  1. Nice dude! Idk what time it was, but don't your traffic lights stop working after like 11pm? So that it just gives the orange light flashing? It's obviously stupid that you have to wait when there's no one
  2. Of course not. If they wanna leave their job for this, they can go ahead. I just think cops won't leave their job for something this minor. They'd leave when they have to give up their guns or when only special teams get to carry firearms, but not for this.
  3. The skins are nailed. They look fantastic!
  4. Lol interesting discussion. My country has no no-go-zones, sweden does though. That turned bad really quickly. America has no-go-zones too, typically neighbourhoods with gangs or a big part of Detroit so to say. Personally I am FOR the right to bear arms. People are born on this planet NOT as part of a government. Just count out how many times the government makes mistakes. Trust me, the government makes a lot of mistakes and I like to think that governments are bad at everything. That being said, people are dependant on themselves to defend themselves. During a home invasion I don't like to wait until the police arrives (most likely never because who's gonna notify them?), I prefer to have a firearm and defend my life, my childrens lifes and my wifes life. Unfortunately that's not a thing in my country and never will be. And that's the interesting part. As a pro-gun european I get to experience and see both sides of the argument. I think Europeans are for banning because they are born used to the idea that it's not normal to have that. Americans exactly the other way and that is why it is so extremely hard to convince others about your points. My 2 cents. And sorry for the late answer. I'm new here but didn't wanna miss out on this discussion.
  5. Alright, I can agree to that. I disagree, this bill shouldn't make their job any more dangerous than it already is. It just tries to force cops to use other methods on the force spectrum first. I have seen quite many videos in which cops shoot at people that walk around angrily with a bat and all of a sudden attack the officer. What they should do, whilst the guy is still walking around angrily is either pepperspray or taser him first. If there's a K9, use that. Keep a nice distance and use your voice to talk him down. You should only shoot when your life is in direct danger, so when someone is 10 meters away from you trying to hit you with a bat, it's not really life-threatening YET. Bats are only useful short-range so I'd then choose to shoot when he is like 3 meters away, 5 if he is running towards me. First legs, if no success, go for torso. That's usually how Dutch police do it and it seems to work pretty well.
  6. Is that like the only rule that is provided to police officers for the use of deadly force? Let me tell you when the police here (Netherlands) are allowed to use their weapon: To arrest a person on whom is reasonable suspicion that he is carrying a for-instant-use (so, loaded etc.) firearm and that he will use this against people (be it a police officer or a bystander To arrest a person who is actively resisting arrest and who is suspected or sentenced for committing a crime that goes with 1. More than 4 years of prison. 2. that is a great danger to someone bodily integrity (So rape, trying to run someone over with a car, anything that is able to gravely harm someone.) or 3. That is a danger for society (I imagine the lawmakers mean a terrorist that is fleeing and dropped his gun already. You don't want him to get away in any possible way. That terrorist qualifies for 1. though anyway. Only on persons or vehicles in or on which there are persons. And then they even make an exception: In case the police officers know the identity of a suspect, they are not allowed to shoot him in the leg unless he is a danger to society when he is not being arrested at that exact time. I think this gives proper benchmarks with plenty of freedom for officers to choose, but also to make sure they don't turn into triggerhappy people. To conclude: Necessary force sounds better than reasonable force. Necessary leaves less to interpretation if you ask me.
  7. They're not the only though. There's a whole bunch of them like Autobahn Police Simulator. They are nowhere near LCPDFR and LSPDFR though, but that's most likely because of the awesome graphics we got here. The market for police games isn't that big I'm afraid (just compare amount of LCPDFR players to GTA V players) thus the budgets for creating a great game like the combination of GTA and LSPDFR aren't ever going to be a thing. I agree with the rest of the post though :D
  8. I obviously have no background on this story and I don't know what happened so it's obviously hard to judge, but this is not really good police work. When a suspect manages to steal your taser (must be his, and he must have used it already, else he had every reason to shoot the suspect) AND police car, you know you messed up.
  9. Would anyone of the development team (@sam) be able to answer this question? Then I can start making proper preparations for this :D
  10. Not really morally or ethically acceptable to bomb the entire area. I agree with some things you say, but I think you take it a little too far on the other parts. The world does not only exist of Americans, nor does it only exist of Russians or any other ethnicity, race or culture. We are on this earth together and whether you like it or not, the actions of 1 man or country have consequences for other men or countries. I think Trump is right when he wants to put America first. He represents the people from the US so those should be his first priority. However, America first doesn't mean there's no second or third. It means there's still international relations. Things like chemical, nuclear or biological weapons are absolutely unacceptable and of course there should be a response to that. United States can't keep themselves away from that. However, the response that they gave last night was a joke. Western countries are once again failing to show proof of who did it. Nope, instead there's a "high probability" that Syria did it. Where did I hear that before? Oh right, the Skripal case in the UK. There's a high probability that Russia did it. Russia meanwhile has been offering their help countless times to figure out what actually happened. UK meanwhile keeps slamming the door in their face again and again. I think it was reckless and pointless to bomb. France, UK and US basically laid our lives in the hands of Russia, who said they'd attack the launching places of the missiles they fired on Syria. We all know what it means when a country attacks another country who is member of NATO. I am not pro-russia nor pro-america. I just try to look at things from an objective point of view and lay down some theories (based on facts). Not saying this is my belief.
  11. Read the whole topic, got a lot of answers on my questions except for 1. Will we be able to allocate liveries to different police stations? So imagine I have a crown vic on slot police1 that I want to assign to 4 police stations in different 'cities'. Would it then be possible to say for police station 1, I want police1 with livery1, for police station 2 I want police1 with livery2. Would that be a thing? Otherwise, great work. I have been enjoying LCPDFR and LSPDFR big time!
