I also heard a lot of people say that when they started using LSPDFR, they didn't install any other plugins, script and callouts. When the LSPDFR mode was started, there was a noticeable decrease in the number of frames. And obviously, this is not a problem with the computer configuration.

Gary that is going to happen, but not because of LSPDFR so to speak, it seems to be more due to the way that the script hook and rage plugin hook work to interact with GTA. The amount of work the game is having to do to keep interacting with the scripts and plugin hook are in general the main cause for fps loss. Having said that though, no matter what they do, it will always impact fps. I tried loading my game up and as soon as I initialise any of my scripts (without loading lspdfr) there is a small hit, for the most basic of scripts.

  2. Very very much looking forward to seeing more previews, this has bought be back into the fold with a passion, had to reinstall GTA 5 and LSPDFR just for the nostalgia, might even look into picking up my old modding again, especially with the new features that 0.4 will bring to the game.

Can't wait for more details and eventually a round-a-bout release date. Keep up the amazing work with this mod.

Comments welcome. Hopefully have a version available for download within the next weeks, depending on how long it takes to model an outer edge from scratch.

  4. Small update:

Have tracked down an unlocked 2008 Suburban here on LCPDFR.com from skylinegtrfreak and have started modifying it to my needs.

So far all I have managed to do with my limited modding time is add a Tahoe Setina Push-bar from NickieB and a few lights to the vehicle from Bueno's pack of lights. Still need to add rear and side lighting and figure out why the bumper lights are dull, despite being set as the same material as the bright push-bar lights.

Will also be adding a dash-light and have decided to attempt a low-poly Outer Edge as the model I received is very high poly and I am really having difficulty molding it to fit the tailgate (Thanks to JJDawkins though). Also have a few materials to sort out such as chrome appearing where it should be black.

Comments welcome. I know I keep chopping and changing my project and/or vehicle model WIP but this is the vehicle I am going to complete first as I really am happier with this model specifically as it's the right shape and year for the vehicle in the show.

Hi guys, trying to find someone with a Whelen Outer Edge Light-Bar for GTA 5 for a Flashpoint SRU Suburban that I have been working on. I found a DEV model from GTA IV but have been unable to find one for V.

I thought I would try asking here, before attempting to create one from scratch which will probably be rather crappy considering I can't do it worth a damn.

As a secondary request, any with an earlier year model Suburban DEV model that doesn't have 2 extra seats in the back that would be helpful.

    Regards.

Been a bit of time since my last post here on my thread however I have decided to create a Suburban based on my favourite TV show Flashpoint. I have been unable to find an accurate year model of the Suburban for GTA 5 and have no idea how to bring a GTA IV model to GTA V so instead it will be based on:

So far I have successfully added a ram-bar with lights added, along with lights set up on the bull-bar itself. I have gotten it into game (FBI2) for testing it out and so far it works well enough, while it is still in it's early stages and very much a WIP here's the first screenshots showing the current model status. Please note that the interior dash-light does work correctly, however it is set as Extra_1 and Extra_4 and I didn't realise it hadn't captured it on quickly enough (the exterior lights are Extra_2 and Extra_3).

I am hoping to be able to find a Whelen Outer Edge DEV model somewhere made for GTA 5 (only one I have found so far is from GTA IV) other wise I will have to try my hand at modelling on myself (which I am terrible at lol). If anyone knows of someone that might have one that is usable for DEV purposes please let me know.

Next task on the Suburban will be adding the side interior lights along with the lights on the left and right side of the vertical ram-bar mounting. I also need to see how to go about removing the back seats (the vehicle has 6 seats built into it default which I will be trying to remove the rear most seats to place equipment and a cage divider).

I have been using the full show (S1 through S5 and have decided to base it on the later vehicles however may do the older one as well).

Will be released here on LSPDFR once I am comfortable with it's progress.

New Video - Patrol Day 7 @1080p 60fps - ALPR and Traffic Stops mostly. Something I decided to try today was doing mostly ALPR and traffic hits. Was actually pretty good given the different vehicles I found and the situations I was put in. Will probably do a highway patrol video next time and see how I go setting up a speed trap on the highways around Los Santos.

  8. Livestream 7. Still a lack of viewers so I don't talk overly much but working on skins to showcase and about 75% through I load up a WIP Bearcat model that I have been working on (from Cosmo's Lenco Variation dev model).

Should be getting more videos uploaded throughout this week in the mornings. If you check out any of my videos I appreciate it.

  9. All completed skins (Lot of screenshots)

From what I can tell I believe that the pack is ready for downloading. As of right now I have single liveries as they have no identifying features to separate them. I also didn't create plates for the vehicles as some vehicles from the pack I skinned had the built in plates, some didn't.

Have also started working on a Lenco Bearcat model, which is slowly progressing. Will post up some screencaps of it once I can successfully get it to export and work in-game. Been a long time since I have done anything with zmodeler (GTA4) and it's changed a crap-ton so.. yeah.

Will be working out the best method of distributing the skin pack. Including a readme file so stay tuned for that.

  10. Day 6

Today's episode had me taking down a bank heist, stolen police interceptor and a couple of felony evasions.

Comments are welcome, give me feedback so that I can look at improving. Above all else, enjoy.

  11. I forgot there was the Bear and Bearcat. If you complete this I will most certainly be sticking it in my game, might even try to put it as one of the Noose response vehicles so that it spawns for my Tac-Teams in-game.

I might hook into Z-modeler myself in the mean time and see how I go with a box of a truck like this.

Hope to see some progress shots as you complete bits and pieces.
