  1. Quick update, tomorrow I will be updating to 0.4.2 with some quick bug fixes, as well as further working on a beta build for Patreon release. Features that will need to be tested in this build include: Seatbelt observation on traffic stops New field sobriety test Court case evidence system integration Priors/times stopped to records check And some other neat features 🙂 Stay tuned This is not caused by Interaction+, it looks to be a null reference crash in the vanilla LSPDFR arrest manager function
  2. You must open the Interaction+ menu next to the ped (default "T") and get their ID first, then they should show up in the computer system. Keep in mind that Interaction+ does not stop the ped forever by default, and they will be dismissed in 30 seconds after stopping if not stopped by Stop The Ped or by changing the Interaction+.ini value "DismissTime" I think I have found the spot I missed error handling at, this should be completely fixed in the next release Read this topic, bug in LSPDFR API:
  3. The option should become available to you after the ped is in handcuffs in the computer system under the ped's ID
  4. In StopThePed, you can search the ped via the menu or with the context key (default "G") and it will work the same. That's a lot of errors lol, you can send me the file and I could take a look at it but you might be better off moving that one somewhere and replacing it with the default one for now
  5. I had a couple of ideas last night that I think would be good additions, tell me what you guys think: Police Belt Window puncher I'm hoping to add a script to have peds refuse to get out of the car sometime and roll the window up and lock their doors, the tool could then be used to bust their windows and remove them from the car Gloves This one might be a tough one to get to work but I think it would be a good edition if I can find a way to do it. You would be able to put on and take off gloves from the menu when dealing with blood and other nasty things Hand Sanitizer Similar to above, this would allow your ped to use hand sanitizer for added immersion after particularly nasty situations Police Radio I am currently waiting to here back from the author of Officer Status Plugin to see if he would be okay with me reviving my old project (https://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/17441-immersion-officer-status-menu/) and adding into Interaction+ with improvements, as well as customizable codes, meanings, and dispatch responses Request Search Warrant from Computer As an alternative to calling a K9 unit, if you smell the order of narcotics and the suspect is refusing search, you would be able to get an electronic search warrant approved for the vehicle by the court through the computer system You must first search a ped using StopThePed or Search Warrant, then open the Interaction+ menu near the trunk of a police vehicle and select "Store Evidence". Then you type in the pieces of evidence you wish to store separated by a comma and press enter when done
  6. Hmm weird, could you post the full log file? I have been playing pretty heavily and haven't got the crash since updating. What pops up on your screen before the crash happens and how often does it happen?
  7. You have an error in your SearchWarrant general.xml file, I believe line 49:
  8. Also, ensure you are using the right menu when issuing tickets on traffic stops. Are you by chance using the default interaction menu and not the interaction+ traffic stop menu to issue tickets? Try issuing with the traffic stop menu and it should work. I will prevent tickets from being issued with the normal menu on traffic stops in the future, I am no longer sure if EUP is causing this problem or people are just using the wrong menu haha
  9. Which menu are you using to issue citations? The Interaction menu with the "T" key by default, or the traffic stop menu with the "Y" key by default?
