WASHINGTON (AP) — The White House on Thursday announced a proposal that President Barack Obama said would make community college "free for everybody who is willing to work for it." But administration officials provided no details about the program's costs or where the money would come to pay for it. Obama planned to formally announce the plan Friday at Pellissippi State Community College in Knoxville, Tennessee. He gave a preview in a videotaped message shot aboard Air Force One and posted on Facebook. "It's not just for kids," Obama said. "We also have to make sure that everybody has the opportunity to constantly train themselves for better jobs, better wages, better benefits." Here we go again...Another one this morning. I hope that this is it and everyone will calm down. I cant help but have a copycat feeling for America somewhere.

R.I.P. to the 12 that lost their lives today. It was a tragic thing to hear about this morning. That video just shows that the humanity in some people was never there to begin with. It seemed as if he was begging for mercy and the guy never even looked at him when he shot him point blank. He was running around like he had just tagged someone in paintball or lazertag. These things make me just really upset about the way people live and how the world is running. Where is the justice, what causes are helped when people are killed?

Those who are doing nothing wrong, generally dont have ANY issues with police officers. Its when others start to rile up other people for their cause that anything is directed at the police. If there was no big uproar in Ferguson does anyone really think it would have happened in all these other states and cities too? Those who continue to follow the law and do good are generally not going to be messed with, and typically support the police. Typically when I see people talking bad about the police and stuff, they either A) Joined a following or B) Love breaking the law and have problems with authority in the first place, whether it be a teacher, a parent or any other authoritative figure. *Sigh* ....

This is getting ridiculous. It actually already was ridiculous. Shooting cops for any reason is just...unspeakable. Hope the cops survive and they catch whoever was involved and whoever is harboring these fugitives. I guess the two cars mandate was lifted?

I love the crash reset feature. Most of the times it even puts me back in the car I was driving! All I have to do is re-turn on the trainer and its like I never crashed. Great feature! I am loving 1.0d Only gripe really is the partner follow in vehicle lol

Yeah, I saw this on my feed as well. This one and the $100 dollar stops one. The people were amazed lol. This is the type of interactions police needs with the public more often. This probably does happen a lot more than people realize but all you hear on the news or see on Facebook are negative encounters. If that's all you saw about someone but knew them personally to be a great person, then the public would know no different and it would be frustrating.

Gosh while this page loaded I was hoping it wasn't going to complete what I thought it was. Then, It did. Not only am I HIGHLY disappointed, but it just goes to show that we are indeed going backwards. If this law (I did not read the articles) allows for the EMT to make that judgement who is to say the EMT wont refuse to treat straight people because they were wearing PINK or something. Its sad, and I am sure if the legislators were put in that same position where an EMT had to determine if they were gay or lesbian it would be hurtful to them.

Agreed. Makes it seem more like you are in control of your own patrol in a way. With a partner, they may tell you to pull up somewhere or may pull up somewhere (if your the passenger) and it can be a little bit like your along for the ride.

Yes same here in my neck of the woods. Sheriff's and Police ride alone, however backup would not be that far away as if we were countryside or remote. Only in big cities like D.C. have I really seen two man patrols. Atlanta is not one of those cities.

I just despise double standards with an absolute passion. Forget violence against women, men, or children. No one cares about the violence to people in general. In my opinion if you were ever going to boycott something or ban something do it for general human violence, not because one race, or sex is offended. Heck I dont care about the violence, I know its not something that would influence me to go out and be a mass murderer. Why arent these people boycotting movies, and TV shows that have dead women in them? Stuff like this, grinds my gears.
