  1. * COUGH * MILITARY, POLITICS, BEING IN A GANG, EMS, FIRE DEPARTMENT * COUGH * Even if you feel comradeship it doesn't okay defending them when they're in the wrong.

  3. Shoot to kill policies should be unlawful, shoot to disable should be the goal...
  4. You're a Faux News follower yes? Because, I do not HATE cops. I HATE those who use excessive force when it is obviously not necessary. And 6 officers in 5 seconds. And the local media probably got that number from POLICE. But you know the police, they always lie right? And I know what crack does to you, I have crack head family members, maybe they shoulda backed off and just closed off the area then rather than getting 5 feet away from him. The reference to my age was uncalled for, and pointless. Referring to someone's age means nothing in a "debate", it is a childish move, only to be used by immature people. So please, instead of trying to tell me I'm not old enough to understand, grow up yourself and stop using immature moves like this "in order to gain the upper hand."
  5. Did the cop shoot him 15 times? Yes or No? YES Cops do make cops look bad. I don't think the media puts people out there in uniform, shoots people to get it on video, JUST to make cops look bad. 15 times is over board if you ask me, even if he is high on crack. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4cAAM4TXPdw&feature=plcp That's excessive. 46 FUCKING TIMES? If the police DID NOT shoot him 46 times it wouldn't have been a big issue, 3 or so shots is enough to take a person down.
  6. I do, but those people who we give a gun, and give the power to use that gun more than anyone else minus the military, should be held to higher standards than an average person.
  7. That's like saying we expect the same of the president, as we do a crack head.
  8. Supporting those who make departments look bad is a terrible thing to do. There IS excessive force in police departments. This is what I don't understand. People who defend those who are blatantly in the wrong because they're part of the same organization. It's not the media who makes cops look bad. It's cops who make cops look bad. Though, with that in mind, you must put things in perspective, police have split seconds to react to what happens in front of them. They can't spend a few minutes planning what to do if it's happening right now in front of them. People make bad decisions when they make them split seconds, police are expected to be perfect all the time, which you and I, and most everyone, should know is impossible. I defend police if they're in the right. If they're in the wrong, we shouldn't go around parading something of their false innocence. Anyways, it probably looks like I have ADD right now if you're reading this, I go from topic to topic. Gah xD
  9. At least the 3 that were at my house, they are out of touch with "today's kids" and I find it extremely hilarious on the inside but I had to keep a straight face :(.
  10. Not everywhere has the severity of armed crimes such like the United States, Canada and Mexico, etc. Countries with stricter gun restrictions lack the necessity to arm officers, with tazers or pistols, which according to you, have the same use as they are both potentially lethal, as is everything. A baton can be "less lethal" hit people enough times in the right spot and it's lethal. Maybe we should remove batons, etc. I don't want to put politics into this matter, even though it is extremly evident, as it'll just be a free for all. xD ANYWAYS D:
  11. What I'm saying is that "Less Lethal" force should take priority rather than just shooting people. A Police officer job is to enforce the laws of the legislature, and make sure violators are prosecuted in the judicial system. Lethal force should be a very last resort, which has not always been the case.
  12. Likelihood. Are you more likely to kill someone shooting them? Or more likely to kill them with a tazer? It's common sense. People's immediate reaction to violence, especially police officers, is to open fire. I'd rather be armed with a tazer than a pistol, more often useful than a sidearm.
  13. It's better to let the justice system do its way, rather than take the system into your own hands if you can prevent lethal weapons from being used in a safe manner, it's better.
  14. Thanks guys I'm attending the meeting in 2 weeks. Can't wait :P.
  15. Haha. That's insightful. I woulda tried to do it in FD (Kinda interested in EMS) but they have no explorer program, I would have to travel even further for a nearby city's. I haven't decided totally what to do with my life. But I believe it's gonna be in the public sector so, as the guy on the travel agency commercials says, We'll see where the waves take me :P. Yeah, Another thing I'm kinda worried about. I'm not in the best of shape, obviously sense I spend time here :P jk. My city is about 50k people, idk how many are in the explorer program though.
  16. Haha, I wish. But for the time now, no, I am from America. Though when the time comes, I wish to move to CA :P.
  17. Hello. To those of you reading this, and have participated in your local Police Explorer Program, I was wondering how it is like. I just don't wanna go in there and be like the youngest one there (Age requirement is 14, and I'm 14 :P) and also, how is the program overall in your opinion. The meeting starts at 7 CST tonight and 2 weeks from now, idk if I'll be able to make this one though, thanks ahead of time....
  18. Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree! xD
  19. Those things are for whackers. Most PDs ( That I've seen ) Have a lightbar and flashing reverse lights. I can't find ANY car to match that on GTA IV and it drives me crazy. :P
  20. And on the job. When they got called to my house they were throwing F-Bombs everywhere :P
  21. If you would like you can look at some of the work I've released, if it's good enough send me a PM :)
