  1. I guess I'm going to need to get the Trainer and try these out. Thanks!
  2. I second this. I'd love to have weapons that are more powerful with AI criminals who shoot with less pinpoint accuracy.

  4. I've been trying to do LCPD:FR multiplayer for quite some time now and was wondering if anyone could post a more extensive guide as to how to enable and play LCPD:FR in multiplayer without the crashes and problems. My game seems to be crashing every 10-15 minutes and is just really buggy. But I keep seeing these YouTube videos where people are playing together and its running much more smoothly then my game. What settings are you using, how do you properly do it, what tips to keep it stable, ect. Me and some buddies would really appreciate any assistance. Thanks! Currently using: - LCPD:FR (095RC2R2) - Bravehearts Policing Script (2.3) And thats it, nothing else. Anyways, I think we may enjoy jumping on a server with others if it'll remain stable. I'd love to do co-op with FD/EMS.
  5. Those two mods are great for singleplayer survival and have a tone of awesome features. However, they crash during multiplayer... are there any good MP mods? Thanks again.
  6. Awesome, downloading them now. Thanks for posting the links!
  7. Hey, I've been trying to find a good zombie mod for GTA IV and most of the search has been disappointing. I've noticed a few really good looking mods out there like Necropolis: City of the Dead and Contagium but Necropolis doesn't appear to work with the latest patches and Contagium is buggy. Furthermore, I'm trying to find something thats MP compatible or playable (Contagium works but isn't synced and very buggy). Just wondering if the community here knows any good mods. Also, LCPDFR mod actually works with Contagium mod... makes me feel like a rookie officer just getting to Raccoon City.
  8. For the record, the baton is not an effective disarming weapon in LCPD mod. I do wish I could do something besides tazing though...
  9. Awesome video. I look forward to hopefully seeing more of these co-op videos coming out. Anything special you guys did to make it more MP friendly? Also, LCPD is now on the lookout for flying vehicles during traffic stops and investigations. Stay on the lookout!

Agreed. That's when it comes down to Officer's judgement. Police are NOT literally required to go through the continuum step-by-step. If the officer says that the suspect was moving for cover then he can probably justify the shooting.
  11. In multiplayer? What version of the mod are you using? They would regularly attack us if we did anything wrong. After a pursuit we arrested a suspect and then they started shooting us. I had to call out NOOSE once and they arrived only to shoot me in the back... deliberately. Also, related to multiplayer, do you guys find Hamachi to be more stable or online? Lastly, is there anything special one must do to get Hamachi to work?

I come from St. Louis where I received some Law Enforcement training and minored in Criminal Justice in college, I am by no means an expect and things may have changed since over time but I believe that the situation is left to the officers discretion when it comes to an armed suspect. A fleeing suspect will be very difficult to justify shooting, especially if their back is to the officer, I'd assume that'd be a case by case basis and certainly investigated heavily by Internal Affairs. The officer will have had to use ALL of his other means to subdue the suspect and to prevent the situation from escalating. This means going through the Law Enforcement Use of Force Continuum, you will have head to exhaust all other means of force (not literally). Shooting always have negative impacts upon society, thus, they are certainly a last resort. Taking a live with deadly force is taking away someone's child, brother, lover, or friend. It will often have negative consequences associated with it and can sometimes escalate an already tense community situation into a more dangerous situation for the department and community at large. Gangs may retaliate against the department, the populace can become less cooperative, and the department can lose respect and authority within the community. Violence should always be a last resort, especially when we have tazers and other non-lethal methods. I think many of you are lucky LCPD apparently has no Internal Affairs ;) p.s. Shooting in the foot isn't legit either, lol. This ain't the wild west!
  13. I've been shot up once while in a traffic stop. I didn't stand a chance and barely had my sidearm out of my holster before I got blown away :( Anyways, my weirdest story was during an online MP game with two friends. We all decided to ride in the same car... odd, I know. And we saw this guy run a red light so we tried to stop him. Well, he ran and it turned into a rather large pursuit for a multiplayer game with no police turned on. The suspect decided to fire on us so we blew out his tires and fired back. We could barely keep up with the suspect but then after a few minutes his tires went out. Soon after that his vehicle caught on fire! It looked like the fire spread and at an on-ramp to a highway the suspect bailed out at around 50 MPH while on fire. We stopped the car and I got out to subdue him as he miraculously stood up after being on fire. I had him in my sights just as his vehicle exploded in a giant ball of fire knocking us back and setting him ablaze again. After that he was burned to a crisp and EMS couldn't do anything for him. Everyone was so in the moment that nobody expected his car to explode like that when it did. Really caught us off-guard!
  14. So, myself and a couple friends attempted some LCPDFR multiplayer last night. It worked but we found it buggy and crash prone (which we certainly expected), it was still pretty fun. I'm curious, what are you guys playing? How do you play? What version of the mod do you use (we used .95)? And is there anything that will help or reduce the bugs and crashes? Any mods that worked or certainly don't work? Things we found: - We disabled Police because they'd attack us and treat us as criminals. This applied to backup units (which still spawned when called). - Traffic stops seemed buggy. Seems the driver must take primary when conducting them and should be the only one to conduct them. - During some traffic stops the suspect would just drive away but not initiate a pursuit. - Some suspects would vanish, animations weren't synced. - Frisking causes a crash. - Looked like CPR at least functioned, idk if it worked properly. - Going into the station would spawn more and more redundant police and security (including the easter egg). Again, it was a lot of fun and we all really look forward to seeing what the future holds for LCPDFR :) btw, hit "X" (default) to turn off the radio while on patrol.
  15. Excellent fix, I'm definitely going to try this out. Furthermore, I appreciate you coming up with this despite some unnecessary hostility. Thanks for posing your file. Should make things easier for us less skilled folks :)
  16. Apologies for being late to the party.
  17. PPM. I HATE you guys... Reminds me of the scene in 'Clear and Present Danger'.
  18. I don't think that's too unreasonable. Nice work.
  19. Wasn't that old of a thread... plus it was at the top of the forum (most recent). :P
  20. 0.95 seems to get it down perfect. I think any more options would over-complicate things.
  21. Even if it was something as simple as using the numpad to have them exit the vehicle and they'd possibly comply. I hate running up to the car and dragging them out. It doesn't have to be super realistic, I like the idea of a simple solution.
