As the National Guard search Algonquin block by block Marines from the 74th Marine Expeditionary Unit set up a perimeter around the island sealing it off from outsiders. But as night falls things are not as they seem and the check point is quickly over run. The surviving Marines fall back over the bridge into the urban jungle hoping for a way out.. To be Continued... LCPD shot and killed a car full of thieves today after they tore up the streets of Algonquin killing 3 civilians, injuring 8 more and causing over $300,00 damage to public and private property. Just before the thieves were killed they opened fire out of the car windows at the Police and members of the public. The Deputy Police Commissioner released a statement saying "I'm deeply saddened by the tragic events of this afternoon and thankful the Officers pulled the trigger before further bloodshed was caused. Nobody should have to be in fear of this scum terrorizing the streets of Liberty City which is why we are glad to have the best Police Force in the world."

LCPD gear up for a Diplomat Transport from FIB HQ to FIA.

Officer Jenkins was going about his day when he was dispatched to reports of gunshots behind a building off Jade St in Easton. Upon arrival he found two men both obvious gang members at a drug buy gone wrong. One man is identified as a notorious Lost MC member and the other as a Chinese Triad Meth cook. Preliminary reports state they shot each other. The reason yet is unknown. Terry Fox, Weazel News.

Today the LCPD took possession of over 300 new squad cars detailed with a new "black and white" paint job fancied by the LSPD. But that's not the only new addition, Liberty City Police have taken delivery of new uniforms with a white either short sleeve or long sleeve and black pants. Police also have an all new motto which is "Serve, Protect and watch your back!" referring to the recent loss of alarming numbers of officers killed in the line of duty through the troubled Christmas period. This new slogan is aiming for Officers to heed the warning of the Mayor that crime is on the rise and to watch each others backs out on the streets. So far in a recent vote many citizens believe the vehicles and uniforms look very menacing out on the street and some believe criminals have gone into hiding. Terry Fox, Weazle News.
