I will start this off by saying that I started here way later than you just like JBin (2018). So my point of view will be from that time period onward. I will say that yes, it does feel like modders are moving on. Each for their own reasons. Whether it be irl stuff, other stuff, or just them not being happy with how LSPDFR handles things. It is a shame that such great modders have moved on, but hopefully new modders will step up and take the place to give us an even more in-depth future for modding. As for Albo, he just had real life stuff to deal with and he couldn't put anymore time into updating. Luckily, we have Bejoijo which provides an alternative to Albo's mods.

It is at this location: update/update.rpf Copy and paste that to the same location but in the mods folder. That will make it updated, but remove any mods you have in there. They will need to be re-added.

Have you tried disabling your anti-virus and then re-installing RPH?

If you have the newest version of GTA 5, both LSPDFR and RPH have been updated so you can already start playing LSPDFR. The only thing currently out of date still is ScriptHookV. Hope This Helps! 🙂

To add on to what Will said, an example of what SHV does is deal with whatever Trainer you use. (I.E. Simple Trainer). For now you just have to use the the RPH Console to spawn stuff in and give health and guns and whatnot.

Did you make sure to update everything after the GTA 5 update?

The update has actually just been released. 🙂

Basically if you stopped your game from updating to the newest version of GTA 5 you would be fine. If you didnt do that, then you have to wait. Although, RPH has been updated. SHV still hasnt so you wont be able to use trainers.

To add on to what was said here, it can take roughly a week or so. RPH usually will have an update within a couple days, but SHV takes longer due to only one person working on it. Hope This Helps! 🙂

Yeah. Unforunately, you showed up right as the released the new DLC. Sucks for all the new people that joined LSPDFR.

For that download I linked, everything goes into the main directory.

I dont know for the first part. However, for the second part, I can recommend this trainer: https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/simple-trainer-for-gtav Side note, RPH and SHV need to be updated since the new DLC came out. You will need to wait until they are released to play. :)
