What Should LCPDFR 2.0 Have?
1.) During traffic stops, vehicles pull over to the right ALL of the time 2.) Be able to do a vehicle search 3.) A better variety of callouts (and more realistic) without having to use plugins that will crash/make the game slow (medical alarms, other medical calls, house/building alarms, aggressive driving, disputes-more argumentative than physical, different MVAs-3 car, 2 car, 1 vehicle hit something like a lamppost or tree, some having injuries, others may not have any injuries, rarely death...) 4.) Officers directing/blocking off a lane of traffic when needed 5.) Being able to call for an additional unit on a traffic stop and officers in a police car neatly and realistically pulling up behind you with their lights on, getting out and walking over and staying with the vehicle while you are running their info on the police computer and/or just hanging out by the pulled over car like a real officer would do on a routine traffic stop 6.) Being able to pull over more than one vehicle 7.) Having more citation amounts that would be more realistic based off of the offense 8.) When you run someone's info on the police computer and it says "Times Stopped" and "Citations", have reasons for each one (Times Stopped: 2, Failed to use directional, aggressive driving. Citations: 2, Tailgating, speeding) 9.) Have the list of all callouts in the lcpdfr.ini file and a value next to them; the lower the value the less likely you are to have that callout, the higher the value the more likely you are to have that callout 10.) In the lcpdfr.ini file, under pursuits, be able to control how often you have vehicle pursuits when pulling over a vehicle (same concept as #9) I'm not implying that LCPDFR 1.0 isn't good, it really is great and this mod has definitely come a long way, but these suggestions can and would make LCPDFR a more realistic mod. And when GTA V comes out on PC, the ideas/procedures could be the same.

This really looks amazing. You did an awesome job! I really appreciate your time and effort. I've been looking for a model like this ever since I first started modding and stuff about 2 or 3 years ago and being that it's almost rare that you find a car with even a whelen freedom ligthbar similar to this, it made it really difficult to find a car model even remotely similar to this. Thanks again! When you release the vehicle let me know. I'll put the skins in and test the car out in-game.

Yeah, lol I would never have the time to do that on my own. I don't even have any experience with modeling and stuff either. And yes, that would be great: A front and rear facing radar, computer, if you could add a siren console in their and vertical bars on both rear passenger windows (where the prisoner would sit) and also an antenna like the one in the picture below centered on the trunk that would be great. This pic is more clear than what I posted before; it just had to do with the way my computer focused the image. This would be a better one to look at for the traffic adviser, its positioning and size, if it's not too late.

Okay. Wow, I never thought anyone would take the time to do this. Thanks a lot, I really appreciate it. When You are completely done, you're going to post it here?

You looked at my edit at 7:04pm about the PRML, SECL, and WRNL and the videos? Look at the original post, the last picture at the bottom: "Whelen Freedom Light Bar" is what I mean in terms of the colors and the squares. (Blue, takedown, Blue, Blue, Red, Red, takedown, Red)- each color is one square

By top and bottom set, you mean the light bar and the traffic advisor? Oh, you mean in the light bar? Check out that video at around 1:20. Not like that. Don't make the lights flash separately from the top half of the light bar and the bottom half. Make the top half flash syncronized with the bottom half, making the squares flash like in this video: Like This: And then I could just chose a light pattern in ELS 8. And also, in ELS, make the lightbar flash on the PRML, the traffic adviser flash on the SECL, and the flashing halogens and taillights flash on the WRNL. So: PRML- Lightbar SECL- Traffic Adviser WRNL- Halogens/taillights

Oh my god, thanks so much! I forgot to add one thing though: no rambar No pushbar/rambar. Just what I said in the post. Thanks! And can you make it including this template?: It's bxbugs123's/JM designs as it says in the top right corner. I got it from another model that I already made the skins for, for personal use, so I think you just have to ask bugs's/JM designs's permission to include it in the download or if you want to do one yourself like that. It's just that I already have skins made from scratch based on that template.

