trouble is...I forgot to make a backup of the file (I know this is entirely my fault) is there a way of reinstalling only the sounds if that makes sense, not the whole game or something?

Good evening all, I'm trying to replace a siren pack I have installed with a retro type siren, however, when I follow the same steps as before, the siren can't be replaced by the one i'm currently using. Is there a way of deleting the current .awc files or resident.rpf in openiv?

so sorry to keep coming back on here and asking questions but my game is crashing on startup with a "failed to initialize backup template" what have I done wrong? retro_nypd is the name of one vehicle and nopd is the name of the other agency.xml backup.xml

How would you add a add-on vehicle in the backup area and generally patrolling around, bit confused with the files?

Yeah pretty much, the only way to drive the retro pack is by going into simple trainer and spawning manually, the default police cars remain the same.
