great Depression, Black opportunity was virtually murdered. That's all changed today, but history does play a large role in the Black community that we have today.

This is as ignorant as it gets. At least Steele provided valid and sensible arguments and points to reinforce his opinion. You appear to be just another ignorant that believes all Black people are racist, all Black people want social security, all Black people want welfare, all Black people want food stamps. Blacks come from a time period where they looked at a White person the wrong way, they'd have a rope out around there neck, have their face mutilated, and be hanged from a tree; in the middle of the street. Then Whites would come and take family photos with the hanging body as if it were some sort of joke or game. Maybe things were different in Canada, but as beautiful as America is, it's had its dark moments in history. The Blacks you see on TV are the very minority that sit around and don't do jack shit to help themselves. The working Black community is ashamed of it, and we wish that you'd stop combining the communities and saying that all or even MOST Blacks are as you see on TV or the Internet.

To imply that Asians were treated worse than Blacks is asinine. What number of Asians were hanged in the middle of the street when compared to Blacks? What number of Asians were whipped across the face for not bringing in 100 pounds of cotton by dawn? What number of Asian women were raped, and had their children sold off to be raised as a future slave? What number of Asians were charged by racist cops with nightsticks? How many times was the National Guard called in to help Asian children walk peacefully to school without being lynched? How many times were Asians sprayed by the fire department for peacefully protesting on the side of the road for EQUAL RIGHTS? Not many I'd assume right? No, it wasn't only Blacks that faced harsh racism and discrimination in America, but the country was more than 90% White and 9% Black. Blacks got the shit end of the deal, and to say that they didn't is not only ignorance of history, but sheer stupidity. The question isn't WHY Some Blacks still hold a grudge against Whites, that's completely obvious. The question is HOW can the Black community overcome history? I can't trace my family any farther past my Great x2 grandmother. I can't even trace where I'm actually From. Which that's not really an issue, I'd much rather be considered an American over any potential African nation.

I don't see honesty as ignorance, I live literally 5 minutes from the largest black community in Canada & I HAVE to deal with them on a regular basis, 99% of the time when they call for a tow they try & under cut us, expect us to haul their junk for almost nothing, a car they call in a flat tire? is literally upside down in a ditch WITH a flat tire.. 90% of them are on welfare, which I pay for.. every coloured person I've dealt with has an attitude towards white people, whether I've done anything to them or not, when I used to ride transit I remember over hearing a group of black ladies cussing out white people, calling us names & our "privileges" yet, if I were to had said something to them, I would have been a racist & probably would have had a riot outside my house..

Black people are the ones with the problem, I don't personally have a problem with anyone of colour, but professionally, they're hard on the head, cause more hassle then it's worth, I was supposed to go do a simple tow for a guys girlfriend, I got out there & the car was in the ditch, I told them the price changed & a truck load of them showed up & gave me a hard time, the driver of the vehicle was drunk & crashed her car & panicked & chucked the keys, I looked down as I was surrounded by 5 of them & there they were on the windshield, I REFUSE to go up to that community at anytime after dark now so yep, guess white people are the racist ones with the problem, yep..

Probably haven't gotten their welfare cheques or food stamps, black community is always yelling racist about something..

Been with my gf for almost 4 years, she drives me fucking nuts most of the time, I'm a clean freak, she's not, but, my job requires me to work insane amounts of hours at once, from working all day & working all night, but, she sticks around, so I must be doing something right.

3 days, this winter has been craziness for towing.
