  6. How about we stop trying to justify homosexuality and get back on topic? Sounds great! To me, gay marriage is an interesting subject. As a decently religious person, the idea is strange but I would not necessarily call it wrong. While my religion influences my life, it does not drive my every being so with that in mind I am kind of in a "eh" position. Now onto the American in me, or I guess I should say human in me. I feel having gay marriage is something that needs to happen due to, as said above, using history as a way to justify set standards is not really the strongest argument. It's time for the government to wake up and realize this movement is not going to go away, and it is not their decision to determine what sex you are partnered with. However, I do not agree with it being called marriage. My reason for this, though, is because from my religious perspective marriage is between a man and a woman only and that is where my main opinion lies, in it's title. To counter my own opinion, though, if religion and state are separated and history shouldn't define present and future changes there is no reason to call it anything but marriage. Quick edit: To give background on my feelings towards gays; I have no issue with them so long as they are not the "in your face" type. I do not go out of my way to show everyone I am straight and hook up with chicks and I don't run around like a wacko with signs using religion to tell people their actions are sending them to "hell" so when I encounter a homosexual who does feel entitled to making me feel out of place for not agreeing with him then I have an issue
  7. Yah you know there's a lot of people who say the death penalty isn't fair. But I don't think its fair to let the assholes that rape little kids, blatantly kill innocent people and many other things continue to consume air while others suffer with the loss of loved ones. Bulllets aren't that expensive and the monsters on death row sure as hell do not deserve a lethal dose of expensive shit. Firing squad would hose 'em all waiting for 10+ years real quick. And if anyone wants to pitch the question of "Is this how you would want to be treated" Yah, you know if I ever go crazy and kill a bunch of people just going about their day or do whatever, please do execute me.
  8. And I would do the same for you. On topic: I voted depends; as said earlier I would regard my safety first but if lethal weapons we're involved I would do my best to help(within boundaries)

  10. Still think this game is a sham, and always will. I'd rather put money betting the devs will slowly disappear with lined pockets than throw money at this...whatever the hell you want to call it. What they have now is hardly a game. The footage theyve shown barely shows anything they've worked on aside from the environment and shitty lighting systems. You'd be insane to support this. Steam Greenlight was an awesome addition to steam, but the early access plague has taken a lot of peoples cash with little to nothing in return in terms of game quality. EA games are a big nono for me now. Edit: Like seriously? Who the hell lifts a vic...
  11. Lol I love some of these as I know several people posting are still in highschool and therefore not being entirely honest...but oh well it's the internet. I am a student by day, teenager by night. Might get a job in the spring time but work full time as an ocean lifeguard during the summer. More than likely won't do it when i get out of college but pays well and looks great on college apps. Also, if I do decide to do it when I am 21, I would have the same pension plan as city police officers ff's etc. I don't get a Jeep as those are for the higher ups, most of the time I work a tower as I am still young compared to most working there but occasionally I get to operate one of these babies:
  12. Best of luck Tom. I agree with everything you said to an extent; I wanted to point out though that it seems issues with the CT and how they excercise power has decreased in recent months(although at times has been bad). I am not sure if it is because of my decreased activity, but I don't see many issues with the staff around town these days. Community in general is still shitty, but the CT seems to be getting better IMO. Either way, good luck man. You seem to be joining a long list of people tired of hoping for the community to change. Here's to hoping GTAV has a community reset button when it hits PC.

  17. It's funny how people work. A tragic event happens, one which it would be unfair to not pursue the officer and unjust to indite him. The family calls for peace in mourning their loved one and yet people(often with no care of what is actually occuring) decide to pursue violence...
