LIEBHERR LTM1500 Truck Crane
You're not breaking any rules by uploading this kind of content here, you're actually welcome to upload anything (as long as it's not offensive, complies with other rules, etc), but personally I think that the kind of mods that you upload probably belong more on GTA5Mods or something, and they'd probably get more traffic and downloads on there too. Personal opinion though, do as you wish, my friend.

Channel 7 News story on LSPDFR
7News themselves didn't mention any names (However they did neglect to blur @Darkmyre's face, and with the careless way they presented the topic, this could've resulted in real backlash against Darkmyre in real life, possibly have lost his job, been harassed etc..) So, I feel like even if we did have someone to represent this community, we'd have our hands tied (even though if you are familiar with the mod you can clearly see it *is* LSPDFR being played in the video) I'm surprised that they were stupid enough to publish something which had such lack of research put through it, but then went about it in a cunning and smart way. I'm confused whether this is a smart or an unbelievably stupid organisation we're dealing with here..

Channel 7 News story on LSPDFR
This is getting absolutely ridiculous, they're milking this so hard. One news story, two morning segments and now a poll.. I'm shocked and disappointed that 29% (So far) have answered " Yes, it affects gamers’ attitudes toward police" .. In saying that, that's real bad wording because they didn't specify which effect. The effect they're trying to claim and push, no, but I do believe that LSPDFR has an effect that makes people respect authorities more.. In any case, if someone didn't respect the Police they simply wouldn't be apart of this community, if they hate cops so much - they wouldn't be roleplaying as one and be active in a community built around respect for law enforcement..

Aha! And that's what Channel 7 are jealous of!! They're jealous that more people come here to be apart of a community, and nobody visits Yahoo7, so they're trying to end us! God damn, I'm onto something ..

Channel 7 News story on LSPDFR
^^ --------- I'd really like there to be a statement to correct 7News, especially on the "cop killing" part, but that's probably more of Sam and the collective Australian mod developer's and LSPDFR:Aus YT content creators place to do. It's actually really trashy and careless journalism, had they have timed this right after some sort of incident where an officer had been injured or killed in the line of duty, this site and Australian dev's could've seen some real backlash..

Channel 7 News story on LSPDFR
It's likely that 7News has just done this for clicks and views, $$, and gone to the minister for a statement, showed him the footage and described how shocked he should act. I'd especially suspect this because, like you said, no one has been approached or contacted over this. This is why Ch7 is among the least popular free-to-air channels here. I'd say nor the minister or government are actually worried about this, they were just approached. We'll likely not hear anything more of it.

ELS enabled Caprice PPV
Heya, when I do reviews I do them detailed, so here it goes, happy reading: > Good model, I really enjoy playing with the Caprice because I like to have both Australian and American cars in my game - and this car is both at once (The Caprice is a Holden/HSV model which sells in America re-badged as a Chevy) > I love how geared up it is, it really looks badass - I ended up taking "Paleto Bay" off of the livery and using it as a sort of global "Critical Response" type unit. A few minor issues though .. < The chrome flickers some weird textures sometimes, depending on the angle.. I'm not sure if you can fix this because the original Caprice model is done by MHAGOLMGNON, but if you can that'd be nice. I usually don't notice it though, so I'd this is the most minor of all the problems. < Again idk if this is something you can fix yourself, but the wheels are way too small. The stockies/steelies wheels on some of the CVPI models are about the same size as what should go on the Caprice. < The light bar is both a good and a bad choice .. I like how it's something new and rarely seen, usually people are using like a Liberty, Federal or Arjent on their cars. I like how low profile it is, and I like having the two four LED's in the middle and then rest is one layer of LED's, but I really dislike the lack of pattern options with this bar, it seems like the only patterns are all of the lights flashing on and off at once (at various speeds), or all of the lights switching positions ie, every second light will be red and then every second light will be blue, vise versa, they're either all on or all off at any time - there's no flash left, then flash blue, or flash all red (blue off) then flash all blue (red off) at various speeds, that's something I'd really like to see. That's about it, with my main beef being with the light bar and lack of patterns. Overall, good model, I still use it how it is, but one day I'd love to see an update. Lost two stars because of the things I mentioned, which I think is fair - but I'd definitely give it five out of five if these were ever fixed.

