  1. while understand all of your opinion, even the insults I of course know I will be given, Its not fair for people to sell things expecting customer to buy it and then forced to be arrested for purchasing it. Impersonating a police officer is not wearing a police hat or badge, but rather enforcing law without proper certification. that's like you having the right to concealed carry or open carry a pistol in a holster and then charge you impersonating a cop for having a glaco police holster.  You can't unless you carried it to the point acting like one. I was simply buying a drink and then walked out the store and boom their was the unmarked crown vic.

Wrong, you were wearing a badge that would identify you as a Police Officer, otherwise, he wouldn't have stopped you, they don't expect you to buy anything, even under glow for cars has a warning on the label that reads "Check all Province or Statewide laws before using this product" I have a crown vic, that has strobes in it, cops know I have the car & the strobes & they are legal here, but wearing a badge that would identify you as an LEO is illegal no matter where you go.

  2. You're on a board titled "Politics, Current Events, and Society." What exactly were you expecting?

People have opinions because this is a serious matter. Someone killed themselves over this practice. She isn't the only one and I guarantee you she won't be the last.

People can opinions on this as much as they want, doesn't make any of them right either, does it?

I personally don't see any problem whatsoever with opinions, but it does start to bug me when people start to argue about why theres is right, when in reality, who cares?

  3. Before this thread goes to shit, everyone should just get over themselves & get their heads out of your asses, come on now..

No one gives a fuck your gay

No one gives a fuck you don't support gay people

No one gives a fuck your Christian

No one gives a fuck your Jewish

I don't give fuck if anyones butt hurt.

Everyone here is getting mad because of the difference in opinion, maybe I'm just the realist here, but who cares?

  4. Could I become a cop in Canada or will my felony follow me there?

You would have to get a pardon PLUS you have to be a Canadian Citizen & it's not even a for sure you could get a pardon.

Being a cop in Canada has such high demand, Halifax Regional Police has a waiting list of applicants of up to 5 years... they hire right out of high school & the RCMP can leave you waiting for up to a couple years.

  5. Go & see a judge to get a pardon, if you apply & get rejected, you may never be able to apply anywhere for an LE job, same goes for here in Canada, if you wish to be a Police Officer in a Province that does Pre- Employment Polygraph Examinations & you fail, you have 0 chance of ever being a Police Officer.

  6. I sure would have a cup of coffee waiting for them if they want it, I will even bring them in, show them around. I dont care if people think otherwise, I will bring them in, I have NOTHING to hide.

I dont care if they leave it a mess, I will pick up the big stuff, and my cleaner (Yes I have one) will then come in, and I will have her help pick up the rest, and then she can clean.

Are you at least going to pull your lips from they're asses when their done?

As I stated above, it's not about whether you have anything to hide or not, it's about your rights.

  7. Why do people always have to say "If you have nothing to hide then you have nothing to worry about"? it's not necessarily about hiding anything, it's about MY right to privacy & the freedoms I was given at birth, I don't agree with half of the things that LE are allowed to do in regards to peoples rights, but I do support the job they do, I talk to Police Officers every day at work & they are genuinely stand up guys/ women, but privacy IS my right as a Canadian citizen.

    Just the way it is.
