Yeah it should be working fine. What you can do is try adding that specific keys.ini file to the exceptions list for your anti-virus. Then restart your PC and test again. See if it registers the keybinds properly.

Can you screenshot the whole window of the file location in which you are editing?

If you have a mods folder, rename it to _mods and then test the game w/ RagePluginHook.

That means that one of the xml files in the lspdfr folder in the Main Directory was edited incorrectly. Either revert any recent changes you made or re-install the default xml.

If that isnt changing it, it could stem from a lighting mod that you installed.

If you lower the value, it will lower the brightness. The recommended settings are: car.defaultlight.day.emissive.on 1700.00 car.defaultlight.night.emissive.on 1100.00

Something to keep in mind, scripts are very finnicky to get working. For some users, they will work fine, and others they simply won't. Heck, they might not work one game instance and then you reload the game and it works on the next instance. There isn't really a definitive fix beyond ensuring you have the requirements.

Rename the mods folder to _mods and try again.

Then you can go to the default vehicles.meta and change the HandlingID to be a heavier or lighter vehicle.
