I've always hated the single bubble light on MSP cars, and while I'm still not completely sold on it, the car is beautiful in game! I absolutely love the shade of blue that was used, it stands out in a way that says 'This car is mean and beastly!' The only issue that needs to be fixed is roof height. Had a suspect get in the back and his head was popping through. Tag me in the comments or send me a PM if you'd like a screenshot.- 45 comments

Unfortunately, none of the other vehicles do. Granted, I haven't tried every single one yet, but I did try a couple and at this time, only the Charger has functioning wigwags. I've yet to see anyone else say anything, so it's hard to tell if it's just me or not.- 66 comments

Unfortunately, your best bet is patience. This topic is not about developing car mods, it's about installing them. I will be removing our posts shortly.- [GUIDE] Police car mods: the whys and hows, and troubleshooting
Your question would be better suited in the GTA V development questions section. 🙂 https://www.lcpdfr.com/forums/forum/892-tutorials-questions/- 20180623104503_1.jpg

I think you might be mixing up the .ytds. The .ytd is one of the three require files for vehicles. It houses all textures for the car. The +hi.ytd is more for the higher quality textures. For example, some texture packs have 2k textures for .ytd, and 4k for+hi.ytd. The +hi.ytd is not required for the car to function properly. However, some authors do make them required by housing duplicate textures of ones that are already in the .ytd In your file's case, if I throw the three vehicle files into my game as a standalone and load in, I get this: Now, the the reason it's working for you is most that you have another file with a .ytd of the same name, and that is what it's using. When people take your files and throw it into their game, assuming they are replacing files already there, they are replacing the .yft and_hi.yft, which are the car files. However, because there is no .ytd, nothing gets replaced. Meaning, say their previous POLICE slot was a Tahoe. Now the car will be reading the .ytd from a Tahoe and it will not work properly. When I rename the +hi.ytd in your file to just .ytd, the vehicle spawns in and works perfectly.- 45 comments

I went in game just to triple check, and none of them work. The Charger's frontal wig wags work, but not rear. It's not a huge deal, and not game breaking for me, I just wanted to ask as I did want to throw on some extra lights.- 66 comments

It sounds like you packed everything into the +hi.ytd and are relying on that one only, which is new to me. I'll give it a try and see how it goes for me.- 45 comments

I'd just like to point out that isn't really the proper way to respond to a legitimate issue. Having dealt with tons of people on this site, I can tell you that most folks will be so confused as to why this file is lacking a .ytd. If you look at all other vehicle files, they at least contain three filed .yft, .ytd and_hi.yft. +hi.ytd is not in a lot of files, and most people are not going to think 'I can rename this to .ytd and it'll work!' It'd be much better for this file in the long run if you fix it yourself so people downloading don't end up confused and either ignore the file, or ask the same question.- 45 comments

You can manually add new slots yourself. They are standalone, and still work fine.- Blaine County Sheriff's Office Pack
They won't come on at all. I don't remember the in-game keys to change them, but I have switched them around in the VCF and got nowhere.- 66 comments

@RobertTM I assume this is how you made the pack, but I just wanted to verify. I've changed the wig wags for headlights, taillights, and the reverse lights in the VCF, but they do not work in game. Was this something you intentionally didn't add?- 66 comments

I had this pack on my radar for a while, but never got around to trying it. As usual, I threw in one car just to see how it was, and now I'm hooked. I really, really love the light bar, and the fact that cruise and takedowns work as they should. This is a beautiful pack that will be in my game till the end of time! I doubt Robert is adding to this pack, but my only request would be a marked '15 Tahoe.- 66 comments
