I've noticed as of late that RPH no longer has a way to back up gta 5 game files to be able to revert after a rockstar update. When i go into settings there is only command line. It used to have command line, back up files and revert. It no longer has back up files and revert. RagePluginHook.log

Ok so I downloaded a BCSO pack that has a CHEVY TAHOE in it. I changed the lods on it all to 500, but it still disappears when you walk away or when it’s driving around at a distance. How can I fix this?

When you’re changing the handling of a vehicle what do they mean when they say to change the last digits from “0.000000” to “-0.3”

Update, I think I found the issue, I installed the outdated spot light, it has been outdated for some time and I believe with the new game update the spotlight plugin really will no longer work on this new build causing it to freeze and crash. When I did the clean install I left that plug in out and so far my game is working fine and running smoothly too.

thanks, i just did a clean re-install and so far everything is working. Not sure bur i think it had to do with me putting LSPDFR folder in plug ins.

I need help, I installed LSPDFR for the new GTA V update, installed some mods and now the game freezes at load up and then crashes to desk top. I added packfile adjuster, heap adjuster, and gameconfig. Did integrity of game files all files verified as well. RagePluginHook.log

Just had a question, with the update of the game I read that windows sees Rage as a virus and won’t launch the game, so to launch Rage we need to turn off AV, but my question is do we have to do this everytime we launch Rage?

Unfortunately you’re right, Rockstar support told me they don’t have technical support for Rage or any of the mods which i understand all too well. I honestly thought the issue was with Steam but it’s not. You do have to launch story mode then invoke the Rage Plugin Hook again. They had fixed that issue and now we’re back to it again. I apologize for my earlier comment but you are correct.

I am having the same issue, do you get the error window to verify Steam client is running? I get that everytime I try to launch GTA5 with Rage. When I launch GTA5 without Rage it loads fine. Been in contact with Steam support in which they say the issue isn’t with them to contact Rockstar which I have and submitted a ticket. We will see what they say.

Uhhhh actually it has been working until just recently. I never had this issue, in fact in the past we had to do that when rank insignia was missing, you had to load story mode then invoke Rage to get the decals, then with the new Update to LSPDFR it was fixed, no more loading story mode first then invoke Rage, now I get the same issue Kingtutuk is having. So there is something else going on now.

Is it possible that somehow Steam has not made it to where you cannot open GTA5 with RagePlugin? When starting game without Rage it loads up fine, when I try to load it with Rage I get the error message VERIFY THAT STEAM CLIENT IS RUNNING. I’ve already updated Steam and still have same issues. Has anyone else had this issue. Any help is appreciated thank you.

Ok, I don’t know where else to post this so forgive me if it’s in the wrong place. I hadn’t played GTA5 I a while with the LSPDFR mods. The other day I tried and kept getting an error message from Steam about it failed to initiate and to make sure the Steam client was running. I updated Steam and I believed Steam client was running. Tried to start up GTA5 again same error message. I tried everything to no avail so I deleted Steam and reinstalled it. And of course after that I had to reinstall GTA5 again. After that was done I started to install LSPDFR and it was working great until while doing some modding I screwed up a file in Open iv and game would crash at start up every time. I tried to fix it to no avail. So I decided to start from scratch, now I keep getting the same error from Steam again. I tried deleting and reinstalling everything and now I keep getting that message. Is anyone else having this issue. Thanks

When in game with certain vehicles, when you walk away the vehicle vanishes. When you approach the vehicle again it reappears. So I found the lod for police2 which is the ford explorer LAPD. When I went into open iv, and into vehicles.meta to insert the lines for that police vehicles, something happened and when I try to save it it says XML parsons error at line 36216, col 9 End tag ‘txdRelationships’ does not match the start tag ‘firstPersonDrivebyData’ I am on my iPhone I don’t know how to submit files on phone or laptop from the open iv vehicles.meta. And if this is in the wrong place please let me know. Any help is appreciated I can’t play the game with this XML like this. Thanks

I’ve done that twice but for some reason when I do it deletes most of my plugins and mods I have in game. I lose my vehicles, guns, sirens, EUP. I have to reload them back in. What’s funny is I still have certain plugins though like simple trainer, police radio, compulite and grammar police. Unless I’m doing it wrong.

Ok I’m experiencing this issue again where I’m on a call and the peds involved and vehicles just disappear. Like making an arrest then the ped disappears and the vehicle they were in. I can’t do a search of the vehicle or finish the call out. It’s getting frustrating.

Yeah I was able to get it and my windows defender told me I had no viruses or threats on my pc. So I’m good now. Thank you

Ok I didn’t realize I had to click on the link you posted on here. I did and was able to get it after fighting with my McAfee that it is a virus. Lol but did a scan on my computer with windows security and there is no threats found.
