  1. A bit of info before question. I have LSPDFR 0.4.2 set to startup once I run Ragehook. So I don't have the hit "F4" and go through the console commands. So I watched a video on how to install Police Smart Radio, and followed each step correctly. The first time I started the game everything was loading alright. Got to where show the little dialog box on the bottom that says "Loaded new console commands" or whatever it says, then I got the message "LSPD First Response.dll has crashed" causing the infinite loading screen. So I was able to get out of GTA and reloaded the game again. This time it loaded perfectly fine *started me off duty*... so I went the to the police station and went on duty only to have LSPDFR load the immediately crash, it said "You are using an older version of Police Smart Radio.dll" -- I made sure that I downloaded the "latest" version 1.2.0.0. Do we have to wait for the creator to update Police Smart Radio? Or should it work?
  2. So far I am very impressed. I am currently using the 2016 Impala and the 2013 Tahoe. I will also use the others and let you know what I think. I did notice though, that the Tahoe drives like its on ice. Is there anyway to change that? I did change the sheriff2 (which is the slot the Tahoe is in) handling line to gresley so it wouldn't flip over, could that be the issue with the sliding?
  3. Is it possible to run license plates without Police SmartRadio? It never seems to work properly for me, so I just removed it. Thanks for all your help.
  4. This is a very minor issue, however sometimes when I try to pull someone over and they start to run it says "Hold R [Right Thumb Stick] to start pursuit"... I hold the button down and nothing happens. Is there a secondary button I could try and press?
  5. Hello. So when I hold down the letter "G" outside my police car to turn off the siren it will also bring up one of the StopThePed which allows you to search/tow the car. I looked inside the StopThePed.ini file and couldn't find where I could change the "G" button for that menu. When I look inside the ELS.ini file it's a bunch of codes. I looked inside all the document files that came with the ELS.rar and i can't seem to locate a "decoder" if you will. So I was hoping one of you fine people know what the code is to change G to possibly "H" or maybe is there a website that will show me the code to its corresponding letter. Thank you so much.
  6. Note: I have no idea why this is marked as "Spoiler" but I can't seem remove it.. just click "Reveal Hidden Contents" for instructions
  7. At first my red lights were yellow, after doing a bit of research I upped my Shader settings to High and my Post FX settings to Very High, it made the red lights a bit more red, however they are still a bit on the orange-ish side. Is there a way to make them appear like they do in the screenshots? Note: I am currently using this LSPD Mini Pack:
  8. You're welcome. Hope everything works out for you. The "mods" folder is there if you want to install cars using "OpenIV", which allows you to replace cars safely. -- You may need to create a "Scripts" folder if you wish the add things such as a speedometer. Most other stuff is either placed inside the LSPDFR folder or the Plugins folder, 99% of the content you may want to add comes with some sort of installation instructions, if not a simple search on YouTube will do just fine.
  9. It's called "Player Location Display". You can find it here: https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/player-location-display-v3-50 And as for instructions to install ELS watch this video:
  10. Solved: I just added Radiance V. Original Question: I love the ELS lights, but to get the full effect I am going my policing at night, because during the day there are very faint. I've seen LSPDFR videos and the ELS looks a lot brighter then mine. Is there a way to brighten them up with a mod or changing an .ini file?
  11. Where is the vehicles.meta located? All I do is move the 3 (sometimes 4) police files over... I've never really looked into the other folders.
  12. So every time I try and use an FPIU (Explorer or whatever) when driving semi-fast they always flip over... I've tried different vehicle packs (that include FPIU ), put the FPIU in police, police2, or police3.. and all it does is flip. Some sedans even flip.. but not as often as SUV's. Is there a mod that can fix the handling? Am i doing something wrong?
  13. I'll check that out. Thanks a lot. 👍 WORKED! Thank you very much!
  14. It's very normal to lose FPS when playing LSPDFR. You lose more with the more callouts and mods. I only get between 36 to 52. I'd normally get anywhere between 60 to 100 in normal GTA.
  15. I have Simple Trainer installed which does have the ability to use turn signals, however the buttons mapped for the turn signals are the same as some others on LSPDFR. I was wondering if there was a mod that allows me to have turn signals.
  16. Just remove them out of the folder and see what happens. But the more the mods and callouts the funner the LSPDFR becomes. So if I have to sacrifice my FPS so be it.
  17. Did you put the .xml files into the ELS folder (located inside the GTA main directory)? For example... you need to place police2.xml inside the folder within the ELS folder otherwise nothing will work.
  18. I already fixed it. By updating and another one of his mods I forgot to add the audio files... all is working good now.
  19. Yep.. very common. When playing LSPDFR with mods and callouts I get between 30 and 46FPS, at times it will drop under 20..... that's when LSPDFR usually crashes out.
  20. This is a very common bug.... I've seen it a lot of LSPDFR videos in the past.
  21. So I changed my call sign from 1-Lincoln-18 to 1-Adam-20, within the myOfficer.ini file but when dispatch calls me with a report they still refer to me as 1-Lincoln-18, but if I accept the call they will refer to me as 1-Adam-20... so I'd there another .ini file I need to edit so dispatch will always refer to me as 1-Adam-20?
  22. Hands down one of my favourite undercover trucks yet. Great Job!
  23. Nevermind I got it to work... turns out I never placed the audio files in the scanner folder.
