Yard1 got a reaction fromDeactivated Memberfor a file, Better Police Weapon LoadoutsBetter Police Weapon Loadouts is a modification of the loadouts.meta file responsible for controlling ped weapons loadouts. I have made the following changes to increase realism and variety:
Cops have limited ammo in their primary weapons - 180 rounds in carbines and MP5s, 64 rounds in shotguns. Pistols have unlimited ammo.
All police shotguns, MP5s and carbines have flashligths. Cops and Shotgun SWAT (they use the same loadout) have 75% chance to get the normal Pistol and 25% to get the Combat Pistol and then a 50% chance to get a flashlight on their pistol. Shotgun Cops have 10% chance to spawn with the carbine instead of the shotgun. SWAT has Heavy Pistols with flashlights as their sidearms. SWAT has 15% chance to get a MP5, 42.5% chance to get a carbine and 42.5% chance to get a carbine with a scope. Soldiers get Heavy Pistols, carbines with flashlights, scopes and gripes and a 25% chance of a Combat MG with a scope. All cops and SWAT get nightsticks and soldiers get knifes. --------------------------------------
Installation:
Install with OpenIV to update.rpf/common/data/ai. This will prevent you from playing online, so make backups (I'd make a backup of the entire update.rpf to be sure). Also, if there is an update, you'll have to install this again.

Yard1 got a reaction from TheCanadianDream for a file, Vapid Stanier Mapped SAHP-StyleThis is a Vapid Stanier (police) mapped by LtMattJeter ( http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/8341-dev-templated-stanier/ ), and a lighting setup similar (it's not exactly the same due to game limitations and my personal preferences) the one used by California Highway Patrol, with both custom made LED lightbar (made out of default parts) inspired by Whelen Liberty and a recolored GTA IV Vector lightbar.
Due to game limitations, only the Vector lightbar has working takedowns. To turn them on, press H, just like you would to turn on high beams.
To simplyfy instalation this mod requires you to install Netman's SAHP Added cars (https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/sahp-added-cars , also found in Law Enforcement Improvements), and replace his Stanier with mine.

Yard1 got a reaction fromDeactivated Memberfor a file, HVY Insurgent Mapped Default-StyleThis is a HVY Insurgent (insurgent2) model, UV-mapped to support liveries and outfitted with similar light setup found on Brute Riot (riot).
This is an added vehicle, not a replacement. Text files compatible with Realism Dispatch Enhanced 1.2 are included. All changes made by me are marked by "ADDED BY HVY INSURGENT MAPPED DEFAULT-STYLE MOD BY YARD1" comment.
If you wish for it to spawn during wanted levels, set it in dispatch.meta to either roadblocks or POLICE_CAR. SWAT_JEEP will spawn empty cars.
Included in the archive are 3 skins - NOOSE TRU, LSPD SWAT and LSSD BEAT. By default, High Quality (4096x4096) liveries are placed in policeinsurgent+hi.ytd (spawning only when player is close) and Standard Quality (2048x2048) in policeinsurgent.ytd - this allows for optimal performance and minimal quality loss. If using High Quality (4096x4096) liveries causes performance problems (it really shouldn't), consider using Standard Quality (2048x2048) versions in policeinsurgent+hi.ytd.

Yard1 got a reaction from LRayM14 for a file, LSSD SWAT ModLSSD SWAT mod is a modification that adds new, Los Santos Sheriff Department SWAT officers. They will spawn in the countryside, alongside other sheriff units. The original LSPD/NOOSE SWAT officers will still spawn in the city.
This mod is incompatible with any mod that changes either peds.meta (from Heists DLC) or dispatch.meta. You can easily make a compatible version - just search for "ADDED BY LSSD SWAT MOD BY YARD1" and copy the data to the file you wish to make it compatible with.
dispatch.meta files compatible with LSSD Maverick Mod (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!), Crime and Police Rebalance & Enhancement v1.372, and 1.4 and Better Wanted Level System Police Spawning 2.2.2 are included.
