Crash After Tries to Load Previous Session

Featured Replies

After entering the police station my game crashed. Upon starting the game it tried return me to my previous location resulting in another crash. This is making it impossible to play the game even after deleting my save. I was just wondering if there is a way to avoid having to re-install everything and if it's possible to disable the resume session option for the future. I'm not sure how much help the logs are going to be but I'll put them up nevertheless.

When you say you are deleting your save, do you mean the savegame.fr file? If so try deleting the oldsession.fr file as well. If you want to disable the auto-save feature this can be done by running the LCPDFR Diagnostic tool in the LCPDFR folder which is located in the GTA IV main folder. After you run it click on Configure LCPDFR then click on the General Settings #2 tab and untick the box that says Enable auto-save.