Does this light bar even exist?!
Interesting stuff. You mean the modules inside the SL pods? I figure the one I've been thinking about has been the Vision SL all along (I never knew it existed, I thought there was only the SLR), and the SLR is the popular rotator version. Now I know that they're two separate models, the SL being the LED one and the SLR being the LED rotator one. I'm glad that I've finally (possibly) found my answer but sad that no one's made one yet for GTA (There's an old Vision on a LVMPD car and SLR on some NYPD cars but no SL), maybe I'll commission someone good at modelling to make one so I can have it in my game I don't know tho.

Does this light bar even exist?!
Basically, this is racking my brain, that's all. In a recent discussion among LSPDFR staff, we were talking about how cool rotator lights more, specifically the Federal Vision/Vector/Vision SL(R) bars. Now .. This has been racking my brain, but I'd sworn I'd seen a light bar similar to a Vision SLR (1) but instead of a rotator inside the pod, it was a solid block/LED inside and it flashed. I could've sworn I saw it on an NYPD car in a video, but it was so long ago I can't even remember, and at this point I can't even tell if I saw a normal rotator and my brain is making up that it was a flashing LED in a pod. So.. To any NY buddies or light bar enthusiasts, does this light bar I'm describing even exist?? (1) Federal Vision SL(R?), NYPD (2) A variant of the Federal Vision rotator with a different thingo inside the pod, this isn't in any of the Federal Vision images, videos or demo's I've seen before so if someone can explain what the go here is, that'd be mad. (3) The old Vision (Pre-SLR) smart rotators in pods, LVMPD (I think LVMPD still recycle and use these because they're broke) Edit: An explanaition could be that there's a mode on the Vision SL that lets the rotators stop and just flash, but idk, I'd like confirmation on this.

here are some LCPDFR policies on using pitchforks here: 1. This is a safe zone, no pitchforks allowed 2. If you manage to use a pitchfork in this safe zone, please no running with pitchforks (that's dangerous, and this is a safe zone, you will stab yourself or somebody else) 3. No flaming pitchforks (flames are dangerous, this is a safe zone) happy pitchforking

Nuh, not moderating, more mediating, this thread has a tendency to spiral into arguments, sometimes over stupid stuff. I've got no moderator powers and don't intend to backseat moderate; tbh people could completely ignore what I say and continue on with whatever (but ofc it'd just result in me messaging CouthInk4 and he'd give ya'll the belt lmao), but I feel the need to sway conversations from a direction which would land the whole thread being shut down again, or a direction that leads to just making this thread or website feel hostile to some people. this is accurate damn, you're making some real progress with that, the first one was dodge but this one's coming along better.

Sorry to kill the conversation but I can see that this discussion about the recent AFP incident has run it's course and risks spiraling into an issue, please change the conversation. If you wanna keep discussing it you can move it to PM or this 'current events' section of the forums: http://www.lcpdfr.com/forums/forum/805-law-enforcement-current-events-society/ I will say that I don't think @Sgtnicko meant to accuse, or to cause offense to anyone, or start an argument with anybody. Seeing as this topic is rough and touchy, I will end it with this, if you feel like you're suffering anxiety or becoming paranoid or otherwise distressed due to recent events, as well as the beyondblue link in the article these guys are good to talk to as well: https://www.headspace.org.au/ (You can just like walk in if you got a Headspace near you and they have pool tables too, like how fkn cool? Free ones tho unlike most pubs) Change the convo please.

Never seen an undercover wagon before (heh, that's exactly the point of them tho), over unmarked HWP utes, so certainly never a marked wagon.
