GTA V freezes and crashes to desk top

Featured Replies

I need help, I installed LSPDFR for the new GTA V update, installed some

mods and now the game freezes at load up and then crashes to desk top.

I added packfile adjuster, heap adjuster, and gameconfig. Did integrity of game files all files verified as well.

Try disabling the mods folder by renaming it to _mods. If that works, you'll need to review the mods you've installed as one of them is probably causing this.

If you're interested, you can also remake your mods folder from scratch and install the mods again and making sure to always write down what you're installing and where the files are being installed - that way you can easily find the reason for the crashes.

Update, I think I found the issue, I installed the outdated spot light, it has been outdated for some time and I believe with the new game update the spotlight plugin really will no longer work on this new build causing it to freeze and crash. When I did the clean install I left that plug in out and so far my game is working fine and running smoothly too.
