Sheriff as it's my local agency and they are super chill. I like city cops too in some cities, some can be real dicks though. State police are kick ass, but are last on my list because of the California highway patrol officers. Those dudes in socal always have a real stick up their ass and I have very limited amounts of respect for them. (I hear the CHP in norcal is nice though). Also @deputylund, at least where I am, Sheriff deputies make close to double the starting salary of the CHP. So not sure where that logic comes from in wanting to go with the CHP based on salary lol

It may be a waste of time for the officer, and a stupid argument, but I agree with the overall message of the author of the video. Police in America have this idea that they can and will do whatever the hell they want, and they have this idea because they are never held accountable under the claims of "within their force" and often times "resisting arrest". Accountability within departments and agencies nationwide would surely shape up the disgraceful act many agencies are presenting their citizens with. I think this officer was very professional and represented his department very well. Unfortunately this cannot be said for every situation and while I am a strong proponent of the idea that the small amount of bad apples outshadow the large amount of good ones, it sure would be nice to see a little more legal action regarding violations of those who serve the public

Dated a girl freshman and sophomore year of highschool(About two and a half years). After that realized girls are expensive and can be perfectly fine having a thing with chicks for a few months at a time. False, quite a few departments use 2011ish Ford Taurus PI's. They never purchased them as a fleet, as you said they were a concept, but there are definitely 10-12 body style taurus running as official police vehicles. Especially in Massachusetts.

Police doing things wrong? I don't see how they were in the wrong here. Regardless of what's occurring, going 30+ over AND failing to yield to police is still wrong. A 30 second stop to tell the cops what is happening and then get help in getting to the hospital would have been much more effective than depending on a dispatcher to relay info and then expect the police to just go about their day. If the police had let them continue to speed off and they killed a family on the road cause of their speed we would be reading a post about how negligent the police were...
