Great skins. I have the same texture loss and I think it has to do with the poly size of the model and also the graphics settings. I have a lap top so I put all graphics on low and use low poly cars. There are some models that my pc just can't use.

I have a low end pc so V5 has worked much better. 6 was crashing all the time, especially if i called for noose back up. I use EFLC cause it has more cars. All set to active ELS except police, noose, fire truck, and ambulance. I also try to use the lowest poly cars I can get.

I use Gold wave to convert the wave file from stereo to a PCM Signed 16-Bit, little endian, mono. That might be the problem.

Have you tried Left 4 Liberty? http://www.gta4-mods.com/search/Left%204%20liberty I haven't tried my self, so I don't know if it will work.

I have EFLC and GTA IV, and in my opinion lcpdfr plays better on eflc.

Try putting low poly vehicles in those slots. I was having same issue with the noose, FBI, police patriot, crashing my game cuz my pc is not that great. I went back to ELS v5 and I have low poly cars in most slots. I only have ELS car in the 3 and 4 spot. I do get them from time to time when I call for backup or prisonor transport.

I was a true non-ELS player as well. After watching all those Youtube videos of what ELS looked like, I had recently installed the ELS and have to admit it adds a whole new element to the game. But the first shots fired call I went to and called for NOose, the game crashed. So I disabled the Noose ELS(I kept the ELS car in the file) and it worked. So I think the ELS has something to do with it. This is the first I've heard of the High poly model. How can you tell if a vehicle is high poly or not? I have had a few models that won't spawn when your selecting you car before starting patrol. Thanks for the usful post .
