I doubt we'll BOTH get the exact answer(s) but you're not the only one who has this problem. Thing is - if you do happen to find the necessary visualsettings.dat file to turn the brightness of the reverse flashers down, you'd be also turning down the brightness of the lightbar. FYI, this problem is also for his CVPI in the Sheriff pack as well.

You're not the only one who won't use it - for a while. My plan is to just use what I have until I see more vehicle modelers update their current vehicles (if possible) to be compatible with ELS V.

Even if you install something like "Radiance V," the lights will still look - well - dull and not bright enough. You will then need to go to your settings section (look for graphics) in the pause menu when you fully launch GTAV and like what Slendis just said, make sure your PostFX and Shader Quality settings are at "High" or above (you'll have to scroll down to look for "PostFX" and "Shader Quality"). Otherwise, the lights will still look like what's in the photo you provided. Good luck!

Once you navigate yourself to the vehicles.meta file, scroll down until you see this of the model(s) in question: <flags>_________________</flags> After you do that, word it exactly how Desmond98 has it (EXTRAS_STRONG). You can copy this and paste it anywhere within that line. Here's an example from one of my models in the vehicles.meta file: <flags>FLAG_HAS_LIVERY FLAG_LAW_ENFORCEMENT FLAG_DONT_SPAWN_IN_CARGEN FLAG_IS_OFFROAD_VEHICLE FLAG_HAS_INTERIOR_EXTRAS FLAG_REPORT_CRIME_IF_STANDING_ON EXTRAS_STRONG</flags> I could have put it at the front or maybe somewhere in the middle. That first model is an E-450 but I agree with Jurr - meaning - in a sense that we need a more variety of ambulance models just like the police vehicles.

I'm hoping (to see one day) a regular Caprice similar to the ones 72will and majorpaine2015 did (not a Christmas Tree version) but with MORE options like (for example): The option to change the rims between what we see now and what you see in the picture of the real model since agencies have one or the other. The option to get rid of the pushbar (as an extra) because not one of the Caprice models that are here can give you that option since agencies may not have that on their models. Don't get me wrong - the ones released on here are cool and it takes time to get it going for release but you don't have too many options to deal with. Again, hopefully that'll happen - soon.
