  1. Have you got winRAR or 7zip?
  2. Topic Closed as per request of the OP.
  3. Have you tried uninstalling WLM and downloading the newest version from the Microsoft site? There could also be a problem with your FRAPS codec.
  4. Download TrafficFlowV5 You've placed High poly car mods into a game that doesn't support them. The game has a set amount of memory for vehicles, when the memory goes over this limit, the game freaks out and spawns tons of taxis in a effort to correct itself. Original GTA cars: Low Polygon count, don't freak out the engine HD Cars: Very high polygon count, freaks the game out.
  5. Use Windows LIVE movie maker. Its simple and not as advanced as other programs but you can select "Render: For high definition displays"
  6. I'm not too sure it would. But You can build a compatible Gaming PC on: www.overclockers.co.uk It'll tell you if anything's incompatible.
  7. It is indeed modeled. I've been inside when playing multiplayer with some friends, although it was on Xbox 360, the door was unlocked too.
  8. Open up Simple Native Trainer (if you have it) and select: Move Forward Near Door when next to the door, it'll teleport you through it and inside.
  9. Possibly. The mods cause the game to spawn more pedestrians / vehicles around you So yes, it could cause your game to lag depending on your system
  10. filelist.pak: C:Program FilesRockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto IVPCData As for popcycle, Tom H already stated where it should go
  11. Set it to 60fps and full screen Then, in windows LIVE movie maker, render it in 1080p Full HD
  12. Officer Harper of the High Speed Response Unit I'm mainly situated in a high performance police car and can respond to the more important callouts faster than average units.
  13. GTA IV is a terrible console ports. Even some of the high end PC's struggle to run it on max settings, I'd suggest turning things down one by one until your find a playable level.
  14. Cut the language, the others were only trying to help you. You need to update your game to 1.0.7.0
  15. I swear if GTA V has an ending that follows along the lines of RDR and L.A Noire then I will seriously reconsider R* Games being my favourite developer But I doubt they will, due to the after-story things to be done in GTA Games.. Side note: RDR's barn scene was and still is the only video game scene that has brought me close to tears. In my opinion, if you manage to cause an emotional effect on a player on that scale, then you have made a successful game *Anyone who's finished RDR will know what I'm on about"
  16. Yes, although it's advised to not save at all if LCPDFR has been activated at some point during the game session.
  17. Quick google search and I've found the solution: "The back of the case says you need to have Games For Windows Live installed. It will autoupdate the first time you run it, then the error should disappear. The game won't run without Live."
  18. Yes, although you will have to re-do any control settings you had before when starting a new game
  19. Well thats your problem. You've corrupted your savegame. Head into either' My Documents and delete your GTA IV savegames OR Appdata > Local > Rockstar Games (Delete everything relating to a saved game inside)
  20. Did you by any chance save the game while on duty?
  21. Loved that game. Great Graphics Great Storyline Great Main Character Great Voice acting Seriously HATED the ending. Little did I know that wouldn't be the last time Rockstar did that. Check out L.A Noires abrupt ending for example.
  22. Bought my laptop back in september so that I could take it to college and do my work. Manufactuer: HP Model: Pavillion Dv7 Processor: Intel Core i5-2410M CPU @ 2.30GHz (4 CPUS) HDD: 682GB RAM: 6144MB (6GB) Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 6490M @ 3800MB (1GB Dedicated to Gaming) Screen: 17" 1600 x 900 (32 bit, 60Hz) Found out a few days later that it could run GTA IV on high settings, wasn't expecting it too but still, result. I've got a wireless mouse 'cos using a touchpad for gaming is a trainwreck. Also got a 17" 3 fan cooling pad for when I do play games on it, to avoid burning out the GPU like I did on my older, weaker system.
  23. No. Although it's the same engine, its a newer, more updated, version. Think of the frostbite engine, it went something like this: Frostbite 1, Frostbite 2.1 (Bad Company 2) and Frostbite 2 (Battlefield 3).. BF3 Featured new lighting systems, new animations etc. TL:DR; Nope, LCPDFR could not simply be ported over to GTA V
  24. If your graphics card was fried you wouldn't be able to load GTA, Period.
  25. I've just looked at your RAM, that could be the issue. Minimum requirements states you need at least 2GB RAM to play the game. My suggestion; Buy more RAM
