  1. what is your visualsettings dat file set at for Car.Default also what are your game settings. Should be high, very high or ultra for particles, fx and reflections

  3. The last 2 or 3 Challenger models I tried to use had a bunch of bugs in them. When you turn, the wheel goes thru the fender. OR the skin/model exposes around the fender showing the inside of the car and the front turn signal strobe actually flashes outside the front fender instead of thru the front. Is there any slicktop challengers out there without all these bugs? thanks (Hoping to make it a ghosted Slicktop Pursuit vehicle)

  6. @Giordano Pav500 helped me greatly. The solution was I didn't have a vehicles.meta and caravariations.meta properly configured. I had to copy the template over and rename it to sheriff3. Issue solved!
  7. So i installed the original in sheriff3. and it refuses to load the game. I have only been using default slots. Do i physically need to create a sheriff3 slot or will it create it for me when i add the model and carvation etc to OpenIV? RagePluginHook.log maybe that is one of my problems. as per Albo1125, my install path for installing vehicles thru OpenIV is: C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\MODDING\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles\vehicles.rpf\ So I need to add mods to the dlclist.xml? Sorry, i am a bit confused

  9. i have the mods folder as per Albo1125 videos. I created all the metas and added them thru openiv. I have not messed with dlclist.xml because I have never seen Albo1125 do that and my set up is based upon his
  10. I actually followed this video. What puzzles me is that I can add it to sheriff or sheriff2 and it spawn fine ok i will try that but I can put it in sheriff or sheriff2 and it spawns fine that's why i was confused
  11. No. I have never used sheriff3 before. I created my own skins. I have done many before without issue. I make my own in Photoshop and use OpenIV to add them to the models. Again, I have done this before, I have just never used slots others than default slots (police, police2, police3, sheriff, sheriff2, etc) This is the gameconfig I am using.   12. So i have made some skins for a some custom vehicles. I can add them to sheriff and the spawn in just fine. When I add them to sheriff3, the trainer spawns them and it says at bottom of screen sheriff3 spawned, but no vehicle shows up. The carvations, vehicle meta and models are all installed correctly. I have the newest version of GTA5, rage plugin, etc. I did install the gameconfig to increase my number of vehicles but I am wondering if it is actually working. Which gameconfig should I use for the newest GTA5 1.0.1493? Thanks for the help
  13. how did u set this up? did u watch Albo1125 videos on this? These are the best and easiest to understand. Do u have RageHook installed?
  14. in the vcf for the challenger, change the takedown section where is says mirrored to false
  15. @MrPotato So i am having issues with this model. When i use the ghost graphics I designed for it with Matte Black vehicle color, several parts on the model are showing thru. (around the fenders and door) When I activate stage 2 lighting, the light reflections are showing thru this. How can I fix this? if u remove the livery, you can change it to any color u want thru the trainer r u not using a mods folder to install vehicles into? turn off teh liveries and use trainer to change colors check your visualsetting.dat file. adjust car.default.emission (day and night) to 5000 and 2500 respectfully and then lower from there to fine tune it
  16. change the takedowns in the xml file. where is says mirrored, set this to false in the vehicle meta file, find the diffuseTint line and change it to 0X00FFFFFF
  17. so does this actually modify the visualsettings.dat, replace the actual taxi ads or modify the actual taxi (extra 9 ) which is what the ad sign is?
  18. So, i know there are a lot of taxi sign fixes, etc out there. I am looking for a true fix, not just a darkening of the sign. If u open the actually taxi model, EXTRA 9 controls that sign. If u remove extra 7,8, and 9 it removes the sign and ads and leaves the original taxi. Since EXTRA 9 controls this sign, there has to be a way to dim the brightness of the intensity of extra 9. What about a els taxi and modify extra 9 in the vcf (ELS) file? There has to be a work around for this besides darkening ads that are no longer readable.
  19. So my settings currently are.. Starting at texture quality n going down..... High High High Off High High Normal Soft High for post fx My lights are bright n red n blue Also my visualsettings.dat Under car.default.day.emissions 5000 Car.default.night.emissions 2500
  20. I had this issue n went into visualsettings.dat file thru opening, copied it to desktop n edited the car.default.day emissions n night emissions to 5000 n 2500. Put it back into opening n fixed all
  21. Yeah I run about 8 to 12 mods no problem. My 4k monitor was sub 200 on Amazon. I run a 1050ti video card, i5 processor n 16gb ram. I only have a 1tb 7200rpm hard drive n gonna upgrade to a 4tb. Just found a 4tb 7200rpm drive for $89. U should easily be able to do that for under 800 with monitor

    Tint is off correct? Use trainer to remove tint if not, otherwise go to the vehicle handling meta n change the diffusetint line. Are they just dim, white where suppose to b red n blue or just not working
  23. So i was getting this too. I use b.e.l. better emergency lights. After I installed radiance n visual v I noticed a color difference in my lights. I have been messing with my graphics settings in game n it has fixed this issue. When I get off shift I'll show pic of my settings
