If you're replacing cars, then you'll have to find the default paths for the meta files, and installation path stated above. However, for any add-on vehicles, I highly recommend the custom cars DLC on gta5-mods.com. Basically, any add-on cars and all their files are put into one single folder and not scattered all over the place across the game files. Makes add-on projects such as new departments a million times easier. My humble 2 cents. Good luck!

Is SmartRadio going to have a feature where you can call for localized K-9 units? PoliceRadio allows you to call a for K-9s, but that same unit appears no matter where you are. If SmartRadio had a sort of CustomBackup integration of sorts, that would be amazing. I have multiple different add-on departments in my game, so I was wondering about that.

I'm trying to make a livery pack for a hometown PD that I want to release to the community. I'm using their current vehicle setup, but I'm missing a model that will work. I know that what I'm looking for here is a bit picky regarding vehicles. But I've been scouring the forums here and at gta5-mods.com and cannot, for the life of me, find a pre-2016 slicktop FPIU that supports liveries, is ELS-enabled, and doesn't have that (in my opinion) god-awful wrap around pushbar. The closest thing I've found to what I'm looking for thus far is POLICESCO's unmarked 2013 FPIU, but his unmarked vehicles don't support liveries. If anybody would be willing to make one or point me in the direction of one that I may have somehow missed? Thank you for reading this, and I really wanna get this pack out ASAP!

@Thehurk I have no clue how ZModeler really works but is there any way to include slicktop versions of all the cars if we wanted them without making completely separate cars? I've been looking for a red/blue slicktop ELS '15 Tahoe forever, and you've always came through with flying colors in the past.

@Nwaps How soon before you can crank a Pennsylvania State Police graphic set out? I live right next to one of their barracks and would love to have lore-friendly PSP-based liveries in my game. (Also, some trivia since this focuses on State agencies; the Pennsylvania State Police was the first "modern" state police agency established, beginning its service in 1905.)

I also recommend @Runt. He's a retired LEO and plays the game much more realistically, plus has some awesome insights on the job. Learning a lot from his videos, I always recommend them.

As far as I'm aware, it's also against community guidelines to involve money in requests. Not trying to moderate or anything, just an FYI/PSA for future reference because I don't like anybody getting in trouble. As far as your texture, the only way to get better is to just make more textures. If you're having trouble, I recommend Polecat's tutorial on YouTube. That's a really good tutorial, and it helped me learn how to do it myself. You'll get there eventually, just practice.

I use my old 360 controller for driving/piloting and switch to the keyboard for on-foot things like traffic stops and shootouts, as K&M is much more accurate than a controller.

As for myself, I also use a mix of ELS and Non-ELS vehicles, roughly half and half. And that's with RDE installed, we're talking roughly fifty cars give or take, lol. (Yes, I replaced all the RDE cars.) But for those vehicles that don't have ELS, this is by far the best thing to ever happen to them. Personally, I love lightbars and anything to do with lighting patterns, so this mod is beyond beautiful to the core. I understand your reasoning for wanting to discontinue working on this post-2.8.0, however I do sincerely hope you'll reconsider it. I believe I speak for hundreds, if not thousands, when I say that I'd hate to see BEL go by the wayside.
