SAPS OS — In-Car MDT, CAD & Records for LSPDFR Ever wished the MDT in your cruiser actually worked like the real thing? SAPS OS puts a full rugged Panasonic Toughbook in your patrol car running its own Windows 11-style operating system: a real CAD, a records management system, booking, courts and a community network for officers. Everything is driven by what happens in your game: the peds you stop, the plates you run, the people you arrest. It all gets saved and follows you from shift to shift. 🚓 How a shift playsGo on duty, climb into a patrol car and press your MDT key. The Toughbook lowers into view. Sign on to Sentinel CAD with your unit, beat and assignment, and you're 10-8. Calls drop into your queue, you mark yourself en route and on scene, run the driver at your traffic stop, write the citation, hand them their copy in game, and clear the call with a disposition. Arrest someone instead? Drive them to Mission Row, book them on the station computer, and the case shows up later in court. Thanks for the detailed report, this helped a lot! Typing/dropdowns: Found it. Dropdowns and text popups were making GTA think it lost focus, so it grabbed focus back and kicked you out mid-sentence. Fixed in the next update. The flickering should be gone with it too. Settings menu: There is one in game! Open the MDT → Settings → SAPS OS. Every .ini option is there, so you never have to open the file: the MDT key (Toggle Key), ALPR on/off, bodycam, keys, all of it. There's a search bar too, just type "alpr" or "key". Changes save straight away; a few need Next update also adds resizable windows (drag the bottom-right corner) and a Save button for the Gemini key. Keep the feedback coming 👍
