Because it still works just not on eup 8.1. Some people use the npc peds from the pack for their fivem servers that don't have eup streaming, etc. Those all still work fine. Not everyone uses the eup. Some people even use the new eup update (3.1) for this pack from mod universe but use the npc peds from the 2.0 version of the pack here as their backup units because they dont use eup backup.

If you want your backup units to match with the uniforms in my pack this is what you've been looking for! This version of the pack is outdated and only works on eup 7.5. You need the new overhauled 3.1 version of the pack for eup 8.1. Its posted on modification-universe

All my updates and releases will most likely be on MU now. This site doesnt do much to protect developers work all the known rippers and leakers hang out and release stolen stuff here. The member thing is an extra measure to keep those people away from developers work to try and prevent theft as much as possible. Its really not that much of a hassle either but people freak out about it lol. The way I see it though anyone who appreciates the time, money, and hard work that devs put in to release free stuff wouldnt mind going through an extra step to get their work. Especially if it meant more protection for them. Because its either that or everyone will just stop releasing and keep their stuff to themselves at this point. Either way though it's there and its still free and public you just have to be a basic member to download it.

You are on eup 8.1 and you're using the outdated pack (2.0) from eup 7.5. You need to go download and install the updated version of the pack (3.0) for eup 8.1. Scroll up I've gone over this in the comments section here 100 times and there is also a big disclaimer at the top of this download page (literally the 1st thing written on the download page) saying this 2.0 version of the pack isnt updated for eup 8.1.

Please read the big disclaimer at the top of the download page Ive also answered this question countless times in the comments right above yours. The eup 8 version (3.0) is released on modification universe. Only way to use this 2.0 version is with eup 7.5

Thanks glad you enjoy them! This version of the pack is not updated it will only work on eup 7.5. I posted the new overhauled 3.0 version of the pack on modification universe the other day. The 3.0 version will work on eup 8.1 and has been completely redone with a bunch of new uniforms and everything has been remapped for 3d textures on all the patches and clothing.

The vest pack has been updated to work with 8.1 however I haven't done an update to add the new 8.1 vest models and things yet but the pack will work for you no problem. I have a whole ton of new vests 3d mapped and everything I just haven't put another update together for it yet. Also the Blaine update is out now posted on Modification Universe a few hours ago and there are actually a few new vests in that one too that aren't in the vest pack.

Please read the big disclaimer at the top of the download page. I've also answered this question countless times in the comments. The pack is not updated for eup 8 it will work on eup 7.5. The folder you are looking for is in a new location that's why it's not there. Im just about done completely overhauling the pack with all new stuff should be releasing the update soon.
