  1. I am having a major problem with my Google Chrome certificate security. It's blocking google and other useful websites and says they're fraudulent. I need Google, it's like part of daily society and when I go to the options it won't let me remove the "harmful" google certificate. Honestly the forums weren't my first choice but it's not like I can google it right?
  2. I'm gonna go with the 2008 because it is the best choice of the two, no major accident history (or so I think), it's newer and it's cheaper. Lol I like your idea about the runners, but I was honestly thinking of replacing the horn with a FedSig SS2000 airhorn (if that's legal or possible) and buying the plastic 10 spoke hubcaps :D
  3. Great cause I was worried I would have to order from fordparts.com and thats about 60 bucks more, but it;s under 2008 on fordparts.com. Even though I know that the crown vic stayed the same pretty much from '98 to '11, I know there are some small changes that have taken effect over the years.
  4. Does anybody know if you can put these on the 2008 crown vic? http://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-NEW-2010-2011-Ford-Crown-Victoria-4-Full-Wheel-Covers-SET-Hub-Caps-17-/260900858153 I wanted the 2008 more in the first place because it is 4 years newer than the 2004, I just wanted the '04 because of the rambar :D
  5. I need some help from some experts here on the forums. I am looking into buying my first car and I am looking for something cheap, reliable, powerful, a ford, and preferably new. So what better than a retired Crown Vic Police Interceptor. There isn't that many for sale in my area (would you believe) and the prices are Canadian so they'd be more than American so don't be alarmed. There's two that I am looking at right now. 2008 Crown Victoria for $2500 4.6 ltr V8 250 HP/297 lbs ft of torque 4 spd auto with overdrive All maintenance up to date. All fluids and filters changed had all brakes and rotors done and intake manifold. New spark plugs pcv valve and newer windshield wipers. Car drives great. Sounds great with its dual exhaust. It was former police vehicle so it will need paint work. Also needs rear quarter window replaced too. * Aircare not required 2004 Crown Victoria $3000 (Ex police car) V8, Air cared, Good tires, Tinted windows, New front rotors and Disc brakes (Best quality) Had rear end rebuilt about 3 months ago. Has a flow master duel exhaust, Recent tune up done and all oil changes, Has a Brand new ramming bar (which is legal) and a new Mp3 C.D player with all new speakers (Recently installed). This Car runs Great and is a lot of fun. So what's the difference? What would be a better investment?
  6. My cousin in-law is in the Surrey RCMP so I'll just ask him when he's off his leave. I might give Coquitlam RCMP a call tomorrow too. And yes I am sure they've had weirder calls haha
  7. Right right, I've been doing so much stuff related to Sheriff's Depts. I just said it without thinking :P
  8. I was wondering if any RCMP enthusiasts or officers if there are any on the forums, what the hat protocol is for the Mounties. I have seen some pictures of Mounties wearing their regular police uniform along with their Stetson/Campaign hat. I even saw two Surrey Mounties walking down the White Rock Promenade on a summer afternoon wearing their Campaign hat just making a presence, and it looked GREAT! I never saw the two combined like that before and I loved the look, so how come if it looks so good, it is so rare? Is it all up to the officers? Or is there a certain time when it is aloud to be worn? All the pictures I have found are of Surrey Mounties so is it up to the detachment? I wish the Mounties wore it way more often. 11. Could somebody help me identify this LED visor that my local PD uses in one of it's unmarked chargers?
  12. I am starting to get in to modeling, mostly due to the fact I hate making requests and most of the time they're not exactly how I need them. SO I am going to make my own cars, but I need an X2100 lightbar. I've seen tons of mods in the downloads section that have it on cars but they're all locked. So if someone would be kind enough to send me their X2100. I would be in eternal debt to you
  13. Well so much for me joining the RCMP Clan when I am finished making my new computer. Oh well. I'm sure there will be tons of police clans for GTA Online and hopefully GTA Online has some better options that let you be a cop or something, you never know. I think it'd be smart of Rockstart to just give us a massive police DLC to shut us up once and for all :P
  14. Laughed my ass off when I read "fu**king serious man?" ahahaha
  15. Thanks everyone! I tried to make the skins as close as possible to their real life counterparts, like the correct unit number for each vehicle and the license plate that goes with the unit number, little stuff like correct placement of parts of the skin. I can't wait until TheWhiteEagle is done put the models together. Not included in the picture is the 2013 Charger that will be part of the release. I am starting the 2013 Charger skin today so hopefully the model will be done fairly soon. :)
  16. Something Big is coming to GTA IV/EFLC > >Something big by JSDGraphics12, on Flickr Models shown are for demonstration purposes only. Release models will be exactly like real life cars, from the lights on the roof to the insurance tag on the license plate Port Moody, BC Police Package All textures done by JSDGraphics Models put together by TheWhiteEagle Original models and parts done by many many others who I will mention in the release
  17. Can someone please hook me up with the template, I can't find it anywhere and I need to make a skin for that model. I will give you candy!
  18. Dude... you just put on the first image that shows up on google images, on to the side of the car. This is the real livery.
  19. Yeah I love the PoMo Police. I just like their whole style of policing and I do have to say, when I was walking to a bus stop by the McDonalds on St Johns st. I saw one of the Chargers pull out of Williams st on to St Johns and he just floored it down St Johns and when he got near traffic he put on his lights and siren. They claim they have no response time over 4 minutes so I assume that has to do with the high speed responses
  20. Yeah no kidding. I am quite sad though cause when I was talking to the officer, he said they're getting more of the Dodge Chargers and no Fords... :( So this Expedition will sooner or later be phased out by some Dodge vehicle...