CVPI Model Request
Hello. I've been looking for a CVPI with a certain light setup for a while now, but to no avail. I was hoping that one of you guys could make me a CVPI (like a 2007 or 2008) with a whelen freedom light bar with red and blue lights and alley lights (with an emerglights or some file like that that I can easily customize the light colors myself), a 6-head traffic advisor with yellow lights in the rear window mounted right above the rear brake light, and the typical flashing halogens in the headlight area and flashing taillights. Also make it ELS v8 compatible and include the police spotlight on the driver's side door like the CVPIs usually have. There are pictures attached to look at as a reference. Make it just like the cop car in the pictures (and sorry for the poor picture quality, I had a hard time finding them). Thanks a lot. I REALLY appreciate it! 6-Head Traffic Advisor: Rear of Police Car (6-Head Traffic Advisor and Rear of Light Bar): (Notice the size of the traffic advisor as well. Don't make it stretch all the way across the rear window. Make it the same size as it is on the CVPI in the picture.) Front of Light Bar: Back of Light Bar: Whelen Freedom Light Bar:

That looks really nice! Very well-textured. The only thing I would have to say about it is that you could see the "checkerboard" plain texture behind the jacket. It looks like you have to set the opacity on the jacket color up higher. Other than that it looks nice!

Help with some game-crashing issues?
I actually kind of fixed it up a bit. I deleted callouts+ and since I had all spark iv files in the gta 4 main directory, I moved all those files out of the directory and in the same folder that the gta 4 main folder is in. This seemed to make it run better.

Help with GTA IV acting glitchy and crashing?
I just want to report: I just patrolled around in gta 4 and it didn't crash. It ran pretty smoothly, although there were a couple of times where for a second it kind of froze and I thought it was going to crash and it didn't. The only error I encountered was when I tried to make an arrest after a pursuit where lcpdfr 'encountered an error' and it said to 'check LCPDFR.log'. I didn't see if it worked after that (I stopped playing), but I played a total of about 45 minutes crash-free like I have been before I posted this support thread. Also, wouters ran pretty smoothly and worked right (for one call) for the first time since I installed it. I think moving the spark iv files made it run better.

Help with GTA IV acting glitchy and crashing?
Okay. Usually when I re-install it, it ends up fixing it somewhat. It's just so incredibly time consuming.. Well, that laptop will definitely boost game performance through the roof, won't it? I mean, now I have to be so careful as to what I install into the game because it lags terribly or won't work at all even with graphic settings as low as they go. That gaming laptop should be able to handle ENBs, and mods/scripts, and stuff without all the lag, even with the graphics settings up high, right? I mean, I'll take the crashes every once and a while, of course, but definitely much less than it would with the laptop I have now. The capacity of the graphics card on that laptop has to count for something, right? It's specifically made for gaming and an elite one at that. Even though GTA 4 is an extremely unstable base when modded, it should still be a great game performance with that laptop, shouldn't it? I'm just shooting for the best possible game performance and I'm sure there is much better than what I have now. I want to be able to have all the stuff I have in now (and maybe even more) and the laptop being able to smoothly handle it with no lag (and like I said before, of course the occasional crash here and there). Maybe when GTA 5 comes out for PC and lcpdfr and things like that are developed for that it will be much more stable that gta 4 is when modded. BTW, you seem to really know your stuff. How did you get to know all of this? Experience I guess, huh?

Help with GTA IV acting glitchy and crashing?
Yeah, usually just when I exit. If the game crashes I don't think I recall it giving me either one of those messages, just it crashing. As for uninstalling and re-installing gta 4 and mods, I'll back up all mod files, wipe the gta 4 main directory empty, reinstall the game and the latest version of LCPDFR, and then just put back in the mods I backed up, right? I plan on getting/customizing an actual gaming laptop (http://www.xoticpc.com/sager-np8278-clevo-p170sma-p-6984.html) with a GTX 870 graphics card & 6GB video memory by next summer anyway (and Core i7 processor). I would assume that with that laptop GTA would hardly ever crash...

I also notice that every time the game crashes or I decide to exit it, I get an MMA10 or SMP10 (or something like that) error. What could that mean? Maybe there's not enough video card memory or something like that?

