  1. I can confirm that both work as I have and use them. Make sure that you have the required files such as: NativeUI ScriptHookVDotNet Also make sure that you have the mods within a "scripts" folder. If you do not have a "scripts" folder all you need to do is make a new folder named "scripts".
  2. Make sure you have all the dependencies for traffic policer: I would also recommend checking out Bejo's mods which can be found here: https://bejoijo256.wixsite.com/bejoijo
  3. From what I've experienced LSPDFR is more stable than ever in its current version. Just if you do decide to put together a mods list make sure everything is up to date and supports LSPDFR 4.0. Also if you haven't already I would sub out Albo's mods for Bejo's. Not saying that Albo's mods are bad they are just starting to become more and more outdated. If you do decide to use Bejo's you can find them here: https://bejoijo256.wixsite.com/bejoijo
  4. Did you make sure to install the visuals.dat to this path in OpenIV: "mods/update/update.rpf/common/data" You can also try using a trainer to remove the tint off of the car in game. Some cars have tint auto applied and it can dim the lights to an almost un-see-able brightness.
  5. Yeah so to clarify #6 I think it'd be cool if you could use the app to search ped's names and license plates. It would be nice cause maybe you could have the searched info stay there until you close it per say.
  6. First let me say this may not interest many people because of the fact the companion app isn't very useful if you do not have multiple monitors in my opinion, but that can change. Nevertheless I think the Companion App has great potential. It's a very cool feature that is fun to use and adds another layer of realism. This is just a few of my ideas for how I think that it could be improved: It should be given it's own tab between "LSPDFR 0.4" and "LML". I think this would make more people aware of it's existence and make it seem more like an attraction than an afterthought. It would be nice if it was combined with the character tracker that can be found on your profile page. I think that the two items really fit together and it would be nice to see them on display instead of hidden away like how they feel they are currently. Add markers for jail points and police stations around the map. (I think hospital markers would be cool too but obviously not necessary) Either make the map bigger while not in fullscreen or while in fullscreen add the ability to use options such as "Code 3 Backup". (If possible) Add the ability to view details of a call and accept a call within the app and make it possible for plugin developers to add their own details of calls. (More than just what it says in the bottom left of the screen when you get a callout in game. Something more like "The caller stated there is a man in a blue shirt walking around waving a pistol at people".) (If possible) Integrate the app with the police computer in game. (If possible) Add a waypoint of the current callout that is being responded too. Or make they tear-drop that marks the player flash red/blue. I think that these kind of things are added it can make their be more of an incentive to use the companion app. I also think that if these kind of things are added the companion app could be used as a sort of police computer that could be used with the Steam Overlay so even if you only have a single monitor you could enjoy the luxuries of the app. Let me know what you guys think. Do you think you'd use it? Do you think it could add more immersion into the game? Feel free to add what kind of things you think could also be implemented. And I would love to hear from Cyan (Website developer/maintainer , please correct me if I'm wrong). How much of this is possible?
Love the simplistic design! Works great! Keep up the great work!
  7. In case you haven't fixed this yet I would go get yourself a 100% complete game file from the gta5mods website.
  8. You can also try using Ultimate Backup by Bejo. When you call for a backup unit you can stand face to face with them and convert them to a partner. Not to mention you get the rest of Ultimate Backup and I'd urge you to check out the rest of his modifications as they are absolute game changers. https://bejoijo256.wixsite.com/bejoijo
  9. If you use Steam I would try to verify your game files. How to do this, in case you don't know how: Right click on your game in Steam Click on "Properties..." Go to the "Local Files" tab And click on "Verify Integrity of Game Files"
  10. I'd make a post in the LSPDFR Support fourm and make sure to post your RPH log with your post which can be found here:
  11. Hi and welcome to lspdfr! I would recommend using Bejo's plugins. Stop the Ped is a great modification that allows you to better interact with peds. As for wanting to having more Troopers respond you can also use ultimate backup, another Bejo plugin. https://bejoijo256.wixsite.com/bejoijo
  12. Make your PluginTimoutThreshold 60,000 in the RagePluginHook.ini. Also make sure you have scripthookV.
  13. You have saved my eyes you beautiful beautiful person.
  14. I would try this if you haven't already:
  15. Can you please explain your problem. If your game is crashing can you send your RagePlugin log found here:

Man I am blasted! 2874 Hillcrest Ave please.
  17. Maybe it's just me. But I peruse the forums during the dark of night and my wee eyes burn. They burn! It's 2020. It's a new decade! I think I speak for the community when I say G17 Media needs to get with the times and make a dark theme for lcpdfr.com. Or maybe it's 1:30 am and I have a headache and should be asleep. No. That couldn't be. But for real idk how hard it is to implement a dark theme. But if it isn't a huge inconvenience it would be a really nice quality of life thing.
  18. Personally when I first started installing vehicles I enjoyed Kane Jr's videos on how to install vehicles. If his videos aren't helpful to you I have made a text guide on how to replace vehicle models for you below. If this still does not help there is plenty of people on the forums that would love to help so don't be afraid to ask. Here is a step by step guide on how to install (replace) police car models. This is for non-els cars! If you want me to explain that too I would be more than happy too, just let me know. This may also seem very dumbed down. This is not to be an asshole and belittle you. I just want to make clear you know what to do. In your GTA main directory, this is where you installed lspdfr, make a new folder by right clicking and go down to "New > folder". Name this folder "mods" (with no quotation marks) Go back to your main directory and right click on the folder named "update" then click copy Go back into your new "mods" folder and right click and paste or ctrl+v After the update folder has been copied to your mods folder go online and download "OpenIV - the ultimate modding tool" After downloading you will get something called "ovisetup". Double click on that and read what it says, and agree to the terms of service. One of the first things OpenIV will ask for is the location of your GTAV folder. If you have GTAV on Steam the game can be found here: Steam/steamapps/common/Grand Theft Auto V. Once you have done that click on the little box with a check mark in it in the top left area under favorites called "ASI Manager" and install the three presented items: ASI Manager, OpenIV.ASI, and openCamera. Now that that is done click into your mods folder. From your mods folder you want to follow this path: update/x64/dlcpacks/patchday(highest #)/dlc.rpf/x64/levels/gta5/vehicles.rpf Now that you are here I would highly advise making a favorite of this file in the top left. Favorites act as a bookmark and make life easier next time you want to replace vehicles. The "vehicles.rpf" file that you navigated to is where you will want to drag and drop any vehicle files you download into If all has been executed correctly launch your game and enjoy! If you would like me to clarify anything or explain anything in more detail please just let me know and I'll try to get back to you ask soon as possible.
  19. I think that you have botched the installation of EUP. Make sure you have "EUP Law & Order" as well as "EUP Serve & Rescue". They come in the form of OpenIV package installers so they are very simple to install.
  20. I think everyone who looked found them... But yeah searched forever ctrl+f'ing wikapidia pages of towns/cities in New York and New Jersey and I couldn't find anything.
  21. Too remove tint being default: In OpenIV go through this path: "mods/update/update/common/data/level/gta5/vehicle.meta" Right click and edit the "vehicle.meta" Press "CTRL+F" and search for whatever car it is you want to remove the tint from Once you have searched the vehicle scroll down and find the line that says "<diffuseTint valie="xxxxxxxxxx" />" (Note that the x's could be any random string of letters and #'s) Replace the string so it looks like this "<diffuseTint valie="0x00FFFFFF" />" Load the game and see if it worked DISCLAIMER: Know that I just researched this so I can't 100% guarantee it will work as I haven't done this myself
