I just installed GTA IV from steam to my new computer. My new laptop is an Alienware so the laptop is not the problem. Everytime I start the game and press "ALT-P" to start LCPDFR, nothing. Nothing at all. No error messages no nothing. As if I didn't even have the mod installed. But I do. I downloaded G17 IV Diagnostic program to see what the problem is and what I found really confused the heck out of me. It makes ZERO sense. Here is what It says: CPU supported RAN supported .NET Framework 4.0 installed Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable GTA IV Detected GTA IV ASI Loader not found GTA IV C++ Scripthook not found GTA IV LCPDFR not found GTA IV LCPDFR settings not found GTA IV audio not found Okay. uh what? So I install LCPDFR now like five times... even re-installed everything and the same problem occurs everytime. I seriously need some help with this. So if anyone knows of any solution to this please let me know. I have no more information then what I have posted on this thread. Thanks...

Is there a mod that makes the Police and Peds better drivers? -_- I'm more worried about the other cops... I'm sick of being in police chases and getting my ass mowed down by another officer... It completely takes the "realistic feel" out of the game... It ruins it for me... is there anything that will make them at least a LITTLE less aggressive?

Hello, I keep seeing new callouts for LCPDFR and I'm wondering how the heck to get them? My version only has the same thing over and over witch is domestic, suicide and once in a great while there is a quick shoot off. Nothing special. Then after a certain amount of callouts they just stop... no more... none... I even try to click F7 off and back on and get nothing. It's getting really boring to be honest and I would like to be able to do more. Does anyone know how people are responding to these other calls? Thanks.

Does anyone know of any really good mods for realistic weapon damage? Like a pistol is one or two shots and will knock you onto your back or push you backwards? Shotgun/AK/M4/Sniper all one shot? I really want this! Thank you!

Okay, after a long annoying night... I got it to work! It just lags like INSANELY... but I think that's just my shitty laptop haha! Thanks for the help. No I don't play MP. But thanks :)

i was using OpenIV but idk for sure so I'm gonna go check and try again and let you know :) I just tried again and still have the same problem with nothing else running except Skype haha... This is really upsetting :( I don't understand why it's not working... Every single mod I'm using works 100% fine on GTA 4 the normal version but TBOGT it doesn't... well... it does... just without any people spawning or cars spawning... also, when I go to quit the game, after checking "Quit" the whole game goes into "Not responding"... I don't get why it's doing all of this... I'm guessing I'm going to need to just remove all the mods and try again one at a time :/ this is going to take forever :(

Hey guys, yeah, I have been having a lot of problems lol thanks for dealing with me.. Anyway, now after installing LCPDFR, ELC, Police Helper and IVDashCam a few gun mods and a few Police car mods, everything is working fine BUT not a single car is on any street. So people walking around ether... its me myself and no one else. That rimes, lol. So anyone know wth is going on? Why is there no people walking around or vehicles driving around? and why out of nowhere would my trainer stop working? Also, I did try to delete all my trainer stuff out of the TBOGT folder and In-game nothing changed. So the trainer is not causing the people/vehicles not to spawn... so I'm clueless...

My game now won't even start... it comes up saying "Program has stopped working" and doesn't tell me why... -.- I seriously don't understand why it's doing this :/

I just tried that and now I came across a whole new problem -.- now there is no LCPDFR launcher... just the normal game launcher... so... how am I suppose to start the game and have it be compatible with LCPDFR if there isn't even a LCPDFR launcher icon anywhere lol..

Hello, I'm having issues installing LCPDFR to my TBOGT game.... I have the steam version that also comes with TLAD... The expansion is called "Episodes from Liberty City" I have no clue where to install LCPDFR... I tried to install it right into the TBOGT folder but when doing that I got this error: Installation component 'LCPDFRModels' error'd! at G17MediaSetupEngine.Installation_Components.tazershit.beginComponent() at G17MediaSetupEngine.UI.Interface.wizardControl1_SelectedPageChanged(Object sender, EventArgs e) at G17MediaSetupEngine.UI.Interface.wizardControl1_SelectedPageChanged(Object sender, EventArgs e) I'm guessing I installed it to the wrong place... so if anyone could help me out with this, I would appreciate it. P.s, I did search all over google and youtube before coming here, Couldn't find shit on how to install this to TBOGT... so HELP! lol thanks.

I would like to add that I just checked the weapon.ivaud file in OpenIV > GTA 4 > resident.rpf > RESIDENT and all the files in there say "Attributes (No)" and the Weapons one and Exploitation one both say there "Compressed" instead of no :| Idk how the heck to fix that :( That's what I did. I did one at a time and it stopped working after I did the sound mods. I remember that now. I went back to look and yeah, I'm sure its the sound mod. So the problem I believe is how the modded files say "Compressed" under "Attributes" in stead of just saying "No" and I don't know why? I followed a tut step by step 100% correctly... Okay now I have checked again to find that the type is called "file" when every other one is called "sound" wth did I do wrong? I don't get it...

Hey guys, okay so my game keeps crashing everytime I try to add my mods... The mods that I currently have install are "ELS" "LCPDFR" "GTA 4 Trainer" "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CsJRdKC1_xs" <--- That weapon sound mod... and that's it.... I'm guessing that it's the weapon sounds that are fucking everything up and I really need help figuring out how to fix it. I didn't backup my files witch I know is my biggest mistake. I forgot completely. Can someone help me find get the original Weapon sound files? And maybe weapon IMG files to be sure? I can't remember if I have those files replaced or not. I really really don't want to have to uninstall and then re-install the game... I have had to do that know about 3 times today and once tomorrow... So if anyone could please help me... it would be very greatly appreciated... Thanks.
