    No?

    @SpikeTerm Just don't use those models that give you that issue. That's how you get an unstable game. Using properly optimized car mods, however, I can almost guarantee you will not have issues with.

    Channel 7 News in Australia ran a story regarding LSPDFR yesterday, misrepresenting that LSPDFR and other modifications are used as a simulation for killing police officers.  This has since been picked up by other media outlets, as well as the gaming press.  Obviously, this simply isn't the case, and you can read our statement regarding this matter below.

    Hey guys, this is where ill be posting the vast majority of my new works in progress, answering questions and comments you guys have and just having sort of a general discussion with you guys about what you guys can look for from me!

    I only have three things to ask of you guys;
    1. Please please please do not ask for a release date for anything posted in this thread!
    2. Please do not ask to be a tester, i'm still very very wary about allowing for people to have stuff early because leakers.
    3. Please don't ask for the models ahead of time.

    Now that that's all done with, lets get on with it!

    Current Works In Progress:

    1. Forza Horizon 3 CVPI

    Now with the release of my CHP pack, I've moved my priorities to this bad boy. I'm still waiting for a tool that i can get the engine texture for, so I need to decide if i want to wait to release this with the engine or just go without for now.

    A huge amount of progress has been made with the FH3 CVPI, when i say huge, I mean like its almost ready for game.

    2. 2013 Dodge Charger DEV

    A little side project that ive been working on for a little bit, kinda been delayed a little bit due to other projects, but this will be done soon!

    It will be released unlocked, and will feature all correct LODS, proper scaling to in game vehicles and handling identical to the police2 for ease of use!

    Also features some pretty nice textures if i do say so myself.

    Pics or it didn't happen:

    The engine im going to throw in there so you dont see just a texture

    3.Hometown departments (Windsor/O.P.P) or Fictional Charger pack. :

    I don't have really any screenshots for this, but i've been debating on what I should do after the two base models.

    alext17 reacted to Sam in Sam's New Year's Message
    The past year has been an interesting one to say the least here at LSPDFR.  Of course, we kicked things off with quite the event when LSPDFR 0.3 was released as part of our first ever livestream - something which, despite the many teething problems, quickly rose to prominence on Twitch and was apparently quite popular with everyone.  I think it will remain the most horrible experience that any of us have ever bared witness to, but nonetheless, we're looking forward to doing it again soon!

    Probably the best thing to come from 2016 though, by a mile, is the staggering number of new modifications that people have developed for GTA V.  Whether it was the number of new customisation possibilities brought by Emergency Uniforms Pack, the amazing array of new vehicle models and textures or simply the light which was cast upon us by ELS V, I think it is safe to say that this year has been one of, if not the most innovative that we've ever had.  This success is definitely something that we will be looking to build upon for 2017, and that's where our new team of Community Editors, who I'm sure many of you might have noticed, will come into play.

    While the idea of dedicating members of our team to working solely on the community is nothing new, it is something that we've never quite fully pulled the trigger on until now.  Many of you will remember that we placed a special banner throughout the website back in November, offering people the chance to become more involved with LSPDFR by joining our Community Team.  The response to this was incredibly encouraging, with us receiving many more messages of interest than expected.  Better yet, the range of people who contacted us was also really diverse with many newer members looking to get involved, as well as people who have been here since the very beginning.  Above all else though, it was really exciting to see just how passionate and engaged so many people within our community are about LSPDFR and this is something that is especially evident in the three members who we have picked for the role:

    @Fiskey111, an LSPDFR API developer:

    @PgUp, the avid Aussie:

    @Requies, a member since 2010!

    From all of us here, happy new year!  We hope that you will join with us in welcoming these new additions to our team - you'll certainly want to be following them closely this month if history is anything to go by.

    Sam.

    Second, why not? If you've nothing nice to say or to contribute to the OPs request, don't say anything.

    First of all, I'd like to wish everyone a happy and healthy New Year. Hopefully 2017 will be a better year than 2016, both in world relations, peace, economic improvement, and safety in general.

    I've recently been thinking of time. Time itself. The perception of time, the way we perceive time. And essentially, the allusion that it seems to go by faster the older we get. I just had one of those "holy shit" moments, realizing 2007 was 10 years ago. It certainly doesn't feel like it. Does anyone else feel this way? GTA IV is almost a decade old...

    Anyway, 10 years ago, I was in 4th grade (10 years old). Where were you 10 years ago? Where do you see yourself next year? Where do you see yourself in another 10 years?

    P.S. I'm not drunk.

    Emergency Lighting System for GTA V

    After much waiting and anticipation, the time has finally come.  Emergency Lighting System for Grand Theft Auto V is now available.  Much like its predecessor for GTA IV, ELS-V brings hundreds of new lighting patterns, a bunch of siren options and a beautiful new interface for controlling your vehicle's emergency equipment.  Developed by our own @Lt.Caine and @LMS, ELS-V is a must-have for any one that enjoys realistic police and emergency vehicles in their game.

    Realism Dispatch Enhanced

    As if the release of ELS-V wasn't enough, we've also been spoiled today by the latest release of Realism Dispatch Enhanced.  RDE is a massive modification that brings loads of new lore-friendly models and textures for vehicles, models and even police stations.  Also new in RDE 3.0 is a custom wanted level system that not only re-introduces the six star wanted level, but also fully utilizes all of the new assets added by the RDE modification, meaning that should the player become wanted in the airport, for example, they will be chased by airport police.

    Both of these modifications are available in our Downloads section now

    Part of what made this website fun was status updates. It allowed for people to actually be social and fuck around with each other without having to go into the forums, have shit placed in a wrong section, create unnecessary topics, or clog up the gallery with useless photos. I don't personally see a "lack of moderation tools" as an excuse to completely remove something everyone enjoyed, y'all have the ability to lock comments and delete the status altogether. I think this is plenty.

    Well hello once again the LCPDFR community. Today I create this thread separate from my Development Parts thread to show off the LCPD Valor Pack from IV remastered for the LSPD. These vehicles will have a real custom pattern used by the Federal Signal Valor and Spectrlux IR, fully set interiors, different units, and multiple agency skins. Here on this thread you will get the latest public updates and pictures of the current situation with the port.
