JCPSE's WIP vehicle textures (Current project: LSPD skin pacl
jcpse replied to jcpse's topic in Vehicle Modification Showroom
now working on a new LSPD skin pack -
Hello, I am speaking specifically about LSPDFR in this thread; sorry for any confusion. At this point I only play the game in SP w/ LSPDFR loaded. Without plugins loaded, I get between 70-100fps, but usually closer to the 70-80 range in the city. Once I load LSPDFR, I struggle to keep 60 fps (Single monitor 1080p). I see your numbers and I would love that.. of course you have both better CPU and GPU. Let me get more numbers so I can add to my case. I appreciate the help.

Hey everybody, I was just watching firstthirtyminutes video and looked up his specs to see how his gameplay is so smooth.....16gb ram, an i7-6700k and a gtx 980... and then there's me who j ust upgraded to a gtx 1080 (from a gtx 970) and actually experienced a much better gameplay experience with my 970! I am baffled. I wanted to reach out and see what you all used for settings on the NVIDIA control panel and in-game, and if you had any advise in particular about how to make this game run better with mods now that we are at patchday 15 (I believe?). My game is very lightly modded and I use MVGA and I am getting fps in the 40's and 50's with dips into the 30's very frequently, especially when driving fast. Any help is appreciated because I have been messing with this for weeks and can't figure it out. My Specs: i7-4770 @ 3.4 gtx 1080 16GB DDR3-1866 Ram My settings: FXAA: on MSAA: off Vsync: off Other settings: high or very high Population density and variety: None In the advanced settings menu, all are off. In the Nvidia control panel, performance mode is selected, vsync also turned off, etc. I have in seen the pinned thread in the "GTA V" section of this forum and I have applied the settings in the past and I don't see it having much applicability now that it is 2 years later and we face a slew of new issues with all the extra game data. I hope somebody takes the time to help me and hopefully others who are experiencing these issues. The main reason I bought a 1080 was for better GTA performance and everything BUT GTA got better after the upgrade. Thanks again

What specs should I have for optimal LSPDFR experience?
jcpse replied to iMalcom's topic in Computers, Technology & Gaming
Crazy isn't it? I just upgraded my 970 to a 1080 and still have the same i7-4770 processor w/ 16 go of ram and when I go on duty I get in the 40-50's on all high settings. It's pretty ridiculous how I optimized GTA V is compared to playing even the most demanding games at well over 100 fps. -

Tired of LSPD, SAHP, and BCSO skins? I was too, so I bring to you a new skin pack for the law enforcement authority for the Vespucci Beach subdivision of Los Santos: Vespucci Beach Police! I hope you all enjoy using these as much as I enjoyed making them. These are for the 6 models from BradM's BCSO pack. This is a fictional skin for a fictional Department, because I really wanted to do something outside the box from a traditional LSPD, SAHP, BCSO or LSSD skin. It is very loosely based off the generic old-school design a few NH and MA departments use. You may not reupload these skins, edited or unedited, to this (LCPDFR.com) or any other site. Please leave comments with any issues or vehicle suggestions. Please leave a review with how you think I did. I like feedback and being new, I need it to better my skills and reputation. Bugs: For some reason between the edges of the door on the B-Pillar, there is a little black spot on both sides of the tahoe. I believe this is just caused by part of the texture mapping. It's barely noticeable, however. Made for: -

As a new aspiring and progressing skin maker, I gotta say that I really appreciate feedback and props, so I just wanted to pass along the same to you on this skin pack. You have so many vehicles included, and the design and your work is AWESOME! I definitely am going to download and enjoy this pack. Keep up the good work!

Just out of curiosity, what does "do not edit without permission" mean on the template? Without getting too into the weeds it just seems like it means that anybody who would want to create a skin from the template would need to consult with you first. -

I bring to you the LSPD's new Graphics package...and they've taken some design hints from Tewksbury MA PD's cruisers. **last update this pack is going to get for a while...enjoy!** These are for the 4 models from t0y's Paleto Bay pack, OfficerNorcal's LSPD Pack, officerunderwood and thehurk 2015 Chargers, jasonct and thehurk 2016 FPIUs, thehurk's 2015 Tahoe, and OfficerUnderwood's 2016 Impala. This skin is a fictional LSPD Skin loosely based off what I could find of the Tewksbury MA police dept ( I made this skin off the only 2-3 halfway decent pictures I could find). There are some parts of this skin that I know are not 100% accurate including: Exact fonts and sizing of certain components You may not reupload these skins, edited or unedited, to this or any other site. Please leave comments with any issues or vehicle suggestions. Please leave a review with how you think I did. I like feedback and being new, I need it to better my skills and reputation. Made for: -
I took everybody's advice... just swapped all my components into a full size tower case and in 7 days, this bad larry will be showing up at my door...

JCPSE's WIP vehicle textures (Current project: LSPD skin pacl
jcpse replied to jcpse's topic in Vehicle Modification Showroom
New current Project: LSPD (Tewksbury MA based) I got bored of my design that wasn't based off anything, so I decided to get started on a LSPD design based of Tewksbury MA PD. It's a very loose following of it's real life counterpart, as I could only find a few pics of their cruisers and had to guess at some stuff. -
That's a good idea that I din't really think of... I'll have to check in with them. Last time I walked by, I do remember seeing a 1070 in the window (which I would definitely settle for for the right price).

Thanks for all of your input! I was thinking the processor would be the better upgrade, but taking your experiences into account I will probably go for the GPU then. May have to wait a little while since all the stupid bitcoin miners are driving the prices up...

I have an i7-4770 @ 3.4ghz

I'm looking to bump up my performance: mostly my FPS with GTA V. My current System info is in my signature. I know the talk has been had here many a times, but I wanted to see with my circumstances what y'all thought. I will eventually upgrade both CPU and GPU, and my guess is that I would get better improvements by upgrading the CPU before the GPU, but I wanted to get the community's input on it as well. Thanks, and your vote / suggestions are appreciated.

Here you will find 2 skins, one for a 2013 Chevrolet Caprice and the other for a 2015 Dodge Charger. Sorry the screens are low- quality. I only made this skin for two vehicles because I got kinda bored with the project and wanted to move onto something else. If you really like it, let me know and I will do my best to make it for a couple more vehicles. This skin is a fictional LSPD Skin. You may not reupload these skins, edited or unedited, to this or any other site. Please leave comments with any issues or vehicle suggestions. Please leave a review with how you think I did. I like feedback and being new, I need it to better my skills and reputation. Made for: https://www.modding-forum.com/downloads/file/46-2013-chevrolet-caprice-ppv-los-santos-sheriff’s-department/ and any 2015 charger that uses the dev model created by "thehurk" Known Bugs: -The license plate mapping for the caprice (based on the template included from the author) does not work, so the license plate on the caprice is just the generic SA. I do not know how to fix this. If you do, please PM me. -

I hope this is the right place to post this and if not, I apologize in advance. I am am looking for assistance from a couple people with testing skins that I create. I am trying to come out with a new skin pack every couple weeks now and just need one or maybe two people for each pack to tell me how it looks in their game and give suggestions for tweaks before release. If you're interested please PM me!
