  1. Mine too. Won't start. Just sits at launching game window screen. Doesn't create log either. Earlier, mine would launch but once in game after like 2 minutes it would crash to desktop. I can start mine by the gta.exe but not rage
  2. So just recently, over the last 10 minutes or so, GTA5 keeps crashing. Every other time it will crash upon load and I hit retry and it goes thru. Then once I am in game for a few minutes, it crashes and gives me the error GTA5 has crashed. It produced a crash report I can not open I have noticed recently that when I spawn in the game, with Franklin, my current starting character, he is equipped with a Combat Pistol. Previously it had 3/33 for ammo. 33 in extended clip and 3 leftover rounds. OH, it also spawned automatically with extended clip. Anyways, now it is spawning with 1/12 12 in the clip and 1 extra round. No idea why. Recently I ahve been looking over the weapons loadouts and such but this shouldnt make the game crash. Any ideas?

  3. r u trying to change the tint because its black? usually the tint value effects the lightbars and thats what most people are asking about. <diffuseTint value="0x00FFFFFF" /> The actual location is in the vehicle.meta
  4. As I dig deeper into modding and creating stuff i always run into something that confuses me. I am currently working on weapons.meta, loadouts.meta and dispatch.meta I am trying to find out what the following values do and I have broke Google trying to find out. What are AmmoMax, AmmoMax50 and AmmoMax100? thanks for the input

  6. Recently I have been working on a police heli mod that tracks the ped but doesn't fire on them. It goes alone with my other mods, realistic ammo n realistic weapon wheel. So I have fir Ed GTA to spawn the buzzard instead of the polmav n I can reduce the amount of ped spawn in the heli down to 1. I've noticed it doesn't spawn sometimes, whether it's my error or just the game be funky. Also I modified the heli pilot to only have a pistol with no ammo. After it stopped spawning I add a total of 3 peds to it n started spawning again. So then I created a ped load out based upon swat_01 named swat_helo with no weapons. Hello spawned just fine but everyone had a pistol n could shoot. So the game is pulling this info from another file Somewhere. I'm using the newest patchday update. Mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/ai or somewhere in there. Sorry not at my computer. Where else could the game be pulling a ped or ped load out from besides here?

  10. after it crashed, I restarted and went just fine. I didn't start another police chase yet though. I updated my gameconfig because the instructions for modding dlc pack said I needed a different version to run properly. I found one here https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/enhanced-gameconfig-for-latest-high-end-pc but now I am getting OUT OF MEMORY ERROR
  11. So i am on a new install of everything and was testing things out and after about 15 minutes or so rage plugin crashed. I was looking over the log and couldn't find anything. (by everything, I mean, Fresh install of GTA5, Fresh install of LSPDFR 4.2, ELS, Rage, Scipthook, ScripthookV, Etc. Can someone look at this and see what I am missing. Thanks RagePluginHook.log
  12. So, I have the buzzard now spawning in replace of the PolMav and so far, it doesnt shoot at u, just gives chase and reports your where abouts.. Still working on other things to improve this

I understand your point, but here in dispatch.meta <Item> <DispatchType>DT_SwatHelicopter</DispatchType> <NumPedsToSpawn value="5"/> <DispatchVehicleSets> <Dispatch>ARMY_HELI</Dispatch> </DispatchVehicleSets> </Item> U can adjust the pedspawn and reduce how many spawn in either the police heli or swat heli and It works because I have been beta testing it. My main question above was with the the police_heli model set, it shows Buzzard and then down a few line PolMav. Both are different choppers. I was just wondering if they r using Buzzard as a name of sorts because PolMav is actual a model. Thanks for responding and input
  14. So, i am in the process of revamping my wanted levels and adjusting responses. I started searching for PoliceHeli and came across it in the VehicleModelSets.meta I found it because as I was re-writting stuff in the loadouts.meta I saw the entry for vehiclemodelsets. So when i went searching for that, I found the heli. My question is basically this. The PoliceHeli entry for vehicleModelSet is this: While it does say BUZZARD2, a bit further down it says PolMav. Buzzard2 to my understanding is a armed chopper. https://gta.fandom.com/wiki/Buzzard_Attack_Chopper PolMav is a Police/Medical Chopper https://gta.fandom.com/wiki/Police_Maverick Is Buzzard2 just a name given to this item and not it's spawn name? Because Buzzard is a Unarmed Helo https://gta.fandom.com/wiki/Buzzard you would think more suitable for police helicopter patrols. My idea is to change the police heli to Buzzard and reduce the number of peds spawning in it to 1, so no police can shoot from it. So what do i change? PolMav to Buzzard? I am also looking at adding a News Helo that will spawn at wanted level 2 and above, using PolMav, like the Medical helo uses Polmav just with a different livery. Ideas? Suggestions? I am also working along with this for new weapon icon wheel reflecting the real weapons the ingame weapons are modeled after and setting realistic ammo loads.
  15. I understand what u are saying but... I am writting my own meta for ammo. I want all the peds, me, police, gangs, etc to have this set value. I am going thru it now but those number above confused me. AmmoMax, AmmoMax50, AmmoMax50mp. Like I said the mp is Multiplayer just dont know what ammomax50 is since you write a value after it. Also trying to get my ammo count right and extended clip ammo right. I am using the figure from the GTA5 wiki site to make sure all weapons are accurate. I am also working on the heli fix for no snipers at wanted levels 1-3 and trying to spawn a news heli at level 1-3 to chase u as a news helo would do.
  16. Yes because that's what I'm trying to do. It's just the above numbers confuse me. Ammomax50, ammomax50mp, etc assuming mp is multiplayer. The only one I should b changing is AmmoMax, correct?
  17. What do these numbers mean? I'm trying to set realistic ammo but like where it says ammomax value=250 Or ammomax50mp What r these values? I'm using a Glock 17 as my combat pistol. It holds 17 rounds. I'm thinking average person has atleast 3-4 mags. That's 68 rounds
  18. I add a vehicle to police slot and started gta5. No problem, it spawned just fine. So, doing everything right, i add the other three and now none of them won't spawn. even placed one in police5 and still nothing. Police5 says Invalid Model I added carvations data and vehicle meta to both regular vehicles and addon vehicle area. Also, i was running 3d satellite map/radar and after installing the vehicles, that is not even loading. Any ideas? Usually i figure its a carvation or vehicle meta not correct, but I went back and double checked, tried it, nothing. Erased it and created a new one from Modding DLC pack and still nothing.

  20. It's your carvations.meta That's what controls your car spawn colors. Copy the lines for one of your vehicles n pm me with it n I'll look at it
  21. Ok, so I have a modded version of GTA for my lspdfr stuff n a vanilla version. My openiv opens my lspdfr modded copy. All well n good. I'm starting to set up for some criminal videos n keep getting the game ran out of memory error, even though I have 32gb of ram. So I was thinking about making a modded copy for my criminal video. No lspdfr, but some addon cars, clothes, scripts for robbing, etc. How can I do this n point openiv to this version of GTA when I just want to modify it? Cause I ran my vanilla version earlier n it still had my peds n cars from my modded gta Solved: instead of running two copies of OpenIV, make two copies of the mod folder n interchange them as needed. Openiv only reads from whatever mods folder is present. I created one I keep on my desktop strictly for lspdfr n I have one mods folder for my criminal videos n I change them out as I need to. No issues
