  3. Anything i didnt list lol. So quite a bit eh Well i've seen 2 types of drivers. One is the DUI like that cant keep lane and the rocket launchers. I should fraps it to show you, it is hilarious but not really useful. Not sure if its just me and how my game spawns traffic
  4. I dont like the new main menu.. too many clicks to get anywhere. Would be nice to have CALL EMS, POLICE, FIRE on the main window and not under SERVICES. Actually i dont think you can even call police through it.. have to go through the lcpd computer thing. Is it possible to spawn POLICE at your location and keep them there? Now when you spawn them through the lcpd computer they come, walk around and leave in 5 seconds... Second thing, the custom fine amount should be set through the ini file. I have to keep adjusting it every time to my preferred amount. I want to put it at a specific amount and not have to worry about it. Speeding cars drive into anything and everything and just wreck into other traffic.. No i mean they literally behave as if launched from a catapult. Not sure i like that too much.. its in fact, annoying Now that you have expanded it to this point, is it possible to run people's info when they are in a car? Such as when you do a traffic stop, you walk up the window and can run id like when on foot. Right now it just says "suspect has to be close and in front of you". again, not sure if that is possible even. Last and somewhat not related to this here.. can you make tow service keep a track of how many cars you have towed? And related to here, keep track of citations within policehelper and any other thing you can think of. I think statistics are fun!
  5. last scripthook runs it no issues i haven't noticed crashes beyond the normal
  6. Of all the things that need to be changed, this isnt one.
  7. im yet to survive a double uzi assault.. it seems my character gets retarded and wont even fire. and yes i approach with my own uzi drawn now. every car. every time. doesnt seem to help much..
  8. HAH i always thought FNF was NFS the movie.... anything ea touches is poison so it will fail.
  9. Great idea except rockstar will never license the GTA engine to do so........ developing your own is financially impossible. if i were some filthy rich russian warlord billionaire i could see funding this... donuts studios. employ 1000 people and see what they come up with in 2 years...
  10. Didn't add anything because it is not that car. it is this one: 8.23.2011 Bxbugs123 GTAPoliceMods.com MODEL OVERVIEW - NAME: LCSD 2008 Crown Vic/ LCPD 2008 Crown Vic - VERSION: CVPI-V7.2J
  11. My fleet is limited to vehicles that do not crash my game every few minutes (lots of trial and error to get here). All screenshots from random playtime, i didnt go and take new ones just for this thread. mainly in this thing.. It is an older release. I think version 4.2 bugs something? No way to tell, i have 30 crownvic zips floating around. have to compare textures to know which one exactly The most epic suv available imo. sadly its a frame rate killer. i dont think we need that crap in the trunk but no new version has been made with reduced polygons. This is a new impala that came out recently... I am in love with it. 90% of the impalas crash my game for some reason but this one doesnt.
  12. On a side note i would highly recommend the suburban with the EP911 lightbar (one of the best lightbars ever created, in real life and in game). Close enough to a tahoe but be aware that it kills fps. Seems to be more polygons than EVI's demo tahoe
  13. Well mpg is in the 10s.. really 16-18 to be accurate. Anyhow not my biggest issue with these. If you want one i presume you haven't driven one. These cars are really pretty miserable when not loaded with equipment or given something to do in them. That's why i am a fan of impala because they actually make decent (not good, just decent) cars in civilian form. So defenitely drive one before.. i know some people buy them sight unseen @ auctions for cheap and then wonder what they ended up with.. not that the car itself was anything tragic, just wasn't what they expected. If you have that covered and still want one, go for 2006+ 2003 introduced the tachometer and better radio and 2006 saw the idle hour counter. I wouldnt touch one without it. Our county school police (all of 2 cars) are 2001s with under 9000 miles (srs). Idle hours are close to 20000 however. One engine was already replaced and the other is burning oil quite bad. Defenitely something to watch out on these.. Parts aren't that cheap nor are the cars overly simple to work on and parts being available.. well you said it. Cab companies usually clean up any good parts asap. Here they have started using minivans because they got tired of fighting for parts for the crappy cvpi fleets. The largest county company is 100% cvpi and they suck up the market for counties in either direction. Other cab companies gave up and went for chevy astros, ford 500s, tauruses (the old ones), varios other domestic and imported minivans. Check to see if that isn't the same in your area. Lastly, it is a myth that state cars are better than city cars or that "detective" cars are always better. Here we have the general county motor pool (public works, juvenile court (they got shafted!), housing authority and what have you not) and the sheriff motor pool. The magistrate and state court uses the sheriff motor pool unmarked stripped down detective cars (radio and some scarce assortment of various lights somebody didnt know where else to install). We only get to use them because we share the building and the DA in the past got that agreement through (gotta love the 90s!). Anyway, my point is i've gotten some of the crappiest junk heaps from the "detective" pool. They aren't maintained because they aren't mission critical. ie, if they crap in the middle of the road, nobody cares. Just call for a tow/pick and wait. So don't fall for the detective gimmick or pay more money for a car from a particular agency. I see that one in at least 1 of 5 ads and always makes me smile. Good luck with the car hunting.
  14. 12mpg also google "wacker" "cvpi" together.... 2 good reasons!
  15. 1. you assume its a caprice. as mentioned earlier it could be a holden 2. you assume there aren't other people who make/convert models and release in weird language forums that nobody can read... you know, gta doesn't end with the english sites.........
  16. I have a few... Truck, some cars, offroader, suv, some more cars. I wrench on them myself which allows me to have exotic taste on a honda budget
  17. re tahoe. there are 2 versions. one is pursuit rated and the other isnt. the pursuit version is really confused as well.. small wheels, ground clearance of a civic... still bad cog. no real terrain management ability. i suppose it is a good dog vehicle where a magnum can't suffice esp since they arent made any more re offroading.. for all purposes you will be amazed what you can put a car through if you really tried... trucks make good utility vehicles. scene clean up, special events so you can haul cones and what not in abundance. bad for everything else. also dont forget they suck fuel which means your taxes go up!!
  18. my last recording (i dont promote or link them) was over 120gb before compression. remember fraps et al take raw video. you will need an industrial computer to record, play and compress all the same time without delay
  19. not really getting into that thread talked about here, but here is some food for thought for all of you a lot of times people get an idea and make a thread they are working on something. usually they have no idea how to achieve it or if they do, the skills needed far exceed their skills. so the project never gets anywhere. what you need to consider before posting "omg cool awesome cant wait you rock blah blah kissup some more" and going on a crusade to silence all those not worshipping the idea poster, is that both sides of extreme views just fuel conflict.. it is no different than the epidemic of people rating before trying or unfairly rating (either 1 or 10 or whatever the top and low ends of the particular scale is). because keep in mind if you rate a 1, somebody else will rate a 10 just to counter your vote. none are a true refletion of the real quality of the thing being voted on. on other sites, things have gone as far as the releaser asking people to up vote as to counter the bad (and often deserved) votes.. so things to consider when somebody comes up with new mods, releases new mods etc. especially ones that claim to be revolutionary.. wait for the substance first, keep the hype down. its 3am its raining and im dead tired. i hope any of the above makes sense
  20. for a 1000 if you drive it a month you are still losing money. if you drive it a year, you are ahead. will it last a year without repairs? no chance in hell.
  21. Thank you so much for making these changes in 1.5
  22. dsound is garbage, at least in my experience with it. xliveless should fix your stuff. at least for single player DirectSoundCaptureCreate8 is a sound driver function call within windows. the gta dsound has no reason to call for that... check your drivers. could be some auto update that slipped through and messed it up
