Sorry all, work on my end has been busy and non-stop. haven't had much of an urge to get online and work on much. trying to get back in the groove and get this back on track. hopefully run into a few of you and I will get you on to take a sneak peak.

sorry for the lack of updates, a lot of things going on recently for me. I had to rework a couple of the modules with some upgrades I did to my web server. I am going to be pushing out a handful of updates and will try to get some of you if not everyone on this soon to play around with it.

depending on what company you get the ALPR from will determine the placement... although that video depicts the light bar setup, there are others as well. the most common around the east coast are the cameras mounted on the trunk and an additional camera in the front next to the dash cam. there are also other types of cameras, some can shoot multiple lanes others are single cameras. it is a unique system. most cost approx. $12,000 USD or more.

thanks maddriller... a little update, with the holidays coming up and being busy at work, I haven't had much free time to work on this but still pushing to get something out soon. A member or two has already worked with the MDC/MDT and I received some good feedback from them. I will continue doing my updates and hopefully take on some more testers and then just open to everyone.

darkangel, with those stats how many were overweight.... fitness is key in police work. Workout, eat healthy, and take vacations.... do that and you will have no problem dealing with police work and the job let alone retirement. Fitness is key.

as of right now it is external. depending on how I can implement it within the game itself I will explore that option. One step at a time, need to start somewhere and this is the best place to start.

the way patrol areas are assigned are based on departments, if you choose state, you then choose a borough (county) (booker, dukes, etc...), those would be your patrol areas and then within your account you could change which borough you patrol. If you elected to operate as an officer in the local level, then you will have that location to patrol without any specific patrol zone, just the entire part of that specific city. when you setup your profile it asks you for some info and then has you choose.... being that it is generic and not tailored to specific breakdowns like it can be, this is the single player version, something like that is not likely to be a big thing unless you have a clan and they have different zones or patrol areas/multiple responsibilities

not putting a time frame on it. I am not getting paid to do it, I work, and I like to make sure things work properly and how I want them. plus reading some others who have posted projects and ideas. if you miss a date people start complaining, and start talking how your full of it. so to avoid all that I will post updates as they come along, I will let some test as I feel necessary and everyone else will just have to hold on tight.

ah I see, yes it is very similar to what I described, minus issuing warrants. Warrants are automatically issued, they can be enforced though. Updated the thread with an image from the incident manager, basically that is where you can view all your cad incidents. if you have any cad incidents that you cleared and forgot to add a disposition code you can add it on that page.

thanks, what do you mean be able to track people with warrants? The system will automatically issue warrants to individuals (40K+) within the DB. There will be a way to clear out a warrant once served/booked for and that warrant will be listed in that individuals criminal history. Just like real life no matter who (you me or any other user) you will see the criminal history of that individual. (oh no I let out some more secrets... I really need to stop doing that)

when you register, you choose which department you want to work for State, County, Local. That will determine if it says Trooper/Officer, it switches. Call outs are specific to the region or department you choose. (whoops, just let more details slip out) The clan version is set specifically for each clan, and those details will be released accordingly. For now though it is going to be the single version and expand. One step at a time.

for some reason i cannot edit and save, but before i look like an idiot, i saw it says all models however i have tried to replace textures and it was not rendering, maybe i was doing something wrong, after all I am new.
