I'm not 100% sure, but it sounds like what I had. My PC just shut off (screen black, fans revving down from one second to another). I learned that thats how an emergency shutdown looks like, which the CPU performs either when it gets too hot or when it isn't getting enough juice from the PSU anymore. This always happened after a certain time playing Battlefield, after I bought a new and bigger GPU. If you have a chance to, I'd try to borrow a PSU from a friend (a more powerful if possible) and see if that solves the problem.

Your PSU is too weak to handle the GPU and CPU at full load. Had the same problem with Battlefield 3. Fixed it by upgrading my PSU. You probably made a mistake configuring your gaming PC.

GTA IV doesn't recognize the PS3 controller, unfortunately. So afaik you'd have to use a third party program to make it work.

Yup, he is completely right. Also, if you get the reciever or the cabled controller, you won't need XPadder, because GTA IV recognizes those controllers and their respective windows drivers.

We don't know, to be honest. I can see them dropping GTA V PC, simply because they're too lazy to make a proper PC version. Considering how bad the PC version of GTA IV was on it's release (1.0.0.0; 1.0.1.0 and 1.0.2.0) and how the PC gamers reacted to it (refusing to buy - which is completely right) - it might very well be R* says "fuck it". It's a ton of work porting a game from console to PC and R* might decide that it's not worth the effort for the PC gamers. (Which makes me very sad, since PC gaming is far from dead - disregarding what all the console kiddies say) Oh yeah and slimory: GTA IV PC made R* good money after they put out some patches, don't start throwing around with arguments you can't support. I usually the police "paint" their cars to make the more visible, a camouflage livery kinda works against that idea. To talk about quality, it looks alright, pretty good for a first job.

Can only be done with zmodeler, which implies basic 3D modelling skill and an unlocked model. I'm pretty sure he's looking for the whole model from SF, those vehicles only have the rambars from Driver SF. You can tell by the credits, and by the fact that the Dodge Charger from SF is an SRT-8, but the one you linked a regular one. I think there's 1 unlocked Driver SF CVPI in the downloads section and a 2001 CV LX and CVPI in the works here: About the Charger, most people refuse to take the SF model, since it's an SRT-8 and none (or close to) police agencies use the SRT-8. Most of them use the Police R/T. It would be a lot of work of modifying the Driver SF model to be an R/T, on top of that we also have an Police Charger in decent quality and polygon count from one of the NFS games, which basically means converting one from Driver SF would be wasted time.
