  1. You obviously are complaining. Maybe calm down a bit, too. People don't usually help out assholes with a knack for using foul language in a discussion board. As for making your own; Youtube and Google are great. Though I already told you, use Zmodeler. Figure it out, then judge others. Don't forget, we all do this for free. I feel any average Joe should be happy with simply being able to use other peoples' work, period. But, then again, society continues to befuddle me on the daily.
  2. Peds overtaking you at lights is part of the algorithm involving how vehicle AI works. I don't think anyone has found a feasible way to combat the atrocious AI in GTA5. I definitely understand your frustration. It can be quite annoying when you are sitting there and a ped decides to scrap the entire side of your car on the left so they can take a right turn on a red. xD
  3. I honestly like this idea, but maybe with a set chance. That way it won't happen every time. Then again, my focus has always been to NOT die, lol. I play as if I'm actually on duty. If I have tons of suspects attacking, I get my ass outta there!
  4. That's what happens when lead developers let everyone and anyone use their models. Then again, we could always use more people learning how to make their own models. Then those new developers can make ELS-compatible CVPI'S or FPIU's. That would be a hindsight better than people complaining that we haven't made free updates that are "good enough" for them. ;) Zmodeler, check it out! We'd love to see your next new model so we can complain about it.
  5. No problem. It's part of my Custom Visuals file. Check it out sometime. It'll help teach you how to change vehicle lighting, edit carvariations.meta, etc.
  6. Try reinstalling the game. With the past Biker DLC, on top of the Import/Export DLC, I noticed insane amounts of lag, even loading through Steam. I tried everything, but it eventually hit a point where I could only play for 2-3 minutes before I crashed. Reinstalling sucked, but mine works perfectly now. Good luck to you. When it comes to modding GTA5, I've found it is far more stressful and work-intensive than almost any other title!
  7. No offense, but I would not be worrying about enabling infinite add-on cars with those specs. Remove any custom vehicle models or add-ons and see if that helps. I'm surprised you can get it to load at all with RPH.
  8. There you go. That is a completed "carvariations" line for any car you want. Simply change the name at the top to whatever vehicle it will be for and change the "sirensettings" near the bottom to your desired setting. ADD THESE LINES TO CARVARIATIONS.META.txt
  9. True, but I've had events happen like that before by pulling over a regular ped. I pulled a guy over for running into another car and he got out and started stabbing me. I've also had random peds tase me and drive off. It may be far more unlikely, maybe, but it must be within the code for LSPDFR itself for that to happen.
  10. Sadly, there is not. Hence the reason I don't follow anything. Just keep checking back every few days or once a week. Look at the section your mods are in and see if they were recently updated. I check Vehicle Models, Scripts/Plug-ins, Character, Audio, Visual & Data Files, and Misc once a week. Make a habit out of it and you'll take no more than a minute checking for new content.
  11. Just being honest here; who seriously plays LSPDFR without a single plug-in? I got bored with the same 6 callouts within 30 minutes..
  12. You definitely haven't experienced it yet. I've had folks shoot me from the driver's seat and passenger seat. They've used firearms and tasers before. Sometimes they get out to shoot, or get out to stab me with a knife. Just keep playing; I'm sure you'll be ambushed and murdered eventually.
  13. This looks like you didn't adjust the sirensettings="" for that model. Make sure you change your sirensettings="" for that model to 14 or 20, assuming you've already changed the templates (and you were looking for all blue, of course).
  14. You have a point. Maybe add a standard DUSM vest, and a Sheriff's Marshal vest.
  15. I have law enforcement experience, as well. You are right. A DUSM will only wear uniforms with U.S. Marshals. Sometimes the USMS needs the help of local law enforcement, so they will "deputize" some officers into the Marshals Service for the extent of the operation. This allows local officers to carry weapons nationwide and/or effect arrests for Federal violations (Title 18). I've added a picture to show they most definitely exist, lol. Great job, buddy. Fix the clipping on the left shoulder patch and it'll be perfect. Or, maybe replace it with a US flag?
  16. Did you change the templates? Did you also change the sirensettings for each car?
  17. I recommend brighter, it's really not overbright. I just made bright for one specific person, to be honest. I am also not familiar with Darkmyre's DLC.
  18. Exactly what you did. Change the vehicle name and sirensetting, then copy and paste all of the text into your existing carvariations.meta. I personally prefer the one in dlcpacks>mpvalentines2 because I've never had any problems using it to edit existing and add-on vehicles.
  19. Which graphics mods do you use for those screenshots? They look extraordinary.
  20. Follow the ReadMe and page description VERY CAREFULLY. It explains it well. Beyond that, you'll need to look into editting vehicle templates further. I'm not sure why you are mentioning mpheist, nor what you are talking about when you say you changed your carvariation.txt of mpheist to mpvalentine. I recommend putting your backups back in there and trying again after you've researched vehicle templates a tad more. It's pretty complicated, so try not to jump right into it unless you are experienced.
  21. @Captain14 With the new CVPI update, did you make changes to any of the files other than the .ytd/.ytf's?
  22. Either your computer cannot handle the extra graphics algorithms or it wasn't installed correctly. All issues involved in Reshade beyond the installation of the presets should be reported to Crosire at www.Reshade.me, whom is the creator of Reshade.
  23. As we all do thank you again for you swift response. Hopefully we will hear something soon.
  24. Hey there, everyone paying attention. I feel this has definitely been brought up before, and I might be in the wrong place, but.. I've had a few sips of whiskey after a long day at work and it got me thinking; can we expect to see a LSPD:FR v.0.4 at any point in the future? Obviously, none of this would be possible without The One Plugin, but we all know very well there is still a few basket loads of bugs, problems, exceptions, and room for new features. Thanks for the time wasted by anyone interested in responding.
  25. No problem. I recommend Captain14's Tahoe, or his BCSO sheriff pack. It also has a great Tahoe model.
