I'll break up this review into numbered points to create ease for members to understand why I reviewed it this way. 1.) Easy installation instructions (Several videos provided on all his products) 2.) Thorough knowledge when describing the modifications, in the ways they work and what their purpose is. 3.) FiveM Compatability and Singleplayer for both worlds, all said and done ready to be installed. 4.) Active Discord to ask for advice and help if need be, quick and speedy response. 5.) Adds a nice touch to the County, this stops AI from driving like asshats in a 50mph zone.
  1. I like the callouts, the one that I would like to see a bit of a change is the Meth Lab callout. You get called out for an explosion and it only happens when you arrive, instead, it should be a Code 2 response, (reports of somebody using an RV as a drug lab) set a timer for the explosion, if you take too long boom code 3 response, if you respond in-time you get to arrest the subject or put out a fire instead of every time you arrive on scene it blows up. Otherwise, the rest of the callouts are quite enjoyable. Thanks for the callout pack.
  2. I really like the knockdown for your player on a near fatal shot, I just wish it would leave you down and need to call for medic, flag you as "invisible" so NPCs don't keep shooting you and then leave you in a ragdoll until Medics arrive and give you a med kit... I know when you're dead you're dead, this is just something I'd really like to see.
  3. Sounds like you're going to have to redo the mods folder, only do a couple modifications at a time otherwise it's a lot harder to pin-point what is causing the issue. Also make sure you read the README 100%, don't skip over things, the developer will know how to install their own mod/plugin/script better than you or I.
  4. Let's start with posting your RagePluginHook.log located in your main Grand Theft Auto V directory. Let me know which car pack you're trying to install. Most likely you've done it wrong, to be 100% sure it's a mods folder error, you can rename your mods folder to "_mods" excluding it from loading into the game, so you can test if it runs without mods. (This is not a fix, just a diagnosis for your mods folder)
Works great for me, definitely had to change the wheel centering speed, I ended up driving way worse at the beginning with it on, but now I'm getting the hang of it, a lot smoother once you ditch the old way of driving.
  5. Kein problem, haben Sie guten Tag.
  6. Yeah you need to select the chat option to make it happen, as for holding shift it may have just been an additional option in one of the outdated plugins like Traffic Policer or Arrest Manager, I do remember using it, but I don't remember what from then, sorry. This was the only other alternative I found.
  7. https://www.lcpdfr.com/downloads/gta5mods/scripts/26576-megaphone-ui-lspdfr-plugin-version-220/ I'm pretty sure this is the one you're talking about, you can demand them to pull over and it has a chance to work. Like if it helped
  8. RagePluginHook "hooks" onto Grand Theft Auto V. It can be done at any stage of the application, people with Natural Visions Evolved know that you can't launch RPH to start your game, you have to load Grand Theft Auto V first, wait for the legal crap to pass, then launch RagePluginHook, in some cases you can wait until you're logged into the story mode, and then once in launch RagePluginHook, use F4 for console and type "reloadallplugins" (if you have multiple plugins) or just type "loadplugin LSPD First Response.dll" Let me know if that works for you. Though if your problems persists and you haven't added very many things, I'd suggest reinstalling LSPDFR and make sure it's done correctly.
  9. As you've figured out renaming your mods folder only omits it, so it won't be loaded into the game. The reason it wasn't working was because something was input incorrectly into that folder. You need to go back and make sure every modification you added was done correctly, I would suggest deleting the mod folder, then copying Update and x64 folders into the mods folder and add the file modifications one by one and try to see if it runs. Rinse and repeat until you're content with the amount of modifications you have. If the comment helps, like it please!
  10. Remove Chill Callouts, it has a dependency for Traffic Policer which is an old callout. That should fix the random event that crashed your LSPDFR and wouldn't load back in when you used "forceduty"
  11. Sometimes I have this issue with continuous loading screen, I work around it by launching GTA V first, then launching RagePluginHook after I'm in-game. It seems to do the trick, as for why it's happening. I don't have a solid answer for you. Maybe once you load into it for the first time it'll fix the issue.
  12. You may want to include your RagePluginHook.log instead of the crash report.
Hands down my favorite vehicle interaction modification! Every other version of vehicle actions I find are too complicated. Plus I like holding F makes you close the door and pressing it leaves it open. That's the best thing right there.
Very cool outfit variations, this saves a lot of time having to customize the Ultimate Backup to have their own EUP. Huge time saver for those who are looking to put detailed customization into their LSPDFR games. Glad to see this modification is still being updated. Keep up the great work @TreadRed!
Great little modification to add a little more realism to your GrammarPolice without having to add the codes yourself. Can be 5 stars with more codes added, otherwise very well done.
  13. If you need help come over to https://discord.gg/s9EvxBaHKb we can help ya out, Right @YobB1n?
  14. Never saw any comments about the callipers moving with the wheel instead of being stationary, only other thing is the vehicle is colored through the ytd so you can't customize the color in-game. Otherwise looks good.
  15. Yeah it's a known bug @Skenda working on getting it fixed for next update. It wasn't found out until the file was up for review that the "Fix" didn't actually fix it. New update is aiming for Friday I believe.
To sum it up, this callout pack is not complete as @maxplayle04 has made clear to me, so it's current status is what I'll be reviewing. The main thing that impressed me was that I played with this callout pack for nearly an hour and, even though it's still under development, I never ran into any crashes. It goes to show that the effort put into each callout was higher than the average person; and tested previously to ensure stability. I did find in the long run that most of the scenarios in the video ended in pursuits. Max told me that three possible scenarios occur, the first being the suspect flees, the second being the suspect resists with violence, and thirdly being the suspect gives up. So, with each scenario, I rolled the same outcomes each time. At the end of the video, you'll see that the suspect of the "Unarmed Robbery" stays in the store and becomes glitched. Immediately after I concluded the video, I tried this encounter three more times every time, and it worked without issue. Just like any plugin, there will always be problems; I am just glad for this callout pack problem was not a crash. Long story long, it's an enjoyable callout to use; I highly recommend it. Thank you for taking the time to read this review, and I hope it helped decide if this callout was for you. I test multiple callouts before making a video on them over on Twitch.tv/palfy205 if you want to come to check it out sometime, please feel free. I've recently come to edit my review, I've seen this product from it's early beginnings and I want to say my opinion has changed from a 4 star to a 5 star. The dedication that Max has shown proves to me that he is eager to make this callout perfect. There has been loads of patches, quick fixes and discussions. I'm happy with the result that's come out the other side.
  16. @waynieoaksIt's an issue with the cars model.
Oh, my folks! We finally have a mod developer who is interested in what we have to say! As mentioned in the "Removing 4K Textures.txt 'As of 2020, I've decided to add a feature using GTA's original system. I know some people have trouble with using 4k textures in their modded games, and I understand that. So this document is to show you how all the packs post 2020 (vehicle packs only) you can choose between 2k and 4k textures.'" This is amazing, I've been waiting for people to stop putting their stupid 4k gun textures inside the vehicle, which take up nearly 5mbs of space, and their total file size is over 30mb for a ytd. Didn't realize that the ram bars didn't have contact, the liveries are not transparent for vehicle color to change shade/reflectiveness and some of the vehicles ytd are too big. Good try though.
