    Good luck on getting your CDL's taximan. Its a very rewarding career. I had wanted to be a truck driver ever since I was a kid so I got my CDL's back in 93 as soon as I turned 21 and started running North Carolina to California hauling furniture out and produce back. Thought I wanted a change of jobs and joined the Sheriffs dept however I missed trucking so I went back in and bought my own truck. Lack of business experience and being leased onto a shoddy company lead to me losing the truck (my first paycheck was a you owe us $) so really learn the business by being a company driver before taking a plunge into buying your own truck. To everyone entering law enforcement, good luck aswell.
