GeorgeJetSam got a reaction from BlueSteelShield in Texture needed - feeling lazyGood evening LCPDFR universe. I recently decided to model a 2016 FPIU for GTA IV, however I need an LAPD style black and white texture for it. It doesn't have to be LAPD in particular, just your standard texture with the black all around and white doors and roof. I'm going to change the text and seals, so I'm just looking for that general design. If anyone knows of one that is already released and can point me in the right direction, or would be willing to make one up, I would very much appreciate the help!
Here is a link to the DEV model I'll be using:

GeorgeJetSam reacted to austinblue27 in GeorgeJetSam's W.I.P'sThat AMR ambulance looks amazing! I live in Washington State and travel up to Spokane a lot where AMR is very prominent, and I must say, these look exactly like the units they drive up there, except the skin is the blue and grey variant. Nice job! I would love to see the older or newer ford van ambulances they use, which I see all the time around my hometown of Kennewick. I'm surprised no one has taken a stab at it.

GeorgeJetSam got a reaction from TheRealNoodle in GeorgeJetSam's W.I.P'sI've recently been trying my hand at modding.
This is the first mod I've liked enough to put in my game.
I know its "Simple" but its based on a real department close by and its an almost identical match.

GeorgeJetSam got a reaction fromDeactivated Memberin GeorgeJetSam's W.I.P'sI decided to make a few AMR textures, since there aren't very many accurate ones out there, most had colors off, or the rear was the older version and the front was not... I worked most of the day and ended up with several different versions:
-Oldschool AMR, San Diego, Los Angeles County ALS and BLS, Las Vegas and a generic version.
I also modeled them for both the Ford E-450 and Speedo ambulance models.
Oldschool:
LA County (ALS on the left, BLS on the right):
Las Vegas:

GeorgeJetSam got a reaction from Crizby in Handcuff Case... #DumbTopicAlertI know I'm a little late to the party, but as a former Explorer and CSO, and a current LEO, I would definitely say get the Accumold.
You don't want more than two cuffs on you at once, the belt is gonna get heavy and you don't need back problems later in life or problems catching some guy if you're in a foot pursuit. Also, if you need more than two sets of cuffs, its probably best to wait until you have at least one other person with you before you do ANY cuffing, and they will be bringing cuffs.
I also carry several sets of plastic zip-tie style cuffs in my "bail out" bag, which could be used in situations where I need more, they are readily accessible and not weighing you down.
Lastly, I get that the keeper style ones look pretty cool, but if you have them hanging down into your back pocket, its just going to take you longer to get to them when you need them, which may be the difference between getting into a fight or being able to control someone before they decide to act. The keeper ones will also rattle around and you won't be quite as sneaky, which may come in handy if you plan on being a cop at some point.
Just my two cents worth....
*SIDE NOTE* For those of you wondering about exactly what an explorer can/can't do...it varies WIDELY by which state and even which department you are an explorer for. I was regularly cuffing as an explorer, and occasionally doing more than that, while some departments aren't even allowed to get out on traffic stops.

GeorgeJetSam reacted to Cj24 in California State Pack! (LAPD, LASD, CHP)To be honest, I can't really say that this is as promising as some of you think so far, you're mostly showing unequipped models you can just download somewhere. It seems like you aren't really caring about details, looking at the CVPIs. Your partitions are wrong and none of the agencies you plan to do has dashcams. Not trying to get you to lose hope, but it will be very hard to reach the quality of some of the already released LAPD and CHP vehicles. Actually, just finding a car nobody else has already created is a challenge. There are tons of LA area mods.

GeorgeJetSam got a reaction from TheRealNoodle in GeorgeJetSam's W.I.P'sSo I finished the fine tuning of all of the textures. I also decided to make a supervisor model, just to round things off. There isn't a good F-150 with a shell released, so I wasn't able to make the LA County supervisor truck, so I decided to make the new Ford Explorer version that they're using on the east coast...I think it came out pretty well.
Here's the whole set, minus the Las Vegas Version. I'm currently playing with an LA pack, and I like to keep it realistic, so I didn't put that one in my game.
The Speedo version will be released on OfficerLuka130's upcoming ambulance. Do you think I should release the ford version? and how about the supervisor explorer? I probably will if there is enough interest.

GeorgeJetSam reacted to Cj24 in Cj24's ModificationsMade a short video of the lightstages of the cars from the pack, front view only though:
I removed the dashlight because it was still partly visible if you replaced it with a transparent textures. If many people would like to have a dashlight as well, I could release an additional model with dashlight.

GeorgeJetSam reacted to Schecter004 in Cj24's ModificationsYour old LCPD Pack is one of the best i've ever seen! . And the current pictures look amazing. The option to change the textures for personal like is absolutely awesome. CJ24, your're one of the best. I like your work very much. Eben deutsche Wertarbeit!

GeorgeJetSam reacted to Cj24 in Cj24's ModificationsJust tested it, it works absolutely fine:
As visible in the picture as well, any of the front LEDs of the Liberty can be turned into a steady burn activating together with the secondaries, though this requires a left/right alternating pattern for the amber secondaries. I'll also include ELS configs for different colors and for working steady burns.
Update: I added the dashlight and to show there're many different setups possible, I created a NY style setup with red/white in front and red/blue in back.
