As it seems their power varies from State to State - some give them more and some give them less power. Some states, like Illinois, give these personnel full power as state police or peace officers, allowing them to engage in any law enforcement activity. Cross-deputization with other jurisdictions also commonly provides legal authority when necessary. For example, the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management says, “Along with their responsibilities to enforce state environmental laws, officers are cross-deputized by such agencies as the [U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service], National Marine Fisheries Service, and U.S. Customs Service to assist in enforcing each agency’s laws within the state. And for Indiana for example .... Department of Natural Resources conservation officers have full police powers as any state, city or county police officer. They can enforce all Indiana laws including speeding, stop signs and driving while intoxicated. So as far as I see it they can do speed enforcement.

I think they are really nice ..... one other goodie would be the ALPR but otherwise just perfect.

Your Vehicles are very nice but this I also have to ask .... why does the K9 CVPI Slicktop has this odd thing on the rear windows ( driver and passenger side )

Problem solved..... First of all thanks to everybody who tried to help a bob like me ..... What was wrong? because of the initial crash with this mod I assumed that the location for the vehicles.meta was wrong and put it in the spot where "only in game vehicles" go .... I misread there something. In that place it did not work but the real culprit was an outdated gameconfig.xml and after bringing this back up to date I did not change the location hence no vehicle there. Now I did put it again where it according to the guide belongs and can you believe it ..... there it stands in all its beauty :-) Thank you so much.

it shows up in openIV just fine and the naming of yft and ytd are also the same. Did do the carvariations entry also ..... did add both carvariations.meta and vehicles.meta. I did use the trainer and I think I tryed it with the rage console as well .... When I get home I will redo the whole car again and let you guys know

Hey thanks for the link ..... I took from the DL the one with the 1x Gameconfig but to no avail ..... still the same problem " police11 spawned " but no vehicle to see ....

yeah I figured that much but I am at a total loss where to get one

so what can I do instead?

@Kalleboston ..... no I assume I forgot after the recent GTA update ....... I will try that an let you know ....the one from the link in the PDF is still the right one? UPDATE so I downloaded this one https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/gameconfig-xml-dilapidated and placed it in mods/update/update.rpf/common/data replacing the one that was there ...... still the same problem.

First off I do like this a lot because it gives me the ability that even a dumb duck like me gets more police cars in the game as there initial slots are but one little problem is there .... the cars that I added so far ( only three ) work just fine followed by the guide but they did not have there own vehicle.meta so that was pretty straight forward. Now I have one with its own vehicle.meta ... so what did I do - renamed the file from police4 to police11 and added them there : Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\MODDING\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles\vehicles.rpf\ - renamed the els xml file to police11 and placed it in the els folder - added within the "modding folder" the carvariations.meta and named that one police11 here : Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\MODDING\dlc.rpf\common\data - took the vehicle supplied vehicles.meta (changed 1,2 and 4 to police11 and left 3 as it was and added the audio hash) here : Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\MODDING\dlc.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5 but the game crashed just before it is fished with loading ...... - after reading the guide again I realized that it had to go here : Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5\vehicles.meta so no more crash but after using the trainer the game says "vehicle spawned" but there is no vehicle ..... can someone give me a hint where I am wrong? This might be a silly question but I open police radio with "c" and it works well so far but every time I hit the "y" button to let's say perform a plate check (can be any other task) the radio disappears and I have to reopen it first with "c" again in order to use it again. Is this supposed to be that way?

Hey there, that's odd. I just did try it again and the download itself works but hitting unrar it gives me an error that there is no directory and/or unknown format. All other files I download work fine.

The download is broken ........ I downloaded this with two different systems/browsers but in all cases the downloaded file is broken