So then I could just create a folder in there called "Spark IV" and put all of the files from it from the main directory in that folder, right? I updated the 2 advancedhook.log's and the lcpdfr.log and added in both scripthook.log's. I just reinstalled spark iv in a folder in my program files x86 folder in the 2K games folder (same folder the main gta4 folder is in).

Help with GTA IV acting glitchy and crashing?
I don't play with an ENB. They tend to screw up my game a lot. Every time I have ever put one in I had to re-install the game and every single mod completely because the game would never start. I do have spark iv and simple native trainer. Are there files in there that look like they belong to an ENB? If so, which ones? Also, would it hurt if I tried re-installing the .net framework and visual c++? It can't screw anything up, right? Where else could I install it to? Would it still work or screw anything up?

Help with GTA IV acting glitchy and crashing?
Hello. I just recently did a fresh install of LCPDFR v1.0c yesterday to hopefully fix issues with Wouters/callouts+. I deleted all LCPDFR files and reinstalled it and replaced the settings the way they were again. The game crashed for no reason, so I started it up again and the same thing happened. I was patrolling around during the day (Time: Afternoon, Weather: Sunny) and noticed that it was lagging pretty bad and then immediately following that, the game crashed (same scenario for the second time around). I don't know why it did this, so here are the .log files. I was hoping I could get some help to resolve the error issues in LCPDFR.log and/or the other .log files. Is there maybe an update that I missed for .Net Framework or Microsoft Visual C++ Redist and maybe that's why the game is crashing like this? To the Community Team: Just know that this is unrelated to my last support post about wouters/callouts+ issues. That support thread is now going to be marked as solved. This is a separate issue. I am re-posting the issue here because my most recent support thread in GTA IV support was shut down and I was told that it belonged here. With the wouters/callouts+ issues the game didn't crash, just the plugins crashed. With this post the game itself is crashing just because I'm driving around. Maybe this is caused by my graphics card not being strong enough to handle patrolling at that time of day? Thanks guys for your help. ***P.S.- Every time I play GTA IV I re-post the three updated .log files.*** ScriptHook.log ScriptHookDotNet.log AdvancedHook.log AdvancedHookInit.log LCPDFR.log

I'm having some trouble with my game crashing?
Okay I'll see if I could let them know. But there's nothing that can be done to make it not error/bug out? I'm sure I have everything installed properly. The only thing is that I've never really seen anyone complain about issues with these plugins.

I'm having some trouble with my game crashing?
Hey guys. I've been having some issues with my game crashing. I have wouters callouts and callouts+ plugins installed. I took a look at the lcpdfr.log file, but I don't really understand what it's saying about why the game is crashing. I just need help to resolve these problems so the game doesn't crash anymore. Also for a lot of callouts I get I will get dispatched the call, I hit [Y] (Yes) to accept the callout and then I get "Disregard " or "Crime Scene Cleared". This time I got "Disregard" after I hit [Y] to accept and then the game crashed after that. It never did that before. I installed wouters and callouts+ like a week ago if that helps. I'm sure you'll see everything in the log files that I'll attach, but I just need help to fix these errors causing the game to crash so it doesn't crash anymore. When I run fraps in game and with everything running I average anywhere from 15-20 fps. Let's say I call for an ambulance, firetruck, or backup for like a second it goes down to like 13 or 14 fps. Some important PC specs too: Type: Lenovo G780 17.3" Laptop Processor: Core i7 Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 4000 and NVIDIA GeForce GT 635M Something else that happened is when I was arriving on scene to a call, I meant to turn off the wail siren with the [1] key, but instead I hit the tilde [~] key and got a message that lcpdfr has experienced an error that can cause other problems or something like that and to contact lcpdfr support forum. I've also noticed that I get the same call like two or three times in a row, which I know is probably not supposed to happen. Also in callouts+ the street race call never works either and in wouters sometimes when I try to place a barrier or something it will 'encounter an error' and nothing else with wouters will work. Thanks guys for your time. I'm really trying to hopefully fix these errors so the game doesn't crash a lot, but I just don't know how. LCPDFR.log AdvancedHookInit.log AdvancedHook.log
