  1. How do you "unlock" them? What do you mean by "configurations for each car"?
  2. My apologies if this is not posted in the correct section. So now that I've got it installed, I'm having issues when I try to enter an ELS-enabled vehicle. I'm guessing it's because the vehicle is V7 compatible and not V8 and, therefore, needs to be converted...that's where I'm having problems. I'm not too clear on how to make them compatible from V7 to V8. The "conversion guide" included with the download is not helpful for me. It says "Must be converted to new format: X, Y, Z" but that means nothing to me. Any help would be appreciated.
  3. It's alright...I was sort of expecting to have to do it all over again. It's just so annoying when it takes 12+ hours to do. Oh well, it's done and it installed with no problems this time - thanks for the suggestion!
  4. The game does not get past the load screen. No, I have not tried re-downloading it. That's what it looks like I'm going to have to do.
  5. To make a long story short, yesterday, I uninstalled EFLC and re-downloaded it overnight and finally just got to re-installing it. During installation, I got this message: CRC error: The file F:Program FilesRockstar GamesGTAEFLCEFLCpcaudiosfxspeech.rpf doesn't match the file in the setup's .cab file. The medium from which you are running the setup may be corrupted; contact your software vendor. With options to: Abort----Retry----Ignore I clicked "Retry" for two times before I clicked "Ignore." After everything else was said and done, I get the message saying it's been successfully installed. 1) What does that mean? 2) What do I need to do to fix it? I purchased the game on Amazon and downloaded it through them. Thank you in advance for your help.
  6. So I screwed up big time and I know what I did the problem is, however, I can't figure out how to recover from it. I was playing the LCPDFR mod through GTA IV yesterday when the game's weather was rainy. I hate driving a regular car around the game in the rain so I went to Niko's safehouse and saved there. Well, it was not until after I quit out of the game that I realized my mistake (almost instantly). Now, whenever I go to try and load the game up, it crashes after the music fades out because I had the mod started when I saved last and it's loading up from there. I tried downloading a save file from the web and putting it into the save folder in the DocumentsRockstar GamesGTAIVsavegames directory but it still crashes at the same point. I tried uninstalling the game and re-installing it..but it still didn't work. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  7. Is it possible to have an option to map your own keys? An option for different controls for the sirens and lights would be nice. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
  8. Thanks so much for your help! It's finally working!
  9. I think that was my problem. Is the EFLC folder also the one that needs to be set to NOT be read-only? Am I able to just install 0.95 right off the bat or do I need to install 0.91 and then update to 0.95?
  10. When you say to tell the installer to put LCPDFR in your EFLC folder, what exactly do you mean?
  11. I'm having issues getting LCPDFR to start. I have installed the GTAIV:EFLC and the LCPDFR says it has been installed successfully but I don't understand the issues the diagnostic program is showing me. They are shown below.