  10. Lol that explains it! Are you able to issue citations fine with EUP and the traffic stop menu? I will add checks to make sure that people are using the traffic stop menu on traffic stops in the future to prevent this from happening
  11. Are you using EUP? I am pretty sure I have linked it to this bug, and plan to add compatibility in future updates
  12. You must get their ID using Interaction+ through the menu as of right now, STP integration is something I am going to look into adding in the future
  13. This is a problem with either traffic policer or STP, Interaction+ does not set intoxication levels without confirming it with these plugins first, and the modifier attempts to artificially lower the amount of intoxicated peds made by these plugins, however one of the two APIs is not working (I suspect Traffic Policer). See this post for more info:
  14. It is best used along with StopThePed, but with the proper .ini settings increasing the dismissal time it can be used by itself to stop and identify peds. Simply open the interaction menu near peds and they will be stopped
  15. If it is crashing on start up usually means you have something installed wrong, if you send me the log file I can probably tell you what's happening That first crash is very odd, I have added error handling to that function but that crash is probably rare. As for the second issue, does this happen often? The reason it was doing it before was because the ped headshot cache was filled so my plugin failed to create one and stopped working, but there may be some cases in which the deletion isn't taking place and the headshots slowly fill up the cache over time. The third issue is also likely due to this as running a records check generates a headshot. The ped headshot cache limit is 35 images, is it possible that you could have generated that number in your second play through? I will have to add more aggressive deletion of these and I can probably fix the issue I experienced the crash and have added measures to prevent it, I am going to play test it and make sure its gone before release In other news, there will probably be another bug fixing/stability update coming before I begin the beta testing phase of development of the evidence integration, Q&A XML file, priors/past citations, and a whole lot of other new features including a new sobriety test 🙂
  16. I have an idea, I can add a menu offset variable to each XML file that will give the user customizable chrage/citation menu lengths so your custom text can fit. This will also help in the next version where the headings of each charge section will hopefully be customizable
  17. If you're talking about the charge names, they are customizable .XML files that come with the plugin that can be changed to your liking. There are a couple of customized XML files already on the site if you want to test them out: (I believe he is working on a citation file as well)
  18. I could probably make some work around for it to make this possible, will add to my list of things to do. Right now you should be able to create multiple arrest reports with the same charge, but I agree its not efficient. I'm not quite sure what you mean, could you explain a little more? And I am always open to suggestions 🙂
  19. Hello, Since upgrading Interaction+ to 0.4.1, I have gotten reports and confirmed a bug when using this function. If this function is called while on an active traffic stop on a car with passengers, the passengers will leave the vehicle before it drives off. This was not an issue in 0.3 so I believe something must have gotten changed between versions. Cancelling with the Shift key does not produce this issue. Please let me know if there are any plans to fix this function or a workaround, I would like to avoid simulating the shift key press if possible. Thanks
  20. I will look into adding error handling to this function to stop the crash, is there anything in common with these crashes that you can tell? Just found the cause, there was a bug that if the ped is stuck but still moving, their task is still in progress so my plugin doesn't perform a timeout check after 10 seconds. Bug will be fixed next release, then after 10 seconds of the ped being stuck (might lower timeout) they will be teleported to the right position and the test will continue
  21. I recommend writing arrest reports while you currently have the ped on scene, as this adds a persistence to the computer entry to where it won't be scheduled for deletion until the ped is transported/despawned/dropped off. In the next update sentencing parameters will be heavily integrated with evidence you collect as well as any priors that are present for the ped, and will be weighted appropriately Known bug, LSPDFR+ tries to spawn something while the game is paused and fails. Looking to fix in the next update, remove LSPDFR+ to fix or limit time spent storing evidence in the mean time
  22. How often does this happen? It is probably similar to the issue when ordering the driver out all the passengers got out before. It seems to happen when traffic stops are ended through the LSPDFR API, I haven't personally seen this bug happen but it has been reported before
  23. If I were to set up a patreon for Interaction+ which would be set at a low price and allow access to early releases and upcoming beta builds, how many people would be interested in this? With the upcoming planned updates and new features I figured now would be a good time to ask Sounds like a good idea 🙂 I will add it to the list of planned features Hmm I am at a loss then, I have made it consistent with both STP and Traffic Policer APIs: if (scl <= (modifier * 100)) { //ped is intoxicated } else { Traffic_Policer.API.Functions.SetPedDrugsLevels(ped, false, false); ped.Metadata.stpAlcoholDetected = false; ped.Metadata.stpDrugsDetected = false; } There must be an error in one of these plugins affecting the setting of these values. Keep in mind that my plugin does not set the intoxication values without first getting confirmation that the ped is intoxicated from one of these two plugins, and the modifier simply tries to lower the amount of intoxication set by these plugins, but it doesn't seem to work. Do you know if there is less incidence of intoxication without I+ installed?
  24. Nah I personally don't use it, I actually developed the computer addon because I was tired of C+ crashing to desktop all the time, not sure if that issue has been fixed yet. However C+ provides more information than this plugin will such as addresses. My computer system will have past charges/citations as well as evidence integration in the next update hopefully
  25. Are you using the default .ini file? It was working when I tested it, and I put in the version on the site and it is still working for me. By default the control is Dpad right + X to open the main interaction menu, and Dpad right + A for the other buttons Hmm not sure where Computer+ gets its license info from, I use the LSPDFR api to generate all info for the peds to try and keep consistent. In the future when I add ped preivious arrests/tickets, it will vary from what Computer+ says as it will draw charges from my XML files. And thank you, I try to get it as smooth as possible 🙂 its hard with such a large plugin and highly variable playing environments
