  1. If you can go up to 130-150 for a gpu there are a number of very good options at amazon.co.uk. I'm using a EVGA GTX 560 Ti and it's run the game very nicely.
  2. Yeah, I started to get out of my car to make the arrest but had to get back in to keep from getting mauled by all the cars flying at me. Will install trafficflow tonight. I assume since there were so many "police" spawning they just all responded since they were in the area. As an aside, curious if any of you can recommend an ENB that won't destroy my FPS? I'd love to get one, but there are so many choices, no idea where to start. FPS are pretty solid right now, still would rather play the game smoothly than have an ENB if that's what I'd have to do. When I see some of these ENB videos on youtube I imagine these guys must be running the game on a $4,000 setup. System specs - i5-2500k (not overclocked yet) EVGA GTX 560 Ti (also not overclocked yet) 8GB DDR3-1600 Win 7 64bit
  3. Using .95 RC2 ... Got into a pursuit, and just as it began we passed an oncoming AI CVPI. It immediately joined the pursuit, even though I had not requested backup. Pursuit goes on for about 90 seconds. In that 90 seconds I was joined by no less than 16 AI CVPIs. At no point did I request backup. A minute after the pursuit ended, I counted a total of 26 CVPIs clustered around my car. For the next 5 minutes after pulling away from the scene, all other traffic (even in other areas) was just CVPIs. My CVPI is hosted in the police.wtd / wtf slot. Just wondering if there is a way to limit the number of backup units responding, or to cancel backup in game? Maybe a script change? It kinda ruined the fun. I have yet to install TrafficFlow, not sure if that will alter anything. Thanks for your input.
  4. I was bullied in junior high. I waited longer than I should have waited to respond to it. The key to combatting bullying on a personal level is to build up your confidence. Unfortunately, you really can't rely on anyone else to handle the problem for you, as no one is going to follow you around all day monitoring how you're treated by others (nor would you want them to). The poster who took up Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu hit the nail on the head. Those who bully others are simply feeding on your insecurity like a parasite feeds on the blood of its host. In some instances, ignoring the perpetrator will diffuse the issue and they'll move on, having become bored of messing with you. In others, more drastic action may need to be taken. Again, this is where Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu might come in handy. If you are going to college, the likelihood of maintaining high school friendships is very slim. I've been out of college for 8 years, and at this point I still speak regularly with one person I knew in high school, and one person I knew in college. People will continually come in and out of your life. Just the way it is. Ultimately, kids are mean as hell. No meaner now than they used to be, just simply have many more avenues in which to spread false information about others.
  5. Taximan I wonder if you'd be willing to create the current Dallas Police skins as well? http://www.flickr.com/photos/mstreeman/6253370329/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/southerncalifornian/6055522446/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/theronhern/6922965442/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/rachel91874/6800954890/
  6. Looks dead on. I've been wanting to do a new Dallas Police skin but can't figure out what font they used.
  7. I'm wanting to put together a package of all Dallas, TX area agencies that run traffic. Correct vehicle models with their correct liveries. I found a solid Texas DPS skin but nothing more at this point. Wondering if I provided links to photos if someone would be willing to create the skins? Was thinking ... 10. Appreciate your feedback. Possible to pass along GPU specs I should look for? Seems a quad-core processor is a must, whether AMD or Intel.
  11. Greetings, By a complete stroke of luck I randomly discovered the LCPDFR mod via Youtube about a week ago. Having now watched about 10 hours of patrol videos it appears to be the game I've been waiting 20 years for. I haven't owned a desktop in years (wife and I both use basic laptops) but I've got the itch to assemble something to get my hands on this game. Looking at assembling a budget gaming system. I've been through the reddit buildapc board, and spent some time on pcpartpicker. Seems like LCPDFR demands more than what would normally be required for smooth gameplay, so my question is ... 1. If I'm going to blow $400-500 (on strictly the case and everything in it, no externals) and build myself something, will I be able to get a smooth (35-40 fps) gameplay experience? 2. If so, am I going all out on GPU or CPU? I had planned on 6-8GB RAM, maybe an Intel i5 processor. The area where I'm least knowledgable is GPUs. If I'll need a $400 GPU I'll probably scrap the idea all together. 3. I've got an XP license, noticeable difference in gameplay when running on XP vs Win7? Appreciate the help gentlemen.
