  1. My laptop doesn't have a num pad, even an embedded one that requires the FN key. So I can't use non-els setups due to not being able to activate just lights. Another reason I can't wait for Illumination 2.0!
  2. I use a logitech dual action gamepad, and use some plugin that maps the controller to the xbox controller that the game expects. It works great, but I always wanted a steering wheel for patrols. If I had one, I would use the gamepad for on-foot actions and the steering wheel for driving.
  3. If there is enough interest, I plan on starting to make some Vermont skins for a variety of cruisers. Almost finished a Burlington PD skin, and starting a VSP skin. Anyone interested?
  4. Police Department: Vermont State Police Images: http://cmsimg.burlingtonfreepress.com/apps/pbcsi.dll/bilde?Site=BT&Date=20120430&Category=NEWS07&ArtNo=120430006&Ref=AR&MaxW=640&Border=0&Questions-linger-following-state-trooper-s-fatal-shooting-burglary-suspect And I am certainly willing to be patient. Thanks!
  5. This would be a great mod! Sometimes, ELS confuses which tone to go to, or sometimes I get all three playing at once.
  6. Wow their car is almost identical with the striping. Thanks!
  7. Using GIMP. I could lower the stripes, but then they would be much lower on the door handles. Guess I'll either do that or bend them a little and see what happens.
  8. Tom, I used bxbug's cvpi template to place the stripes along the door handles and to position everything else. The problem is, either end of the stripe is up too high on the car.
  9. I am trying to make an accurate Vermont State Police skin for cvpi's, but the cvpi car model is slightly different than a real cvpi. When I try to draw a straight stripe, it, ends up too high above the tailights and going up onto the hood. I have included pictures of what I am talking about. You can see how the line is supposed to follow the door handles, but when I do that, the front of the stripe goes over the fender and stretches the text. Is there a better way of doing this, or am I stuck with this? Thanks, Doug
  10. So, is this gonna happen soon? I have multiplayer figured out.
  11. Can this be used to replace the biff in the towingservices mod?
  12. Sure seems like the police don't get enough respect around here, especially after seeing all the roger pion supporters on facebook and all. So, thank you for recognizing what it means to be a police officer and respecting that.
  13. Haha, asking what someone's favorite Cash song is is likely going to yield an "all of them" answer. Every song he did was a work of art, there are very few that I don't care for. Wish he was still alive today
  14. Knownwolf, I really appreciate you helping me. It works great now. You are a lifesaver!
  15. Changed it out with what you just posted, and it's still doing the same thing. I think I might just replace the car with a different CVPI model.
  16. This is what I have so far: ^ emerglights.png ^ ^ emerglights_d.png ^ All though I am not sure why emerglights_d would be a laptop instead of emergency lights??? Doesn't make sense. ^ emerglights_n.png ^ ^ emerglights1.png ^
  17. There was just one in the "allbluelights option" folder, called emerglights or something. I'm not sure why it would show as a clear lightbar if there were still others to change though?
  18. I tried to change my els lights on a crown vic I had installed to all blue, using the "allbluelights" option. It is basically just an emerglights picture that replaces the default one in the police.wtd file. Once I installed it, my lightbar looks clear and shows no lights. All the other lights (grille lights etc.) are working fine, but the lightbar isn't. What else do I need to do?
  19. I would be interested in doing a police officer role. I have teamspeak, but haven't figured out multiplayer yet, and don't even know if it will crash my computer. But I am certainly willing to try if you could help me set it up.
  20. I think the only way to do it is to go over and try to steal the car, and before you get in, turn and arrest that person.
  21. How do I get the blue lights to work? I tried to replace the emergency lights image in OpenIV with the blue lights one, but now the lightbar won't light up at all? What am I missing?
  22. Can't wait for that dakota!
