btw.. You do know that any ped that is lying 'dead' can be reanimated From ~35->20 Healthpoints, by EMS-personal, if you are calling them in fast?We don't need constant reminders of this in every forum thread we browse. For goodness' sake, please let us be without all this PR boasting.

I think as many as you want, but you have to make sure all the vehicle chances together equal no more than 100%. I recommend setting each number to an even number so that you can make it easier to ensure each car spawns fairly. So if you only want 4 cars to spawn, I suggest setting the number to 25% and so on.

Off the bat, I can tell you that two out of the three clothing packs you linked are not EUP uniforms. Additionally, my EUP Backup Config does not depend on replacement peds, such as s_m_y_sheriff01 or s_m_y_cop_01. You will need to utilize the default Ultimate Backup or modify my configs if you want to use those specific peds and adjust the component settings accordingly. I suggest sticking with the original Ultimate Backup since it requires fewer files to edit for your intended use. There's no reason to install EUP Backup Configurations if your only intention is to use RCMP and VCPD. I haven't used replacement peds in quite some time, but it should appear like this;
<Ped chance="25" comp_shirt="2" comp_accessories="3" prop_hats="1" prop_glasses="4">S_M_Y_COP_01</Ped>
If you want to enable props like sunglasses or watches, simply add this line below the previous one:
<Ped chance="25" random_props="True">S_M_Y_COP_01</Ped>
That being said, I am not aware of which slots are assigned to which specific uniform parts from the clothing packs you mentioned. You can utilize simple trainer and access the clothes menu to locate the number you require, which is usually found under accessories 2. Lastly, if you plan to change the default backup menu settings, locate the agency_eup.xml file. I hope this guides you in the right direction. -

Are Park Rangers supposed to respond for like half of the areas in Blaine County? I don't even mean like near Paleto, if I request a second unit in Harmony I almost always get Rangers. Half the time if I request a second on Senora Freeway I also get rangers.
Is this intentional? Either way, how can I fix this? I'm still pretty new to editing UB configurations and don't really know much beyond adding on vehicles.Rangers specifically respond in the Grand Senora, designated as a national park zone. To remove the regions, you can edit the regions.xml file. Navigate to the NPS section and change "DESRT" to another department. Then, move all "DESRT" lines from CustomRegions.xml to the new department.

I vaguely remember that they reopened their website during the summer, presumably under new management, but now they are closed yet again? Seems odd. Nothing personal to MU, but 90% of the time I was on there, whether it was before their 2022 shutdown or recently, I only saw Medic's vehicles or liveries being featured, and maybe 10% of community contributions. In retrospect, it honestly feels like it was just another site for people to download their mods on, with Medic using it as his own mod archive. You couldn't open MU without seeing a Medic car, and I gave up trying to find new mods to use because I kept seeing the same thing over and over again. I am not surprised, for lack of better words, that MU is dying out.

I see, but let's say I wanna add vests with bodycams but with no hats (like in some screenshots) is there an option with that ? (If not then it's okay)
That is currently not included. Maybe someday I will add that config. Some departments like Del Perro PD don't have hats, but those that do, it's on my to-do list, but unsure when I'll get to it.

Each folder is pretty much self-explanatory.
- Patrol vests + body cameras come with body cameras for all EUP peds.
- Patrol vests + body cameras + antennas have body cameras, but you can only use either body cameras OR antennas, not both at the same time. Some officers prefer to use an antenna with their radio, but because of game clothing restrictions, you can only choose one. GTA 5/EUP doesn't allow you to wear both simultaneously.
- The body cameras folder provides body cameras for all EUP peds, except for tactical uniforms, since the camera might be blocked by a bulky vest. It doesn't make sense to have them if they can't be seen on their vests.
- Standard means none of the above. It's for regular patrol duty fitted uniforms.
- No hats means no baseball caps or campaign hats on uniforms. Helmets are still allowed, but baseball caps, campaign hats, and similar headgear are not.
I hope this helps clarify what’s available in my mod. Those extra folders are just variations in playstyle. You only need to choose one, or you can try them all and see which one you prefer. There’s something for everyone since we all play LSPDFR differently with EUP uniforms.

Cant, because i do not use plugins only my own and i have a 'call partner up to position' thingy. I cant remember if i have it in my demo-vid (signature) though. You need to make a new topic, and ask specifically for a control a partner plugin
So, OP was curious about partner plugins, and you mentioned there are quite a few. But now you're saying you can't name any just because you have your own plugins? I don't mean to come across as 'that guy', but I've noticed you keep mentioning this supposed plugin, and honestly, it's a bit annoying to keep hearing about it when it's not yet ready for release.
I've been observing this for a long time now, kept my thoughts to myself, but the fact that you just had to promote your plugin when it's not available yet, just bothers me. You're the only person I see on these boards who repeatedly talks about a plugin without actually giving updates on its completion. If you are truly working on this plugin, I encourage you to keep at it and not give up. But please, stop shoving it down our throats repeatedly when it's not ready.
I'm not trying to be rude, but I believe my opinions reflect how many others feel too—people looking for help only to be redirected to bloated answers. I hope this makes sense.

There are several partner plugins. They may be able to do what you want. ( I do not have an overview over current working plugins, so someone that uses plugins will have to chime in.
Could you please mention a partner plugin that has a follow me feature? I use UB, but it's not quite what OP is describing.

You don't sound critical of this plugin, you're just expressing your understanding of a plugin in a forum... where you're asking for people's opinion about said plugin. In my opinion, that was an uncalled-for tirade; it's not like they compare their own plugin to be that of one similar to STP and UB in the first paragraph of their mod description.
...I just want to point out that someone from the LCPDFR team recently mentioned PR in this chat. But then, another team member reminded us that talking about PR is totally off-limits because it’s seen as "rude" to make comparisons. Still, it was PR that claimed to be better than everything else, which really stirred the pot. It seems like PR gets a free pass to call itself the best just because it’s the new kid on the block. I’m interested in trying PR out someday, but if we can’t discuss it openly, I don’t think that’s the right approach. To sum it up, PR is an exciting release since it brings a lot of features that, notoriously, may I add, STP never made public in its Paetron versions from many years ago, but saying we can’t compare the two feels like a recipe for disaster. No chance to discuss them openly means no feedback for PR, which basically means we can’t figure out how to improve PR beyond just saying STP or LSPDFR+ is better. That’s not enough to make me want to hit download. If PR can let us explore this question ourselves without pressuring us to download PR before we can form our own opinions, then I would happily support PR.

EUP Backup Configurations - Support Thread
in Script, Ped & File Modifications Showroom
I see that you are using a custom EUP, and OpenIV is detecting the custom EUP pack installed in your EUP folder, which is why the hats are appearing. I recommend using one of the folders labeled 'no hats,' as that option seems best for your setup with custom EUP.
