Another great mod that adds that missing piece of immersion. I often play a plain clothes detective and found this to be the perfect addition for when I want a partner. Great job!

My guy wears this from EUP. It didn't matter where I called the detective backup from, they only wore the sheriff badge.

Great idea. I often play as a plain clothes detective and find that my partner options are limited. Quick question; how do I get these units in the game? I've installed correctly as per instructions, however they never show up and I can't find a way to call them directly. Please disregard. They arrived. I'll test it out and review shortly! If I was going to be picky, I'd point out that the detectives wear sheriff badges, not detective badges.

Keeping you busy. Two more issues today: 1. You cannot issue a citation to a ped driving a vehicle without getting them out first. If you do, you will become locked in the animation and are forced to cheat to escape. 2. Interaction+ has no effect on drivers of the Brute Dashound Coach. I tried both sides of the vehicle, standing on my vehicle etc. In the end I had to force them out at gun point. ***EDIT*** 3. Having arrested a ped and calling for transport and then immediately creating an arrest report occasional causes no court case to be assigned. This also locks out the Interaction+ menu and forces a total restart.

I use "DPadUp" and "A" for traffic stops. I also have my radio bound to DPadUp but with a holding rule (so it will only work if I hold it for X amount of time.) DPadUp otherwise only functions in menus (as is intended) or works for other things with other modifiers (i.e I use it in ELS AS WELL.) That frees A to be used for menu selections etc without cancelling the traffic stop. My LSPDFR Config.txt

Ah, fair enough. Mine is default but with a modifier of "LShiftKey". I think most of my keys have been changed as I use a controller anyway.

It's right at the top of the .ini. You have to select the computer via that menu - I don't think there is a keybind specifically to access the computer and bypass the menu: //Default=T MenuKey=T //Default=None MenuModifier=None

Tried it for the sake of trying. Clear instructions (which was a nice change), does what it says it does. For me however, it seemed quicker just to hit a keyboard button or two than it was to find what I wanted on my phone or tablet (and this from a controller player.) I've used similar apps for other games but found this one a little unnecessary. Still, good app for what it is. Give it a go if you want to try. 4/5* (One star deducted for plain interface and the use of large bright white spaces in the app.)

For example: - Initiate a traffic stop. - Suspect flees. - Suspect surrenders. - Arrest suspect via LSPDR default arrest action. - Perform pat down of suspect via STP's menu. - Search suspect's vehicle via STP's menu. - Enter patrol vehicle and view Interaction+ lite computer system. Noted that both the suspect's name and vehicle are registered. - Check vehicle details. - Leave patrol vehicle to check something. - Return to patrol vehicle to assign arrest charges but can only view suspect's vehicle. - Perform a pat down again to regain information however this fails to update the system. - Forced to ask suspect for ID to continue with a charge. I didn't notice this issue before.

I've been working on updating the Charge and Citations lists for Interaction+ myself to fit with my lore-friendly search items mod, but its not quite finished yet. Still trying to locate a few penal codes here and there. Thank you for doing this. It will give me something to use in-game until mine is complete. Computer+ crashes for a lot of people though. The great thing about Interaction+'s menu over the GUI system of Computer+ is that it doesn't crash. As has been said, there are plenty of Computer+ charge and citations updates out there. No reason to integrate a working mod with a broken mod.

Sorry I've only just replied - mod was waiting approval so comments were locked out (thanks for the update BTW.) I see the new update potentially fixes this (thanks again) however yes, I only experienced it the once and that was after an hour or so of game play. I don't really understand your issue aside from mod conflicts with your .ini settings? I also use a controller and had massive issues getting everything to work together correctly. My recommendation is to use StopThePed and Interaction+ rather than LSPDFR+. You can approach the vehicle and gain obs via Interaction+, ask for ID via Interaction+, run PedCheck via radio or from your vehicle using Interaction+'s lite computer system, order the suspect out of the car using Interaction+ and interact with the suspect using STP (which has an arrest function.) You can still use vanilla arrest for cuffing suspects in circumstances where it's required. I personally no longer have frisk assigned as I use STP's search function by default. This has minimal controller configuration when setup carefully and stops unnecessary/duplicate functions from other mods conflicting. Of course, do whatever works best for you 🙂

Interaction+ thread cancelled due to "Interaction+ Trace: 13." Hopefully Phaxol can comment on this.

Thinking about it, I had this happen to me last night. Interaction+ stopped working after I completed a traffic stop and the interaction menu (vanillia) had gone from blue/white to grey/white. Everything else worked as normal however. Do you have the Rage log? (Found in Grand Theft Auto V\Logs )

For STP: Grand Theft Auto V\plugins\LSPDFR\StopThePed - There are three .XML files here. For SW: Grand Theft Auto V\plugins\LSPDFR\Search Warrant - There are three .XML filese here. If you're trying to add to them rather than replace them, open them with notepad (or similar) and copy any lines across. Make sure you place them in the correct section and that the tags all line up (i.e <Item> </Item>) JBuzz826: I'll have a look and try a few bits out. Could work. I'm sure however, pre-Interaction+, standing at the rear of the vehicle and pressing E/RightDPad wouldn't instruct the ped to get out.

I'm off to bed in a minute, but I've bookmarked this and will check it out tomorrow. Looks like a lot of work went into this! How is it on FPS? Those trees look demanding...

Which do you use: Search Warrant, StopThePed or both? You can edit the corresponding .XML lists for these mods to change what items you find on a search. I've posted a mini-mod for just this recently (won't post a link here though.)

I've enjoyed using this mod the past few weeks, however due to constant flickering, crashes and the unaligned text (making some fields hard to fill out) I've been forced to uninstall it. I've switched to Interaction+ and found that the lite computer system it provides offers a similar experience. A great idea, implemented well. Sadly unusable for an extended period in it's current state.

Are you looking in Grand Theft Auto V\Logs?

Thanks for the update Phaxol. - I've had no crashes myself with 2.2.0. - The court system works great. Simple yet effective. I can now uninstall the unfortunately buggy LSPDFR+ which I've only kept for the court system. - The lite computer system is nice however I do miss the tablet function that comes with Computer+ - any chance of seeing something similar implemented here? Would be nice to remove Computer+ altogether. - I believe you mentioned that not being able to issue citations/charges from inside our vehicle is an intended feature? Is there any chance of that being changed so we can? - Two issues so far: 1. I think it's already been reported, however suspects placed in your vehicle exit when storing evidence. 2. Nine drivers out of ten seem to be high 😕
