  1. These are Tampa PD's DUI Unit (1 sergeant / 2 corporals / 12 officers). Here's a video on YouTube that showcases the whole charger (lighting 360 degrees and interior): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7nJltIvqUtg *3:27 for front/side/interior *8:29 for back
  2. Minecraft is not easily decompiled and Mojang has also tried to DMCA Bukkit in the past. Spigot has also had the issue of single-core performance and it the issue was largely ameliorated by Paper (a fork). The two are much more similar than you think. I really do think you'd be surprised what the community can do with source code. I think there'd be lots more QOL/performance improvements added to main branch and we'd be able to see large spin-off branches with different visions as well.
  3. Blaming original devs for issues caused by a fork can be easily prevented by adding a popup and ignoring anyone who isn't using the official branch. The API works great, I've used it myself to create some things but it doesn't provide the amount of flexibility that source code has. Try taking a look at Minecraft, specifically Spigot which is a similar software with core features as well as plugin support. It's open source and has been forked numerous times for more specific use cases (PaperMC) and has over 500 contributors with performance enhancements and other QOL features that would've otherwise been overlooked. Even though more people use forks of their software than the official branch, there are barely any issues with plugin incompatibility or bug reports going to original developers. The people know that it's the responsibility of the fork to ensure plugin support and fix any issues. More than anything, I think the largest benefit would come to performance. You seem to underestimate the impact that leaving the code open for a year or so will do. When developers go to study parts of the software for their own reasons, any imperfections in the code will be hoisted. Even having a multi-million dollar software engineering team won't get you the same performance as open-source with a large community (LSPDFR already has, just isn't using it to it's full advantage). LSPDFR is a massive performance killer, running it solo (no other mods) with very high texture quality will 10/10 times cause texture loss within an hour. It also halves my FPS (from about ~140 to ~80). I'm sure the developers have looked into it extraneously, but so did the 6-figure GTA5 developers with multiplayer load times.
  4. Directed towards LSPDFR team & contributors From the few threads I've seen mentioning the issue, none have received a straight answer as to why LSPDFR (not LCPDFR) is closed-sourced (proprietary). It seems like the perfect software that could benefit from community contributors. With a wide range of performance issues and to-do features, allowing the rather large existing developer community (any C# developer with a little RagePluginHook knowledge) to make pull-requests or fork the software (if the added features don't align with the official vision) would only benefit everyone. For example, the official team rejects the suggestion of natively implementing some of the heavily requested features from the no longer supported StopThePed. If open sourced, any random C# developer could come along and create a fork for anybody who wants those features. Having more people look at (and diagnose) the code will also help spot performance weak-spots. Similar to how some hacker found a way to reduce GTA5 load times by 70% 8 years after the game released. Even with the resources of a multi-million dollar company, having more random developers look at the code can still vastly benefit. Unless I'm missing something, I see no reason for the community-driven software to remain proprietary. Open-sourcing would garnish more donations, better performance, and overall help advance the software. Licensing it under something of a GPL/AGPL license could prevent people from selling forks and taking credibility away from the official project. Similar threads that don't actually address the issue:
  5. The main entrance to the downtown station is unlocked, but doors going downstairs, to lockerroom, or captain's office are all locked. I've tried OpenAllInteriors and EnableAllInteriors, neither seem to do anything. I feel like this is something that LSPDFR should do natively but I'm not sure. I've seen previous threads regarding this topic and they all seem to be solved by installing AdvancedHookV.asi. I can't find this download anywhere but I currently have AdvancedHookV.dll installed. Thanks in advance, Theo
  6. Fair enough, well, if you get a chance, it'd be nice. If not, I guess thats fine.
  7. I'm not sure whether its more complicated than this (since I'm not a modeler), but it should be as simple as switching the seat with the little platform. You don't really have to redesign anything or make any changes to seat/door/divider models.
  8. Why not? 90% of people use STP for K9 partners and it gets kinda annoying when they always go in the wrong side.
  9. Could you possibly switch the sides on the back seat? Stop The Ped always puts K9 partners on the right side (Currently the prisoner transport side) instead of the left side (Where the K9 is supposed to sit).
  10. I will [removed] to anyone who still have the OIV for EUP 8.1 and is willing to send it to me. It would be preferable also having the old version of EUP S&R too. Thanks!
  11. I have an issue where certain cars (such as Camaro and Tahoe are a shiny green in-game. It looks normal from the yft files but it is green in-game.
  12. if you still need it, there it is
  13. It may also be an issue with Ultimate Backup if you have that, but I dont think ELS doesn't controls code 3/pursuit backup, lighting stage 3 for ELS is hard built into the vehicle model, not the ELS file for the vehicle. Does this issue persist when you don't have ELS installed?
  14. No, i doubt that has anything to do with it. If its a bug with ELS, reinstalling lspdfr/gta 5 won't help sinces its a bug with the actual code of ELS
  15. Probably its a bug with ELS then, since the ELS developer is inactive and hasn't pushed an update since 2017, I don't really know how this would get fixed.
  16. What vehicle pack are you using & are you sure you installed the carvariations/carcols correctly?
  17. This mod should replace all signs/free boards to more realistic ones (like replacing LSX to LAX). https://www.gta5-mods.com/maps/real-freeway-signs Hopes this helps. 🙂
  18. From what I've read/seen, LSPDFR has an age logic to sort peds by young, middle-aged, and old: If it is possible for someone to make a quick plugin to make the min/max age for young, middle-aged, and old peds customizable (in an ini file) I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, cowz
  19. Hey @Sam, I know this response is extremely late but you do think that you could possibly add a configuration setting in the lspdfr.ini file to customize the min/max age for young, middle-aged, and old in the next LSPDFR update? If so I would much appreciate it!
  20. Hey @STEVETHEGAMER, I saw that you made a video using the pack's expedition and I was wondering if you perhaps remember the handling line you used? Thanks, Cowz
  21. Hey @Reddington, the ford expedition from this pack seems to not work with the "fbi2" handling ID: I've tried ones like "baller" "gresley" and "baller2" but nothing feels good. If you could look into it that would be great
  22. Hey, i know this is really late but I found a fix to this issue. The Issue: When using the RDE addon, the popgroups.ymt is corrupt Fix: Use the regular RDE popgroups.ymt (Not the one from the addon) Hope this help anyone still having this issue!
